If you are looking for above and beyond care the owner operator of this location is that person. My mom has a long list of medical issues and the owner made it her personal goal to take care of her and her ever changing needs. Owner is heavily involved and available all days and times. She is a resource of medical information from her previous nursing career. I cant thank her enough for her help and being a great sounding board for questions and concerns about my mom.

I showed up unexpectedly to tour this facility for my mom. Its better not to have an appointment because you get the true experience and not a staged one. What I found was an immaculately clean place. I smelt bleach and windex. The residents were dressed in clean clothes without stains on their shirts. Residents choose from menus, restaurant style, and if they dont like whats on the menu they have an alternative menu with 9 other things, like chef salad, BLT, grilled cheese, etc. There are snacks 24-7, and yummy snacks, not government food. They have a Bistro with coffee and beverages throughout the day. They crank up their bread machines and fresh bread comes out for a snack. Food , Cleanliness and Care are their first priorities to their Seniors. We have been here exactly one month. Never have I smelt urine or other bad smells. I smell cleaning products. People are constantly cleaning and vacuuming! Its amazing! I am finally relaxing. I found a great place for Mom. She loves it here! She has lots of friends and enjoys the activities. Her room and bathroom are spotless. Its wonderful to trust them with your mom and not be disappointed. They deserve an outstanding review. They work hard and the residents are benefitting from sincere care and love. I am thankful to God.

Not too long ago, I wrote a review regarding Above & Beyond and what a wonderful place it was to work. Which by the way after over 2 years I still feel the same. This time I would like to write a review from another perspective. That of the care of a loved one To write my review I have to start it off with a little background story. So here it goes. When I started my job, I noticed a beautiful elderly lady sitting everyday in the hallway. We began to chat. She looked very similar to my Mom. I had just lost my Mom Much to my surprise she had the very same birthday as my Mom. The same year, month , day and year. Before long she and I were the best of friends. I would take her on the Above & Beyond outings We spent every holiday together. We became family. I loved her like my Mom! So now you understand why I want to let you know about the kind of care my friend received at Above and Beyond. It is beyond, no pun intended compare. Everything my friend ever needed was always met with love and understanding. My friend was very strong willed and knew what she wanted. Naila, our Administrator made SURE that those needs were met. Naila would constantly check with me on what I was about to feed her. Naila would tell me No she needs more protein or make her a milkshake. Naila would tell me go to the store get her some fresh fruit. One day my friend was admiring a new decoration in the lobby. It was a fall little tree with lights. My friend told Naila how much she loved it. Naila told her you eat your dinner and you can have the tree. Before I knew it the tree was in her room. I would be remiss if I did not mention the wonderful care she received from the PCA's here at Above & Beyond. My friend had to fed. No one was ever too busy to feed her or make sure she got in for her nap. The most impressive time for me was one day my friend was sitting at the front desk with me. Naila came into work. Naila looked at my friend and said to me what is wrong she does not look right to me . And, sure enough something was wrong. It was addressed immediately. My friend was her old self again. I would like to say that my friend was special, which she was. But as far as the type of care she received. They are like this with every single one of their residents. When naming their facility they sure picked the right name. They truly do go Above and Beyond. Unfortunately the time came for my friend to leave this earth. While my friend was passing what I witnessed and the care she received just blew me away. Naila made sure someone was with her at all times. Naila would call me constantly, if she wasn't in the building. Wanting an update or to tell me make sure she is not alone. She would also call the family constantly. She was so kind and comforting. I mean with the schedule these people have who does this? I would like to mention that friend did have family. The family members constantly tell me they can not believe the care their Grammy received. I am telling the Owners Kelly and Nader know all their residents' names. Greet them and are so loving and caring. I am telling you as both as an employee and one that watched the care provided to a loved one, This is the place to be, Not only will your loved one be provided with quality care. But it is care with love and real concern. Real concern!

This has been a very good experience. After a very short adjustment period ,my mother is happy there and has made friends. She feels cared for and is treated kindly. She is not isolated like she was when she stayed with my sister and they were at work all day and busy in the evenings as well. Even thought I live across the country, I have seen how they care for her and interact with her and it keeps me from worrying.

My Aunt has lived at Above and Beyond, Mt. View, a little over 2 years now. Living there has been a wonderful experience for her. Three meals a day that the caring staff ensures residents do not miss; activities every day for their enjoyment; optional spiritual services each morning; weekly-bi-weekly excursions to go out to lunch, go shopping, to the movies, etc. There is a large courtyard in the center of the facility that my aunt loves to spend time in. The owners are on site and know each resident by name. There nurses on staff and they have doctors that make weekly visits. When my aunt was living at home by herself, she was losing weight and slightly lethargic. Moving to AB when she was 90 has made a world of difference. Very soon after moving there she was back to a reasonable weight and active. The calendar of events at AB is full, starting right after breakfast and going all day. They play bingo, have horse races, listen to music, exercise, have snacks and have people come in to entertain them. Socialization with her peers has proved to be so very important to her well-being and she is thriving! I truly believe that her life has been extended because of Above and Beyond.

If u are looking for a place for your family member definitely set up an appointment for a tour you will not be disappointed. I love my job and I love my residents and above and beyond is awesome

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Above and Beyond. Basima is an absolute angel. She helped our family immediately with just one phone call. My mom has dementia and needed emergency care. She took her right in and facilitated my dad also moving there. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. My mom and dad always look great when I go visit. The food is wonderful. The staff are constantly cleaning! The facility itself is decorated just beautifully! If my parents are sick or need medical attention...they are on it immediately! God was on our side the day I placed the call there and talked to Basima. My parents are in great hands and are treated with great care and love.
