Reviews Holland Village
May 2026
I wanted to give a heartfelt thanks to the people at Holland Village. they were taking care of a loved one, and after a period of adjustment, the care was terrific. They tried to accommodate all special needs and went above and beyond in that regard. The social worker, Lee, could not have been more helpful and responsive. It is a difficult situation for all concerned, but overall the people and care was outstanding

From the moment she arrived, it was clear that your team is dedicated not only to clinical excellence, but also to compassion and dignity. The nursing staff consistently demonstrated professionalism, patience, and kindness, ensuring that her medical needs were met while also making her feel comfortable and respected. The therapists played a vital role in her recovery, offering encouragement and personalized care that truly made a difference in her progress. Social work went above and beyond to make her transfer to a LTC facility seamless. What stood out most was the genuine warmth shown by everyone- from the clinical team to the support staff. Small gestures, thoughtful communication, and a welcoming environment helped ease what could have been a very difficult time for our family. Knowing she was in capable and caring hands brought us tremendous peace of mind. We are deeply grateful for the dedication and hard work of your entire team. Thank you for helping my grandmother regain her strength and for treating her with such compassion and respect throughout her stay.

My husband Barry and I have been in Holland Village rehab for the last three weeks. We’ve been very satisfied with the service here. The nurses are great and the food is excellent and I would highly recommend sending a loved one here.
March 2026
The difference between this so-called nursing facility is is different from this nursing rehab. It’s in a hospital like setting and it’s not your own private apartment. I’m just talking about feeling under arrest all the time you can’t do anything you’re not allowed out they want to blame that on the VA I think a lot of this is not the VA but their own lockdown as soon as I walked in the place when I realized it was a lockdown facility and I’m not in need of one. They wanted to put an ankle bracelet on me like I was under arrest and I felt this way it’s now March. I’ve been here since November. I’m a veteran obviously, but I can’t believe all the rules are for veterans. There’s a handful of us here and we all feel the same way at being in lockdown constantly needed an escort to go downstairs to get a lousy haircut that’s wrong. I couldn’t go out for Thanksgiving to friends for dinner. I wasn’t allowed to. I can’t even go outside without an escort if even if I could get one they won’t allow it. The only breath of fresh air I get is when I have at a VA appointment and the escort they wanna give you that according to the escort has to be in with your doctors visit in the small office that they may have at of VA facility they insist on being there and I’m insisting that they wait out in the waiting room. I’m not going anywhere, but now they have to barge their way literally barge their way in to your appointment so what privacy do I get here? Furthermore, this whole week I’ve been in the hospital not because I wanted to, but because I had to get here and I’ll give you an example Friday 27th of February. My genitals became extremely swollen. I was in a lot of pain. I called the nurse here and at approximately 2 AM by 4 AM. I’m still having the same problem. No no ambulance no nothing. This nurse said well she has to assess me and I have to wait for a doctor to allow me to leave well my friends told me I should’ve called 911 cause eight hours later is when the doctor comes in only I have to go to the hospital as I needed to go anyway this is wrong the type of swelling that I had I needed to go right away and on top of that, they tell the EMTs that I have happy feet meaning I want to escape this is so ridiculous. I have never tried to escape. I don’t explain that one to you as well. They have no right to tell an EMT my personal business so as soon as I got to the emergency room, the EMT labs all my personal history to the emergency personnel that’s open for a lawsuit against not only the ambulance company but this place as well I came back. My next emergency was right after I came back I couldn’t urinate. They wanted me to wait until the next morning another eight hours before they would approve of my going to the hospital I called the VA hotline nurse hotline and she said get yourself to the hospital and call 911 so I did best thing I ever did once again when the EMTs came, they warned them of my happy feet meaning I was gonna escape which is so ridiculous. I have no money to escape even if I wanted to then the third incident was just yesterday. I’m feeling Faith and then a chair I requested help to go to the bathroom. None came. I’m sitting here right now. This is 30 minutes ago. I requested help nothing’s coming no help the reason being that there’s no help on the weekends is because they don’t hire enough people. There are some good people here but the majority because they get them from an agency and not from the hires are just terrible. They don’t want to do anything to help the patients that means work.

I had a wonderful experience here! The food was good, the bed was comfortable, and the environment was quiet and restful. The therapists helped me get stronger and improve my balance, and the modern gym with the latest equipment made a big difference. The nursing staff was courteous, knowledgeable, and always knew exactly what treatments I needed. Overall, everyone was helpful and kind. I would definitely recommend this facility to my friends and family!
February 2026
My physical therapy here with Shannon and Janice was excellent! I couldn't have asked for better therapists. They helped make my leg and arm stronger, and most importantly they gave me hope! The aides and nurses were very kind and polite throughout my stay. The facility is nice and clean, and overall my experience was very positive! It was a happy and pleasant stay. I would recommend it to anyone looking for rehabilitation care!

August 2025
I have been in senior living for over 20 years and see such care and support for the residents and patients that are on the campus. I have had the pleasure of connecting with Kathy the Executive Director in personal care. She has a warmth and compassion to help and make families and their loved ones feel safe and comfortable. Tanya the marketing director is compassionate. She is a good listener and has a lot of knowledge to offer both in a professional capacity and with the families she helps. Deb in Independent Living is a fabulous resource and has offered several of my clients support towards a move. Lee Beth in social services is a rock for insight and guidance in the most challenging situations. She does it with ease, kindness and compassion. This is a wonderful staple in the community for over 40 years!!!
June 2025
The staff are so nice and welcoming. They always seem to be involved with the residents.
June 2025
Every time I visit I am impressed with the facility. It is clean and the staff is so friendly and caring. There are a lot of activities for the residents as well. I cannot recommend Holland Village enough.
April 2025
The staff is friendly and compassionate, creating a welcoming atmosphere. They offer 24-hour nursing, catering to both personal care and independent residents. Doctors and nurse practitioners visit weekly or daily. The activities are creative, ranging from spring flings to pajama parties. Residents are encouraged to dine in the main dining room, where they can enjoy restaurant-style meals. Alternatively, meals can be delivered to their rooms. The campus is beautifully landscaped, with lush foliage and adorable wildlife like deer, rabbits, and various birds.

A family member was recently in rehab here i was impressed with the place it's nice clean and professional.
November 2024
My family’s recent experience with Holland Rehab was a very positive one. My husband was there after a lengthy hospital stay from a critical illness. The entire staff treated us compassionately and respectfully and listened to us every time we addressed a need. Yes, at times, my husband was attended to with agency nurses and they handled his care professionally. The staff always made us feel welcome, as my daughter and I were there 12 hours days, every day, and I’m aware that's not always the easiest situation for care workers.I won't single out individual nurses for praise, as we had our favorites, because I don't wish to forget mentioning someone. The nurses, the aides, the therapists, and the director Sam Smith who’s door was always open for our family, all of them deserve our heartfelt gratitude. It can be an extremely difficult and emotional time for patients and families when you arrive due to the stress of the prior hospitalization. I would recommend voicing your fears and concerns respectfully and patiently and they will work with you every time. My husband returned home after 138 days away, in a stronger and more stable condition because of the quality of care during his 3 weeks at Holland Rehab.
November 2024
The staff is compassionate, knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond for their residents!! The rehab department is extremely supportive and always ensures that their residents feel safe and confident transitioning home I would highly recommend Holland to anyone seeking a great rehab.
November 2024
I just wanted to share the amazing experience I had with Holland Village Senior living. From my initial phone call with Jennifer to meeting the head, nurse Amanda and all of the staff whether they were medical professionals or staff that handled some of the activities right down to the amazing receptionist that met you at the front door. I highly recommend this Facility if you need long-term care for yourself or family member.
October 2024
The pictures you will see on this site accurately show this place. This place is an atrocity, making money on frail, ill, senior citizens. Only the grounds deserve more than one star. Shame on your false advertising. Care is replaced by chaos. Same owner mentality as the name used before
October 2024
My father was diagnosed with end stage cancer and we needed a place that would take him on hospice during his final days. Holland Village accepted my father and I can't say enough good things about it. From all the nurses to the staff at the front desk. Thank you for helping myself and my family during this difficult time. Everyone was so caring and respectful. Thank you all again

I have been at Holland Village over a year and am so happy I made this decision. It feels like living on a cruise ship with all of the amenities, library, pool, gym, dining, etc. The entertainment/movies/games is excellent and everyone is so friendly and caring I feel like they are all extended family.

We moved my mother from Florida to Holland Village 6 months ago. I can’t even adequately express how amazing Deb was in working with us to find just the right apartment that would meet my mom’s approval. From answering all of our questions, redecorating and helping to arrange timing of the moving van, Deb made sure all went smoothly. Since my mother arrived, she is loving her life at Holland Village. She loves her beautiful apartment and from the first day she was welcomed with such friendly residents. She has been enjoying the various activities, and meeting new people everyday. She also has taken advantage of the health center which has been very convenient. Her only regret is that she didn’t move here sooner.
September 2024
Holland Village truly cares for Mom. The beauty of the place draws you in but it's kindness of the staff that gives peace of mind.
September 2024
After searching for senior Living independent residences for many months, Holland Village became the obvious choice. The apartments and cottages are well maintained, bright and quiet. The management team and the support staff are very friendly and responsive. There are many activities to do both on campus and off-site. The dining hall is an inviting place to have a delicious meal. Highly recommend Holland Village

My mother spent the last 3 1/2 years in the memory care here before passing away in June 2024. She lived in her own clean room under the Personal Care management of Cathy Hemphill. Cathy's dedication to the managemnt of this facility is what you would desire for any loved one. She has a good team of nurses and aides and their efforts to provide loving care to my mother were on display whenever I visited, even when they were not expecting me. I had many visits with mom and saw hundreds of the interactions between the nurses and aides with many of the memory care residents. I always admired their professionaism and their ability to soothe a frustrated or stubborn ressident. I want to personally thank two nurses, Marie Belcombe and Lucrtia Togba, for all of their efforts to provide the hands-on everyday care and support that made my mother's stay here so calm. They treated my mom like she was theirs.
June 2024
The food is good, service is cheerful, and therapy is great.
June 2024
Amazing facility! It is super clean and the staff is wonderful. If you are searching for a place for your loved one, whether it’s for independent living, assisted living or skilled nursing this facility is a great choice.
June 2024
I am currently at Holland Village and all the people that work here are very nice and very pleasant. People have been willing to help me with all that I need which I truly do appreciate. While the staff is very accommodating I do wish there would be more help.
March 2024
My experience in rehab has been mixed. Yes, this area could certainly use some sprucing up, at least, for the most part is surprisingly good, better than I expected. The breadth of the menu is quite impressive. Vegetables are usually overcooked, but the portions are more than adequate. I take exception to the night nursing staff. The other late night/early morning, I buzzed for much needed pain meds three times. Finally, after 3 calls and 1 1/2 hours, she came to my room with a very aggressive attitude. She wasn’t the only one with this attitude, but this was the worst example. I have no names. The day nurses were great, very responsive, especially Laurie. There are 4 employees who did exceptional work, professional & compassionately: Keith - aide Celeste - aide Young Muslim lady whose name I do not know - aide Bob - activities director Ending on a sour note - my room was burgled. On my window sill I had 2 inexpensive decorations I won in Bingo. I just noticed missing tonight. I have a very few dollars in my pocketbook which were not touched.
March 2024
My dad stayed at Personal Care for a month after discharge from the rehab facility as a bridge to moving closer to me. Lorna was such a huge help in getting everything coordinated and gave me such peace of mind that dad was being taken care of. She went above and beyond on move-in day to help us get everything in and sorted. And when I realized that I'd left a whole linen closet full of things after move-out to a place almost 2 hours away, she was an angel who helped me get everything back! Dad really enjoyed the caregiving staff, they took the time to get to know him and make sure he was getting out and participating in activities. If it weren't so far away from me I would have been very happy to have him stay there permanently.
February 2024
Amazing staff! They really care Abt the patients!
November 2023
Want to say how amazing their Liaison Jen Ennis is. I work for a hospice company and we had a patient who was admitted to another area SNF. The daughter was not comfortable & wanted him transfered to Holland Center. It was the end of the day, after 4:30. I called Jen as that is where daughter wanted to go. NOT ONLY did she work with me after hours, but also took time to reach out to the residents daughter & reassure her they were going to help us get him over to them tonight. She also gave him.a private room that was available. In such an emotional time in the residents daughters life, I can not in words describe how greatful I am for her empathy, professionalism & assistance in this patients care. They are so lucky to have her in their team.
October 2023
I can't say enough about the wonderful care I've gotten from the nurses and staff in the wellness center for the past two years. I've had Covid twice and just got over the flu. During all that time, I've had excellent care. The nurses visited me in my apartment and Karen made sure my needs were met. I'd love see the nurses recognized, but before that, I want to thank Karen. I don't know what we would do without her. C. Bodine

I would not take your loved one to this rehab facility. I would like to start this review by stating the administration staff that i have worked with and talked to have all been great and have helped me or promised to help me and i can tell they care. The lack of actual care my dad received as a patient here is disgusting and concerning. My father came and stayed in the rehab part of the facility for over a month. We were told he would get 2 showers a week. My dad was only given one shower when he arrived, offered a second and when he declined that 2nd shower, was never offered another again until 3 weeks later i forced the staff to give my dad a shower. We have had multiple instances where my dad needed help getting out of bed or getting cleaned up and when asking the staff on site to help they state "that is not my room assignment" and refuse to help. When asked who is his aide they respond with "I don't know" and then ignore you. My dad had a roommate who vomited on himself and the floor at 3am and rung the call bell and no one came to change him or clean up the room until 9am. My dad was in terrible pain and it took us 2 days to get the on site doctor to come look at him. He then stated that he needed an ultrasound to rule out his gallbladder and he would order it. It took another 26 hours before that was done and the aide told me they had no idea what i was talking about when i called to follow up. The night aides, besides Jamal, are absolutely terrible. I have seen them avoid patients that are in the halls. They do not answer the phones. They hang out in the break room and play on their phones while ignoring call bells. When i brought these issues up to the marketing director, she apologized and told me that she will have one of the main owners contact me about this and no one has reached out. The social worker was also great to work with, but it has been a week since my dad has left and i have contacted her multiple times to tie up loose ends on his discharge and now she wont return calls. All in all, take you loved one else where. It is a beautiful place but the staff is under paid and it clearly shows with the lack of care they show their patients.

November 2022
Nice clean place. Very friendly helpful staff
November 2022
Prior to arrival, Craig was extremely helpful with providing directions to the main entrance as well as to my loved one. The facility was clean, staff was friendly and professional and main entrance was well lit in the evening. I was quite impressed during my first visit with it all and was reassured that my loved one is getting the care needed during a stressful time. It should be noted that this is the rehabilitation unit of Holland Village. Cellphone service is unreliable within the facility but Wi-Fi accessible.

I can only speak of this place in regards to the rehabilitation floor. My 85 year old father had to be transferred here for rehab and nursing care after his hospital stay so that he can gain strength to be able to go back home for my Mother to resume caring for him. The place looks beautiful from the outside and the lobby is as well but when you exit the elevator on the rehab floor it is a whole different place! Stained walls and missing trim, and just overall looks dirty. My father's room was absolutely disgusting! The walls were stained, had hardened drips of who knows what all over the walls and floor and you could clearly see the room was not cleaned during the week that my father was there, he even had a hard piece of food or who knows what stuck in his bed remote, so grose! There are no tvs in the rooms so the patients just lay there with nothing to do.The nurse on the floor (seems to be Russian perhaps) is very unfriendly. The worst part of my father's stay was when my Mom arrived to visit and walked into my Dad's room finding him sideways on the bed with the bed rail down, his pants halfway down, and a bowel movement in his depends, he could have ended up on the floor not to mention how undignified it was to leave him that way!! His roommate was naked sitting in a wheelchair and no one was in the room with them!! My Mom went up to the nurse and told her what she found and the nurse just kept saying, no, there is someone in there, you just didn't see her. Finally after much arguing, the nurse saw the aid further down the hall in the laundry area and brushed it off and said, well, she is getting the sheets for the roommates bed and looked annoyed that my Mom would have an issue with this, she said something to the aid and then the aid gave my Mom an attitude, told her she wasn't finished in his room yet and pretty much shut the door on my Mom's face!! I'm sorry, but these people should not be working in this environment or with anyone in the public whatsoever!! It makes me very angry the way they treated my Father, my Mother, and the man who was my father's roommate. UPDATE..... MY FATHER HAD TO BE SENT BACK TO THIS REHAB FOLLOWING ANOTHER HOSPITAL STAY AS IT WAS THE ONLY REHAB WITH AN AVAILABLE BED AND THIS VISIT WAS THE POLAR OPPOSITE OF THE FIRST!! HIS ROOM WAS CLEAN AND UPDATED, THE STAFF WAS VERY KIND AND CARING, ESPECIALLY DANIELLE WHO WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND FOR MY DAD AND CRYSTAL WAS ALSO SO VERY KIND.! THE PT WAS VERY GOOD!! I WISH HIS FIRST VISIT WAS LIKE HIS SECOND . I HOPE EVERYONE HAS AN EXPERIENCE HERE LIKE MY DAD'S SECOND VISIT AS IT REALLY WAS WONDERFUL.
January 2022
My loved one was discharged without their medications being called to a pharmacy. They were not ordered until 3 days later. Overall, the discharge process was sloppy with no communication from the physical therapy departmentcresting and unsafe situation once home. Lastly, no accountability for equipment not being delivered in a timely fashion.

Very neat, well-kept facility with a lot of super kind professionals running around with smiles on their faces. They truly seem to care. Wonderful place that I'd recommend to anyone!

Holland Village Senior Living Community is in beautiful Bucks County. I have worked with many families who adore the location as it provides them with peace and tranquility. Some have compared it to a park-like setting. I have toured recently and was impressed with the staff, their response to residents needs and would definitely recommend for my family or yours.

My relative lived for a long time in the Personal Care (assisted living) section. He enjoyed a lot of opportunities to interact with staff and other residents. He received moderate attention for health matters, with more focus on responding to issues than to preventing them. The staff is busy but genuinely caring. The pandemic made the whole situation difficult and isolating, especially for someone with cognitive deficits, but the facility did an excellent job of keeping residents safe. Eventually he was moved into Health Care (skilled nursing) as he needed much more attention and assistance. He received kind and compassionate care there and good communication from the staff was appreciated. He spent the last weeks of his life in that comfortable environment.

- Schedule a tour and visit the physical location to make sure community description is accurate.
- Confirm with community manager that living and services required for you or your loved one's unique needs and budget are met.
- Check with state government websites for additional provider licensing and information.
If there is any information that is inaccurate or needs to be updated, please contact Assisted Living Center.
Assisted Living Center uses the term "assisted living" or "personal care" to inform users that a community provides assistance with some Activities of Daily Living (ADL's). It may not meet your state's legal definition required for that level of care.
