Ashley has a good group of cooks here, sunshine who cooks in the morning does a great job Wayne at night in the new and the new Cook Steve is a really great guy and a good cook and darrell on the weekends and Tracy, who like the kitchen dining room manager does really good job. She takes care of everybody and Carter who helps as an help kitchen Has a broken foot and she comes every day with it cast on her leg Who do to the people who work here Tami who is the manager make sure everybody is taken care of and Caitlin yeah activity Director. Make sure everybody has a good time. Sylvia at the desk will answer any questions or make sure you take you're taken care of. She greets everyone with greetings and happiness. Caitlin has taken us on two field trips in the last two weeks both of our farmers markets Janowski someone route 30 last week this week. Everybody had a great time we looked at the leaves. We took a ride about two hours. We shopped at the store for a while then we went across the street and ate, always takes care of us. She waits on every single one of us.

Hi my name is Raymond Sasselli, grandson of local resident Patricia Sasselli. I have visited my grandmother on many occasions and I have left every time with a very pleasant experience of all amenities and people. The staff is very helpful, especially in the dining room where everyone gets to enjoy the finest of delicacies. I'm happy that my grandma seems very happy and safe at her residence, as that are the two biggest things for my family. All in all, I would say Chartier's Bend is the perfect haven for my grandma and people alike. 10/10 experience.

when my husband passed away, I never thought I would be happy again, my daughters suggested that I move into an independent senior apartment, we toured several and when we walk into Chartier's bend, I knew this was the place where I would like to move. The staff wear extremely helpful and went the residents to be happy and do everything they can to make it happen and on the other side the residents are very friendly, and they suggested activities that I might like, the more activities I did the more people I met, and more friends I made. I will always miss my husband but I'm very happy here in Chartier's bend.

We moved my mother in yesterday. The staff has been exceptionally helpful and polite. I asked Silvia for some information about health care providers in the local area. My husband and I were the first residents to call Chartiers Bend our new home. While not perfect, it has much to offer. Staff is great. The residents have become good friends and care for each other. Many activities are scheduled so no one need be bored. Come visit us to help you decide to make this your home too .

My mother has lived at Chartiers Bend for almost 5 years. She enjoys a lovely 1 bedroom apartment with a deck. Transportation is available to doctors' appointments 3 days per week. Shopping trips are regularly scheduled to various stores. Other ventures include restaurants, and cultural events. Entertainment and other activities in-house keep the residents busy providing lots of opportunity for fun and social interaction. The staff is warm and attentive. It's been a perfect place for her!

The entire building has everything you might need from a bank to a pharmacy . And the employees could not be more helpful and efficient and lovely!!! We love the people the food and activities.

Chartiers Bend Retirement Resort is such a wonderful place for my parents to live independently. When my father passed away in January the entire community was so supportive to our family. Both management and the residents are truly a blessing to my mom, as well as myself. It's nice that not only is my mom known there, but they also know me and truly care about our family.

This is a wonderful place, the treatment of the staaff members is amazing and very pleasant. The place looks very nice inside and very clean and hygienic, not to mention how delicious the food is, every day there is a different menu, there are many many activities where residents have fun and also stay active. And also the lady at the front desk is very kind and always with a smile , and she will always be there to help you with anything , I love her .I would absolutely bring my grandparents to live in this beautiful place.

My first time walking in the doors of Chartiers Bend, I felt so welcomed by the residents and the staff that I made the decision to make it my new residence. I've been here for one year and have enjoyed it very much every day , the staff is extremely helpful friendly and always available for our needs they will go above and beyond to help you, I've made many friends and get involved in so many of the wonderfully planed event. The menus for all the meals have been exciting so many foods to choose from ,is wonderful and delicious!. Then there are our managers. I can't thank them enough for all that they have done to make everything running so smoothly and for all the help they have given to me personally.

I have delighted in CHARTIERS BEND ever since the first day I arrived. Our managers and our concierge are exceptionally knowledgeable and eager to please. Sylvia. the concierge, is skillful with turning on the electricity in an apartment, cheerfully helping us with our computers, keeping us aware of the rules, providing information concerning activities, etc. the dining room is managed by Tracy who knows everyone's names, and greets each one like family. Ashley, our chef, as well as her crew , provides a large variety of selections

In my opinion there are not enough words to describe what Chartiers Bend has meant to me these past four years. Management and staff have helped me through good and bad times. There are activities for everyone and friends so you never feel lonely or bored . Any requests I asked for whether it be management or conceigre, food Chefs (you can't please everyone), or activities or maintenance has always been answered. When my husband passed away I didn't have to join a greivance group I had them right here at Chartiers Bend.

What an amazing facility- the staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and caring. The food is great & so yummy. But I must send kudos to Silvia the concierge. She has come to my rescue so many times and always with a beautiful smile. A computer guru! Chartiers Bend has a gem!! I'm so glad to call Chartiers Bend my home.

Chartiers Bend is an excellent place to live. The managers are warm and friendly. They try to answer and meet our needs. Our concierge, Sylvia was immediately there when I fell on my face. Called an ambulance, gave me ice for my face and made sure I was O. K. She took good care of me until the ambulance arrived. SHe also helped me to fix the problem I was having with my computer. We have wonderful opportunities to participate in games, volleyball, scrabble, bingo and many more. We are so fortunate to have people who take loving care of our community.

This community is a wonderful place for people to live and age. There are so many wonderful amenities like Home Stay Comfort Care on sight and Legacy therapy with an office also on sight in the building. Both work so well together to care for the residents. So many activities! If you are bored it's your fault. Caitlin does such a great job. All of the staff is so friendly and helpful!

My grandparents lived here and loved it! Such a welcoming community in the South Hills area, not far from where they were living before. So many great activities (cornhole, chair volleyball, visitors and activities in the theater). Caitlin was always so kind to them, and our family when we would visit. Great food and a gorgeous dining room. Would recommend.

I have lived in Chartiers Bend over 4 years and love it here. It's a kind and friendly atmosphere. The staff is very attentive and pleasant and the concierge greets you with a smile as you enter the building. They are always available to help you in all ways. . The dining room is bright and welcoming with an abundance of food choices including a hot bar, plentiful soup and salad bar and a Chef's Pantry loaded with, sandwiches, chips, deserts and beverages. The many activities are open to all. We enjoy the theater with movies and live entertainment. We also have a van that takes us to Dr visits, shopping and a monthly restaurant visit. We always welcome new arrivals so I hope you join us.

In house beauty parlor, drug store for ordering medications to be delivered right to your door. Bank can be done also. Having 3 shifts of very polite, intelligent concierges at front desk always willing to help with your questions and issues you may have. A maintenance worker on board to help with anything that goes wrong in your apartments. A very knowledgeable life style director that always has activities scheduled for the residents daily. A beautiful theater for movies and sports shows. Live in experienced managers that always has an open door policies for your issues. Computers with the most current software available for residents. Also a billard room, activity room for crafts, ping pong , darts and a game room. Once a month a American Legion associate comes in and talks to the veterans about VA health systems and disabilities. Well trained experienced dinning employees always their to help residents. Along with excellent chief and cooks with at special times, like birthdays get a sit down dinners. All holiday's, residents get special meals. Excellent cleaning employees keep your apartment clean along with the building. Garages available for a low extra fee. The manager's Tami and Randy at Chartiers Bend and their staff are amazing to be around. They go above and beyond for the residents and their families. A big shout out to Silvia their lead concierge and their kitchen supervisor Tracey! Along with chef Ashley, Sunshine, Wayne, Diane and everyone in the kitchen/dining area who serve and make it a great dining experience. Also their lifestyle director Caitlin. They do an amazing job!

My grandparents used to live here before my grandfathers passing. It is the best place! It’s like a cruise ship with all the activities, food, managers who live on site etc. the new chef is absolutely amazing and the food has improved soooo much! Don’t let the reviews trick you, it is the best place and you won’t regret moving here.

I have worked at chartiers bend since they opened, this is honestly an amazing place to work. The residents are super friendly and there are lots of activities to keep residents happy and active. They have a great culinary team that prepares the most amazing food!
