I am surprised to read all the positive reviews! My mother-in-law was at Sunrise for15 months and the care was not good. She had a few falls toward the end of her life. The last fall she broke her elbow and the careworkers simply put a gauze on it. She was screaming in pain until she went on hospice and was sedated. This place was not caring and every time I emailed the director, I was ignored. Good Luck!

My mother has been a resident at Sunrise of Granite Run for about 6 months and I am so pleased with the progress she’s made. She has blossomed beautifully with coming out of her shell, making friends, and becoming more interested in engaging in activities with others than I ever could’ve imagined! She’s put on healthy weight and can now walk with a walker. The care team at Granite Run has far surpassed my expectations. Thank you for always going above and beyond for our loved ones and genuinely making a difference!!!!!

My grandmother is a resident at Granite Run and we could not be happier. The caregivers she has had have been wonderful, attentive, and so helpful in the transition from home to a senior living environment. The administration has been responsive to any questions we have had, and always address any concerns in a short timeframe. The options for food and activities are wonderful. We have seen such improvement in my grandmothers demeanor and we could not be happier with the decision to move into Sunrise of Granite Run.

If you are looking for an assisted living for a family member make sure you tour Sunrise. I have had 2 family members there since April 2022. They have received great care on a daily basis. The staff there is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The food from the kitchen is great, they provide 3 healthy meals a day with several options to choose from. There is coffee and snacks also available through the day. Unfortunately my mom passed away. We are thankful for the amazing care she received at sunrise during her final days. They treated her and my family with the highest respect. I will never be able to thank their staff enough.

My father lived here for 3 years before he passed and he made many new friends and had a wonderful quality of life until the end. There were a lot of male residents that we still keep in touch with because they became like family as well.

This year, 2020, has been beyond difficult for many of us and has challenged us in unthinkable ways; however, Sunrise always took care of my Mom. My Mothers health started to decline during the summer and all of the staff at Sunrise TRULY did their best to keep my Mom happy and comfortable during her last days and hours. I am forever grateful for the care they gave my Mom and take comfort knowing that my Mom was truly cared for by a wonderful staff.

My father recently passed away after spending 3 years at Sunrise Granite Run. My sister and I picked this place because it is smaller and has a home- like atmosphere. We met some lovely people who work there, who really care and listened to our concerns. Especially with COVID (no resident outbreaks there) they really stepped up to make sure Dad knew we loved him, that he was safe, and they took it upon themselves to be there for him. I will be honest and say it wasnt perfect always, but I really think they did their best with all that is going on. On behalf of our family, our sincere thanks to this facility and their caregivers and nurses.

A wonderful community, the staff my family and I interacted with were down to earth and caring. This is a great environment for seniors with the ability he age in place very nicely. The availability at the time was not suited to our family needs, otherwise a first choice residence.

There were a few issues with showering in the beginning, however these have been resolved. The manager and the director have been helpful. There is a variety of food options, unfortunately mom does not like the food. There is always something going on. The community is clean and the grounds are nice. The friendliness of the staff helped us to decide on this community. I would recommend taking a look to see if this community would work for your loved one.

Room includes cable, phone, one assisted shower. 35% male, many vets. met a few of the men and saw two of their rooms. Level of care goes beyond most typical Assisted Living places. Very nice victorian house look and feel.

The food is not bad and they do offer a wide variety of options. They accommodate for different dietary needs. The director is wonderful and quick to respond to our concerns and questions. The staff are helpful and encouraging. The staff interact with the residents on a daily basis. Mom has started to enjoy some of the music entertainment they offer. They have two live in cats and they also bring in other animals for the residents to enjoy.
