My husband has dementia. When I took him to see the facility, he was quiet and withdrawn. While I was meeting with one on the owners, he was with some of the others who attend here. When I finished with the owner I came out to find my husband quite animated. The program gives him the opportunity to speak with other Veterans and join in other activities as well. He has been attending the program since the beginning of the year. This may have been one of the best decisions I made for him. Everyone one there from the owners to the activity director gives such good attention, they are caring, kind and thoughtful to everyone who comes in. I would highly recommend them to anyone who could use some socialization. Or any caregiver that needs some free time. Ellen Walker

I cannot say enough great things about Northeast Adult Day Care. I met the staff and director of NADC prior to my mom attending. Even before she began, everyone was so helpful and patient as I was fairly nervous about my mom’s dementia diagnosis. Further complicating the diagnosis, is another brain condition that she has so it takes some degree of patience and attention to detail to care for her. NADC does not disappoint. Not only is the care consistent even the transportation crew is timely pleasant and patient with my mom who can sometimes be difficult. I am so happy and comforted by this crew who looks after my mother while I’m working. I recommend NADC wholeheartedly.

The Adult Day care is nice for the clients but some of the staff members are rude and nasty to new visitors

My husband started here over the summer. Even though it is the farthest recommended daycare from our home, it is truly the best. My husband has advanced dementia and I know how overwhelmed I am at home, so I know it is a lot for them at NEADC, but they take great care of him. He is a complainer about everything and will complain about day care as well, but when he hasn't been there a couple of days, he asks whether they think he forgot about them. He also said he feels safe there. We see several of the same folks there who also attend daycare and they are lovely people, always waving and saying hello as well. I have noticed my husband being more responsive and aware on days that he goes to daycare and attribute it to the socialization and activities. Highly recommend NEADC for your loved one!

I started bringing my dad here as a way to get him out of the house and help him socialize more with people other than the family and his aides. I was a little concerned because he does have moderate dementia but the owner, Vlada, assured me that it wouldn't be an issue and that they deal with it in a variety of stages. I was also worried that he wouldn't enjoy it. Turns out I didn't need to worry about that at all. I met with Helen and did a tour. The facility was so much bigger than I expected, clean, and well lit. They even have a cute outdoor garden area they use on nicer days. She explained the programs, different types of therapy available (including water), the activity schedule, and meals. They have a nurse on staff at all times and a doctor. They also have quiet rooms where he can take a break or a nap if needed. They do trips, I think, once a week for those that are able to participate. Transportation is available and the drivers are all trained in CPR and first aid. Unfortunately, we have to private pay so I can't afford to send him as much as would like. However, the price is so much lower than other places I looked into, especially considering what it covers. So far, it's been great. My dad looks forward to going every week. He's making friends and it seems like the stimulation from the games and activities is helping his memory. He loves the food as well. They've been incredibly accommodating when I need to change his schedule or the transportation. Overall, we're both very happy with the daycare and I think they've earned their rating.

A very warm and welcoming organization. They always keep me informed of any changes that they see with my brother who attends this center. They also send me pictures of my brother and others doing activities and other participating events. I would recommend this facility to anyone who maybe looking for a place to send their love one to receive extra activity that they may not be able to provide.

My mom started at the center in January. She has been resisting the idea of a senior center for yeasr, but being isolated just made her anxiety worse. We spent some time doing a tour and worked with this wonderful staff to acclimate her. Now...she asks if she can go more days! She loves it and has made friends. The staff keeps me informed and are always accessible...even at times they should be relaxing. The drivers are welcoming and make her feel safe. I feel confident that she is safe and happy at Northeast. They are like a group of angels sent to us. Thank you for all you do.

My sister Hope has been going for over 6 months now and she loves it! I was referred here and knew this was the place for her when I viewed it! Everyone is nice and welcoming; including the drivers! My sister has Down syndrome and is showing early onset dementia and they are very patient with her and her needs. I would recommend this place to anyone! Thank you for taking good care of Hope!

My sister Mary was referred to the center by her friend Karwn We made an appointment and met with AThanks again Mary and Paulnna she showed us the facility and she was hooke she applied for the waiver program. The state took forever. Mary was frustrated, then an angle called on the phone his name was josh . He helped her through the process. Thank you again Josh you are the best. If you have a problem ask for Josh .you will not be disaapointed. .

My father loves coming here! He started out at 2 days a week and I had to increase it to 4 because he would keep asking me when he was going back . He always appreciates the kindness of the staff. I appreciate how attentive everyone is to him and they send me pictures and videos of all of the fun activities he participates in! He's turning 90 this year and it means so much to me all of the joy this place brings to his life every week! For that, I am very grateful!

I have recently moved out of state and am moving my mom down here once her place is ready. My mom goes 4 days a week. They pick her up and drop her off. She loves the daytrips and the activities. The care and commitment of the staff is exceptional.

My mom goes to this adult daycare center for almost 20 years. The center has amazing service, friendly, kind, and caring personnel. The facility is always clean. There are many varieties of food that can satisfy different individual diets. There are many activities for elderly people with special interest groups. Their transportation service is very reliable, always on schedule with helpful drivers.

My mother's home when she is not home. Excellent care is provided here for my mom. Not to mention great amenities, food and personnel. Always reliable transportation to and from, comfortable buses, helpful drivers. A nurse present on-site is another plus. Great Job!

Northeast Adult Day Care is a wonderfully warm and welcoming community. Vlada and Anna are caring owners who run their center with love and passion for providing the best care. I have personally been at the center many times, have interacted with the members and staff and have always been impressed with the professional management and the genuine enthusiasm for the care they provide. With the ability to offer therapy (including aqua therapy) and other nursing services, along with transportation and a variety of activities throughout each day, this is a great option for senior care.
