Chandler Hall Health Services – Reviews
Just want today Thank you for taking great care of my mother in her last moments of life. You made my father feel good about the great care she received and comfort from the pain. Room was large enough we felt the space was adequate as though we were not in the way, as the nurses came into check on her.Thank you from the Frazier FamilyUnder COVID-19 rules two at a time so her brother and sisters could see her
My Mom was diagnosed with end stage cancer at St. Marys Medical Center in August. Through the hospital, because my Dad had been helped so much by Chandler Hall Hospice 10 years ago, we contacted Chandler Hall to help us once again. As before, they were amazing and I could not have made it through my Moms passing without their help and reassurance. The nurses are all amazing, but one, Kim, was so empathetic and compassionate, professional and informative, that I truly depended on her. Sue came out for our initial set up and also came over right away when my Mom did pass away. I cant say enough good things about the thoughtful care my Mom received and the help I received. During one of lifes hardest times, I know I could not have done it without them. Heaven forbid they are needed......but if they are, dont hesitate to call them. They are truly angels on earth.
Where do I start... All of the girls that work here are unbelievably the best. I couldnt have asked for a better place for my aunt to spend her last week with us. They took real good care of her as if it was a member of there own family. Very happy with everything they did.
I wasnt a patient there but my good friend and roommate was in the hospice area because she was too ill to stay home any longer. They were fabulous with helping their patients with pain and dealing with the fact that they were passing away. They treated my friend Anna Marie and the other patients very well and gave them and family and friends comfort at the end of life. If I have to go to a hospice, thats where I would want to go.
My father was at the Chandler Hall Hospice for about 5 weeks. He had been ill and disoriented at the hospital, and for the first 3 weeks of hospice, he ate, slept, felt, and related to us the best he had in a long time. In the last weeks as his disease started to get the best of him, the staff were very active in keeping him (and me) comfortable physically and emotionally. I got to be my fathers attentive daughter instead of exhausted caregiver, and dad was able to really enjoy visits with his friends and family. Eventually his body weakened and my father passed peacefully in spite of multiple cancers. I will always be grateful for this hospice experience.
Chandler Hall is a great place for assistant living and hospices the people are so friendly in the hospice part the really make sure that family are well taken care of I highly recommend this place to anyone
My wife was in hospice at Chandler Hall. They made dealing with a hard fact of life a little easier. They took good care of Judi and always keep her looking like the angel she was. They keep the both of us comfortable in her last days. I was always there with Judi holding her hand. I got to talk with her for night before she went into a deep sleep. I got to be there holding her hand the night she passed away. I spent plenty of time through out the years holding Judis hand, but the time we spent at Chandler Hall will be my most memorable. She was in peace, no pain and in a place that felt like home. Thank you for taking care of Judi and I.5 stars
Very good care received during 4.5 years, compassionate, patient staff, many of whom went far above their job description to support my family member. I remember them frequently. Admissions department and social work clearly communicated policies and financials about all care levels, AL to SNF to hospice. I was able to trust the care team to spot health issues long before they were on my radar, so important during the long decline. Very please with medical care received and most of all the day to day home established for my LO, from the Hicks Residence to Friends Nursing Home to Hospice. Despite many care options available closer to me, Chandler Hall was the best care fit for my family member, and for almost 5 years I drove a distance to visit.
Compassionate care in a comforting environment, they try to make the facility more like a family home than a nursing home. I especially appreciate the plaques commemorating all those who spent their final days in their facility.
My grandpa seems comfortable here. Rooms are kind of big. Food isnt bad. As far as a nursing home, 5 stars in my experience.
We used their Hospice for about a month during November & December 2012 for my mom who had CHF and was bed ridden. Their paid staff and volunteers were fantastic, compassionate, responsive and attentive to my moms needs (constant bathroom visits, transfers, position shifts to prevent bedsores, etc.) not only when family was there, but when alone. Also, their supervisory, management, professional staff was communicative and always had time to answer the multitude of medical, medicare, medicaid, financial and any other types of questions my family had regarding my mom. As my father is going to be 94 in a couple months, if he needs hospice services, I would not have any concerns using Chandler Hall Hospice again for him knowing he would get the best possible care. I hope I get care this good if I ever have the need. 🙂
I think Chandler Hall is Amazing! The rooms are great and the grounds are beautiful!
The nurses and staff took very good care of my mother and my family during the last week of her life5 stars
