My mom toured 3 assisted living facilities in mid June. All 3 facility staff members made her feel welcomed, however Glen Mills Senior Living became a no brainer because of Lucia and the staff at this particular facility. The cherry on top was that a week after touring the facility, Glen Mills just so happened to start a limited promotion to provide a move in discount. My mom moved in on the first week of July and she is involved in activities that she didn’t know she still needs. They are treating my mom like I treat her and that is priority.

My mother moved here after being in another personal care facility where the care was poor. I am so impressed with how caring the team was at Glen mills Senior Living. Within the first few days everyone knew her name and made her and our family feel welcome. They checked on her and made sure she went to dinner and activities. Also helped immensely with personal care. My only regret is that I did not move mom to Glen Mills much earlier than I did.

My grandmother has been it Glen Mills Senior Living . I couldn’t be happier with the care she receives , as well as knowing she is safe and loved like family. The staff is kind and patient. Having previously worked in a senior living facility I have to say this is by far the best all the way around, always clean, they make holidays fun, and take into consideration the wants , needs and feelings of everyone under their care . I hope if one day I am in senior living it is with a place and staff like them.

My mom has been it Glen Mills Senior Living for two years now. We couldn’t be happier with the care and attention she receives. The staff is incredibly kind, patient and truly dedicated to making the residents feel at home. They go above and beyond to ensure everyone’s needs are met-whether it’s a helping hand, a friendly chat or a little extra attention when someone’s having a hard day. The facility is always clean and bright and welcoming. They decorate for every holiday and season which makes for a homey environment. My mom was only there for a very short time in hospice care, but Glen Mills Senior Living took excellent care of her. They made the transition very smooth. It was an extremely stressful time for my family, but Lucia took care of everything in a timely manner for the comfort of my mom. I would highly recommend them for elder care.

Absolutely love this community & team. You can see that the relationships the staff have with the residents are authentic and I can see it clearly every time I am there. It is extremely clean, and the food is delicious. Overall, I can say I find true comfort knowing my loved one is in great hands and has endless activities to enjoy with all of the residents. I also would like to add that their Memory Care unit is beautiful, secure and has a beautiful secure outside patio area which is great. I recently had the pleasure of touring Glen Mills Senior Living and I was very impressed with the overall atmosphere and care they provide. The staff was incredibly welcoming, continuously greeted us throughout our visit, and answered all our questions about their community, amenities and services. The facility itself is bright, clean and designed well with plenty of spaces for residents to socialize and relax. Overall it seems like a lovely place for seniors to live!

Glen Mills Senior living is a great community. I visited the facilities during a holiday crafting event. The building and grounds were clean and hospitable. The staff members were welcoming and nice. The community members looked happy and were welcoming to my children while we were there. While we were there I learned about their community and offerings that they have such as memory care, activities for residents, and up coming events they will be having. I have already recommended this place to many friends looking for a place for a loved one and will continue to do so.

I remember this place. Before this nursing home, this is where Pulsations nightclub was before it was demolished. The thing was huge! I remember it had a spaceship that came down and a robot you would stand on to dance with it!

I had a very difficult situation concerning my husband. The hospital placed him in a terrible rehab facility. I walked into Glen Mills on Sunday and Amaya was sitting at the front desk. Not sure if she sensed my anxiety but she immediately offered to take me on a tour. She gave my Ken's card and said he would reach out to me. That night, a Sunday night, he called me at 8pm. He listened to my situation and immediately asked me if I could meet him at the rehab place the next day. He got the paperwork processed immediately, even tho the facility told him it would take about a week, he advised them that it was going to be done immediately. I have named Ken my 'Angel" because that is what he truly was and is to me. It has been a difficult adjustment for my husband, but all the staff has been wonderful giving him the time he needs. They know my goal is to bring him home eventually and they are working with me to do try to accomplish that. It has been only a week he has been there, and I am already impressed with the staff there. A special thank you to Ken (my angel) and Amaya, Bisera (hope I spelled her name correctly) for all your help and understanding towards me in this most difficult time of our lives.

My Mother was in Respite Care at Glen Mills Senior Living and I was very pleased with Ken, his staff and the attention they gave my Mom during her stay. The staff is very knowledgeable in Elder Care, friendly and whenever I had a concern, they addressed the matter immediately. The facility is very clean and well maintained. My Mother’s private, efficiency-type apartment and bath was always clean and very accommodating for her needs. I really like the fact that all residents wear monitors to call staff if theyre needed. We had a positive experience at this facility and will return when future care is needed.

I can't say enough good about the staff and service at Glen Mills Senior Living!! I have had the pleasure of working with the staff there on a personal and professional level, and it has been a very welcoming experience. We are shopping for Assisted Living for my grandmother as a family, and the service with a smile is unbeat. The tour was fantastic... and despite not needing a memory care unit for my grandmother, to see the new space was great. It is light and homey. In the rest of the facility they offer more than adequate apartments/studios, dining, and recreational spaces. I have had pleasant interactions with everyone from the front desk receptionist, to the Executive Director, kitchen staff, CNAs/nurses, all the way to maintenance and housekeeping. Most experiences have been led by master of good energy Ken Ringgold, the Community Relations Director. While much of his job is marketing, it is clear that he is ingrained with the staff, but most importantly the residents. Many of them stop to talk with him, or he will go out of his way to assist or visit with the residents and their families to assure a quality and relatable stay at GMSL. Working with him on a professional level has been fun and respectful, always presenting polished and with a smile and great attitude. The personal touches he brings to everyone he speaks with in person and right down to an email are unmatched. Your loved ones would be lucky to be surrounded by such a great environment!

A recent change in my husbands health made me realize the I would no longer be able to care for him at home. Thankfully, a social worker suggested I contact Glen Mills Senior Living. From my first call and subsequent appointment with Ken Ringold, Community Relations Director, I was impressed with the professionalism and friendliness. The organizational culture appears to be one of safety and caring which starts with the leadership and extends to the staff. This was most evident by the care provided by the nursing assistants to both my husband as me as well.

From top to bottom Glen Mills is outstanding! My Father has been there for 3 years and has always gotten exceptional care. It truly is a family driven atmosphere. They are extremely proactive if there are any issues and if there an issue, it it handled promptly and with full communication with the family. The people at Glen Mills have become our family. You must consider Glen Mills. After an extensive search for an ideal regional Senior community, our family decided on GM. Four (4) months later, we could not be more pleased. More importantly, mom is pleased. A retired MSW and family counselor, mom is quite aware of how all of this is supposed to be done. And GM has not disappointed. Director Carol ensured a worry-free transition on Mom’s Valentine's Day move staff & residents welcomed Mom as if a dear friend had returned home. Day & night staff provide seamless compassionate care, which continues to be above and beyond, in light of mom’s developing difficulties. Director Michelle is now working with our family as we transition to an advanced level of personal care. Family and non-resident friends are always greeted warmly by staff and fellow residents. Meals with Mom are delicious. She is ALWAYS well groomed, and her apartment is ALWAYS clean. As all of this is supposed to be. GM has provided my family peace of mind we’ve not enjoyed for well over a year. Thank you Carol. Thank you Michelle. Thank you Glen Mills.

Transitioning a parent from their home to a new living arrangement is always a little scary not only for seniors but also for their kids left trying to make the best decision for an aging parent's best welfare and happiness. We had looked at a few other senior living facilities before we choose Glen Mills Senior Living. We are really happy how smooth this transition has been not only for our Dad but also for us. We wanted an independent arrangement for him that would include a supportive community around him 24/7 to know he was safe. In addition to the visual aesthetics of Glen Mills, knowing that your staff turnover was so low was another reason we choose Glen Mills. Our Dad also needed a living arrangement that could provide a consistent community of caregivers. Our Dad is super social so we knew he would need to build friendships with not only other residents but also with the entire Glen Mills Senior Living Community and thankfully that has happened. Another benefit that we have appreciated was that we could bring some of his personal home furnishings along. It has made his apartment feel more like home. Our Dad seems to appreciate the cooked meals, how clean his room is kept, and that he has a day filled with activity options. He seems happy! As a family we appreciate the friendly and attentive Glen Mills team and the kindness your team offered to our Dad. Thanks for helping us sleep better and worry less! Jim B.

Excellent & caring environment ! I’m the oldest of 4 boys & no women in family to help with my 86 year old mom . They have made the transition easy & my mom is adjusting well . I often come here with a friend to visit his mother and I am always impressed how genuine the staff is. They're always asking what they can do to assist someone and the environment is always a loving and caring one. I have been in other communities like this and never felt the kind of warmth that I feel when I visit this one. I have also interacted with the Director of the community and also the nursing staff and I'm impressed by all.

I am very disappointed in the service from some of the staff members in this home. The staff members who are supposed to be looking after my Grandmother, have been stealing her change that she uses to play bingo as well as her personal items. Items that hold sentimental value to our family. This is very upsetting because my Grandmother enjoys her stay here otherwise. Glen Mills Senior Living provides excellent activities and entertainment that bring joy to the residents. I hope that this message is reviewed and acted upon for the sake of the families who are being robbed of the items that they cherish from their loved ones.

My mother was a resident at Glen Mills for the last three years. I can not begin to express my thanks for the wonderful care that she received. As her health began to fail and her needs increased they were there to support her. The small environment allowed for personal relationships to form not only with other residents but also with the staff. I found everyone to be kind, considerate and helpful at all times. I would absolutely recommend Glen Mills for your loved one.
