They don't check on love one often enough. Even when the call bell Is in place, I waited at least 30mintutes to 1 hr for them to change my love ones. My love one is soak when I get there and she is missing the call bell. My love one lost personal items like teeth and phones never notify the family why the lost and not paid to replace. The house keeps stink... For two weeks, dead leaves on the carpet... Staff do not even know who they are working with or adress family members with their names. I only got my Christmas photo and it is February... I would recommend some where else like other post, high turn over rate.

While the staff here are usually friendly, my loved one completely missed dinner because nobody came to help wheel her to the dinner room. They’ve had terrible understaffing issues, which has led to residents not receiving basic care, such as meals. ‘

The food is comparable to what would be provided in a prison - tough meat, limited desserts, fresh fruits and vegetables? Activity is limited - specific activities not advertised - few outings - limited live entertainment Staff not overly industrious - seem to do the minimal unless specifically requested Old building - telephone lines need repair - prefer residents have cell phone - not possible if mentally challenged!

In search of a new home for my father, I discovered Celebration Villa of South Hills. During the first visit and tour, Roberta welcomed us and explained the services, charges, and admission process thoroughly. As we toured the community, we observed her interaction with the residents, and were impressed by how well she knew them. It was a clear indication of the staff’s care and concern for the residents. It is a lovely, well-kept community, and it has a "homey" feel. My dad is treated with dignity and respect by the staff; they are kind, caring, and patient. It is common for my dad to comment on how well he is cared for. There is a friendly atmosphere among residents, and they show a general concern for each other. After spending a week in the hospital, my dad returned to a warm welcome from the residents. My family and I are incredibly pleased with our decision, and we highly recommend Celebration Villa to anyone looking for a senior community in Pittsburgh.

If you have a need for an assisted living facility, I highly highly HIGHLY recommend celebration villa of south hills. No matter what role, from nursing to activities coordinators to management, the staff there is incredible. Absolute top notch team all around. I visited several other facilities and decided to go with Celebration Villa and feel it was the best decision for the resident we moved in and is in a really good area of the south hills. The place is very well maintained, looks great, cost effective, has lots of activities available for residents and most importantly for us, they have the level of care that we needed. If you are looking for a place, be sure to check out Celebration Villa. Just a fantastic place.

If you are looking for a safe, clean and interactive facility for your loved one, this is the place. My Mom is here and the staff has gone above and beyond to make her comfortable. She is well cared for and my sister and I can rest easy knowing she is safe. Roberta who helped with our admission is simply an Angel put on earth to help people in need. She is able to support not only the patient, but the family as well. Highly recommend Celebration Villa South Hills.

Celebration Villa of South Hills provided wonderful care for a resident friend of mine. My friend was happy with the care, food and extras. She enjoyed the holiday parties, the live music that outside performers provided and the friendship. Jean thanks you as do I.

My sister and I took a tour of Celebration Villa of South Hills on 11/28/23 for my mother who was being discharged from the hospital. This was just for a short term stay to have my mom adjust from hospital to home. The facility was just ok as it is an older facility, but the staff and residents were very friendly. I was impressed with the fact that many of the staff members have been there 20 plus years. My mother decided she just wanted to go home and receive her therapy there. I still wanted to write a review as Roberta, Sales and Marketing Director, took the time to show us the facility and to explain everything we needed to know regarding the care my mom would receive. Roberta even provided us with a social worker contact at the hospital my mom was at as we were having a difficult time getting someone from the hospital to call us back. She was very understanding, and we felt at ease about the whole process as it is a very stressful and difficult decision for family members to make. I am giving this review 4 stars because I can only base my review at this time on the interaction with Roberta, the staff and the tour itself.

My brother has been a resident for over a year at Atria South Hills and is having, by far, the best experience of his 16 years of needing assisted living. Our family is so pleased with our brother's care in every way. Under the leadership of Michelle O'Donnell, an environment of kindness and genuine concern for their residents' well being has not been short-changed during these difficult circumstances of the COVID pandemic. It is comforting that they are proactive and stay on top of changes need to ensure the safety of their residents. We know this because they communicate clearly what is happening via regular emails. Our brother is thriving in every way, loves the atmosphere of "family", the kindness he experiences with all levels of staff, the food, and every aspect of the Engage Life program! He said he feels safe and very happy to be at Atria. Kudos and many thanks to all of you who serve at Atria South Hills...what a stellar group!

My 92 year old mother in law has been at Atria South Hills for 6 months. In that time we have visited her a lot. Everyone there treats her with such kindness and compassion. She has made sweet friends there. The place is very clean and the food is delicious! But what I think is most important is that she went from missing her home to saying that she is home now. She actually told us that she feels safe and comfy is her new home. I would recommend Atria South Hills to anyone who has a loved one that needs help.!

Yesterday I spent a few hours with my mom at Atria. I put her in her wheelchair and walked around the grounds, and then we sat on the benches. The flowers and landscaping are beautiful and so meticulously maintained. My mother had a beautiful garden most of her life. I still plant seeds that came from her flowers. She enjoys seeing all the flowers around Atria and the birds that hop around on the bank. Later, I sat with her while she had lunch. The formal dining room is so inviting. The food was presented so attractively: mushroom soup, pasta salad with corn and tomatoes, Reuben sandwich with lean meat and bread with rye swirls, carrot cake and ice cream. It took her an hour and a half to eat, but she enjoyed every minute. When I talk to residents, they mention how happy they are at Atria. The receptionists are so friendly and helpful. The aides are kind and caring. My mother's dementia is causing her to quickly decline. She needs so much more care than what she needed a few months ago. I am content that my family and I made the right decision to take her to Atria. I appreciate being informed by emails of events and Covid information. I want to thank you and the staff for all the little things you do to make Atria a special place. Judy Flaherty

From the minute my mom saw her soon-to-be room on the main floor, she was sold on Atria and we are so grateful that she chose this wonderful place as her home. She loves being with people all day long, has engaged in the many activities and loves having her meals, housekeeping and laundry taken care of. The staff are kind and caring and have gone to extra measures to make her feel welcome and involved. I can't say enough good things about her new home. Extra special thanks to Michelle, Nina, Tim, Jim, Debbie and Susan for giving my mom the care and attention she has needed for a long time. You all go to extra measures that we really appreciate to make her new life a lovely one.

I’m at a murder mystery dinner theater at this very moment. If this is their idea a of a dinner theater they are seriously.lacking The restaurant noise is out of control, you can’t hear a thing. The first two courses are less than average. A couple pieces of pepperoni and nuts is not a first course for an $80 meal. This could only get worse.

We are very happy with the level of care my mother receives. We are also very happy with the caring, compassion and support shown her by the entire staff. The administration has taken every precaution during this pandemic for the safety of the residents and staff which means so much since we can’t visit during this time.
