We looked at three different AL communities before deciding upon Chapel Hill as the next home for our mother. We had many visits and phone conversations with Amy and other team members, including Eric, the Executive Director. Through every step of this 3-4 month process, everyone was warm and welcoming. They made us feel like family, getting to know us on a personal level and reaching out proactively with any information that they felt would help us in making this process easier for us. Amy has been fabulous as our primary contact. Our mom keeps telling us that it feels like she is on a cruise ship, with good food, good people and a wide variety of community activities to take part in. Many large rooms are available for residents and their families alike. The game / craft rooms are fun, but our favorite is the private family dining room, which we can use anytime to celebrate family milestones. It's been just a short time since mom moved in, but it already feels like home to her and our extended family. Thank you.

Great care !! My stepmother is a "difficult person". But during her stay at Chapel Hill for some recovery after a stroke, the staff and managers could not have been better. They were kind to her. Attentive to my requests and inquiries and all around responsive and professional no matter what the circumstances. My own mother was a nursing supervisor at a nursing home so I was raised to think that outstanding care was the minimum acceptable standard, chapel hill provided that experience to my family and my loved one.

My father has lived there for almost 4 months. Mom passed last month, so he's been through some tough times emotionally. He's also become confused some times. The management and staff at Chapel Hill have been wonderful for him and our family. They have gone above and beyond in numerous ways making this challenging time for our family a little easier. The place itself is nice and clean and they have many activities as well as good and healthy meals. We are very happy we chose Chapel Hill for Dad.

When the time came for my mother to move to assisted living, I had a list of non-negotiables in mind: the place must be immaculately clean and safe, there must be many activities for her very active mind, and the employees must convey their love of their jobs. From the moment my husband and I walked in the front doors, I knew Chapel Hill would be my mother's new home. "Home" is the operative word. My mother has the independence she has always enjoyed, and the programs are wonderful! She loves the musical performances, the history talks, Bible classes, movie nights, the list goes on! Chapel Hill gives me the peace of mind in knowing that my mother is safe and happy!

The staff was attentive and caring and spent ample time with us. Several residents came up to us and told us what a great community it is and made my mom feel welcome and at peace with her difficult decision to leave her home and move to AL. The place is beautifully decorated for the holidays, spotless, and very tastefully furnished. Of all the AL's I have visited searching for a new home for my mom, this is by far the best.

From the administration, facilities staff and activities team, you will find committed and professional individuals who care about the residents. Chapel Hill is absolutely incredible. The staff and facility are top notch. We had previous experience with a local assisted living facility which was not so positive. I recommend anyone with a need for a senior living facility to take a tour. The Sales Director, Christina, could not be nicer and more helpful. Highly recommend.

Wonderful, professional, caring management team and staff. Large sized apartments, delicious food, very clean community, and pricing is very reasonable. Chapel Hill is located in an amazing neighborhood with shopping and much more very close by. Met with Melissa Stock a couple of months ago, WOW what a passionate and caring person. Cannot say enough good things about CH. It starts with the staff, from senior administration to the direct resident care team, my family and I have seen nothing but sincere kindness and a sense of mission to take care of the whole person. My mother has only been there a short time but helped so much in the transition. It was short notice and a holiday, and despite a horrible experience with a case worker at landmark medical center...they had a room, and dinner waiting for her. The executive director Courtney Fisher has been extremely helpful.

While researching senior living options for my mother earlier this year, I met with Kris Petersen, sales counselor for the Brookdale Cumberland facility. She provided me with a facility tour and comprehensive review of services, and was very knowledgeable in answering all of my questions. During a subsequent tour with Mom and my siblings, she demonstrated the same thoroughness, and paid particular attention to my mother's comments and concerns. Although multiple apartments were available at the time, none of them quite seemed to fit. Over the next couple of months, Kris kept in touch as occupancy changes occurred, and one day called to say that an apartment addressing all of my mother's concerns was available. After viewing the apartment, Mom concurred and placed a deposit on it that very day. Throughout this life-altering process, Kris never applied any overt sales pressure or attempted to talk Mom into something she wasn't comfortable with. Her professionalism and demeanor were exactly appropriate. Mom has been a resident for several months now, and is very pleased with her new apartment and the entire facility and staff. Although Kris's primary sales function has been fulfilled, she continues to demonstrate her caring nature by following up with Mom and other residents to ensure that all of their needs continue to be met. My husband and I met with Kris Peterson on February 18, 2016 in order to see if the Brookdale Community met my mother's needs. We were highly impressed with Kris, who was extremely helpful in answering all our questions and concerns. She is very knowledgeable, kind, and caring, and has the greatest personality!!! The facility is absolutely beautiful and well-cared for and we would surely recommend this community to others.
