Morrow Heights is a wonderful place. My mother was a resident there for just shy of 6 years and our family could not have had a better place for mom to call home. It says a lot that mom was very happy there. Everything about the facility is top notch. The building itself is inviting and well cared for. The staff are what make the place. They put in hard work and most importantly compassion into that work. The residents are well taken care of and are treated with respect. If any concerns arise, thoughtful attention is paid and acted upon immediately. From top to bottom and back again - the housekeeping & laundry staff, maintenance, dining room servers, kitchen, receptionists, activities director, med techs, care givers & their supervisor, business office, nursing manager, and lastly the facility director - everyone are a super thumbs up. I would highly recommend to anyone considering a placement for a family member. BRAVO Morrow Heights. Thank you for all you have done for my mother.

I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years, when it was time for me to find a place for my mom, I looked hard and long at the facilities here in the grants pass area. After several visits to several facilities over the course of a couple weeks and reviewing their surveys, I choose Morrow Heights. My mom has been there for several years now, she enjoys the outings they do, activities, ect. The staff takes great care of her, letting me if something happens, care conferences. I am happy with the decision I had made. BobB

Truly a caring environment! Love the staff there!

I would like to share my opinion and experience with Morrow Heights Assisted living center. My dad, lived at Morrow Heights for approximately 6 - 7 years. The management has changed in the time frame that my dad lived there, and in my personal opinion, has changed for the better of the facility, the staff and most important, the residents. I love my dad and wanted him to be in a safe and friendly, loving environment and treated right. A place where I wouldn't be constantly concerned that his needs were not being taken care of and not having to worry that he was being mistreated or neglected and that his needs were met without judgment. I needed this reassurance especially since I lived quite a distance away from him. I can tell you this, my dad was happy, he felt safe and loved like a family member by the staff at Morrow Heights. He told me several times the folks at Morrow Heights were fantastic and made him feel like he was part of their family. The Director Pam, is a fantastic person, she runs a very tight ship and has such a fantastic crew working at Morrow Heights. In my opinion, she is the right person in the right position ensuring that Morrow Heights is operating far above the standard expectations of families that have a loved one residing at this Assisted living facility. I was kept in the loop with all things regarding my dad. I felt reassured that he was definitely well taken care of especially when my dad himself would tell me that very statement. If there was a medical issue, or a medical appointment, I was notified. I was notified if he was having a rough day and even if he was having a fantastic day. I always felt like I was there because I was kept in the loop with what was going on with my dad. My dad recently passed away, I was immediately notified and was on my way to Oregon. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by Pam and several of the staff members. All of them giving me their condolences. They each told me how sorry they were and that they loved my dad and that he would be deeply missed. Pam and the staff had a beautiful memorial set up in the main entrance of Morrow Heights for my Dad. It made dealing with the loss of my dad very personal and I want to thank each and every one of them for the love, safety and concern that they expressed regarding my dad. I would definitely recommend Morrow Heights Assisted living to the people that have an aging parent and are looking for a home away from home for them. Thank you, Pam and the entire staff for loving and taking care of my dad. Brian Weston

I was very hesitant to have a family member be in assisted living due to past experiences with other centers. I can honestly say that I have been more than impressed with every aspect of Morrow Heights. The cleanliness of the whole center, the professional and caring staff to include the best cooked meals. I commend all of the staff who under the leadership of the executive director are doing the very best for our loved ones. From the time my family member entered Morrow Heights to the changing of the current director a few years ago there has been 100% improvement in all aspects. My loved one has since passed away and ALL of the staff made the transition so much easier with their caring and professional help. I would highly recommend this quiet and peaceful place for peace of mind of your loved ones.

I have visited many Assisted Living communities, working in Senior Living for most of my career. Morrow Heights is one of the most well kept, cleanest, and truly lovely communities. The staff are tenured and trusted by their little town in Rogue River. The Executive Director, Pam, is professional and compassionate to the residents and staff. Like Pam, many of the staff have worked there for many years. You can see the pride they take in their community by the way it presents and the way they greet every guest. Truly, one of the best.

Morrow Heights has been a great place for our mom who has lived there for the past 4 years. There are many activities to keep them busy. It's a very clean and cozy environment. I would recommend Morrow Heights to those looking for a comfortable and safe place for their loved one. Nice and clean with a great staff that cares about their residents.

My father resided at Morrow Heights for about 6 months, until his medical needs required a move to a next level care facility. While he was there, the administration was always available by phone or email, the medical staff was caring and attentive to his needs, everyone was so kind. Even after he left, the staff and friends he had made kept in touch, sending well wishes. We were very lucky to have connected with Morrow Heights in our search for an assisted living facility, would highly recommend!

The act of searching for an assisted living home for my mom was one of the hardest things I have ever had to do. I toured 4 places in Southern Oregon and hands down Morrow Heights was STEPS above the rest. Out of all 4 locations Pam (the administrator at Morrow Heights) was the only person to ask about my mom. She wanted to know who she was as a person, her personality, her likes and dislikes etc. Pam chatted with me for a good 45min. before I even got a tour. She didn't just look at us as another check coming in or a spot to fill. She genuinely cared about my mom AND about us as a family walking through this process. I got to then meet the staff and take a tour of the facility which was CLEAN both inside and out. The staff were so kind and seem to take great pride in their jobs. I learned that all of the staff had been working there for 5 plus years which says a lot about the leadership. Once I said YES Pam and her staff helped me in the next steps to getting my mom in. I had no idea what was all needed and Pam assured me they were there to help. Sure enough they helped make arrangements with the Inpatient Rehabilitation facility and made calls to get the meds my mom needed. They were such a huge blessing as I was packing up my moms things and making sure her new room/home was ready for her arrival. My mom has been living now at Morrow for over a month and she loves it. The care has been top notch and she is truly enjoys being there. We have visited several times and we honestly feel like family when we walk in. I can't say enough good things about Morrow Heights and the Staff.

I cannot have more positive things to say about Morrow Heights and the staff here. I recently discovered my dad's memory was not like it used to be and with him we decided he would be safer and thrive in an assisted living environment as opposed to living alone which was not a safe option. I tried contacting several locations in the Grants Pass area and did not find a good fit. One day in mid April I contacted Morrow Heights and spoke with Pam, the director here. She immediately helped me and we made an appointment to bring my dad to tour the place and within a week we were there meeting everyone and getting to know the facility. We immediately put a hold on the open suite and here we are into May and my dad is already settled in. This is a hard situation for me as it is for many families and I want to thank Pam, and the staff for treating my dad and I like family and making this process go as smoothly as possible. The facility itself is wonderful, clean and open floor space and just overall a positive environment. I can truly say I feel secure and confident that my dad will be thriving in this environment. Thank you again Pam and all staff at Morrow Heights!

I read TC’s comment and it is not the experience I have had. The friends recommended morrow Hieghts. I noticed TC said she was a child of a resident also a family member. She is not a natural relative of the resident. She is probably using this in another way. I feel this is very misleading to the general public they will no doubt think she is a real child of the resident, and it would influence their discussion to use Morror Hieghts. This gives Morror Hieghts a bad name also the religion she advertises she is part of.

I took a tour today with my mom. Pam was the nicest person, she was so understanding of my moms needs without me saying anything. The facility was extremely clean and every employee was nice, caring and professional. My grandma and a next door neighbor lived there throughout the years. The new management was well needed! I have to say thank you to the new management and all the staff for having compassion for our loved ones. Ive been looking around visiting places and this was the best Ive been to. Thank you everyone for the piece of mind!!

My sister and I visited a year ago this March. She had been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. We thought at one time we would need to place her in a home for recovery. However, the end came on very fast, she was unable to take care of herself. Morrow Heights was a blessing. They helped us move her in on February 4th. The entire staff was caring and supportive. Their constant vigilance to her needs along with the caring way of making her comfortable was amazing. We were blessed to have her in this home for her final days. I would recommend this home for your loved ones. The home is clean and well maintained. I thank the entire staff for the support and caring we received.

I just toured this building on behalf of my mother and father... I tell you what, this was an A1 experience. The staff was wonderful and the management crew was fantastic. They answered all my questions and then some. This is gonna be home for my parents. Big thanks to the director down there. Shes gone above and beyond! Kudos!

I personally have experience with Morrow Heights both before and after the recent change in management. Change is hard, no matter if it is with staff, management or residents. The recent change in management was long overdue. The new administration team is doing an incredible job, especially starting with the little they inherited. In the assisted living industry there are specific state mandated requirements that must be met to keep the residents healthy and living their best life. It can be a difficult and daunting job to take a facility that had been mismanaged for years and turn it around for the better. That is exactly what the new administration is doing at this time. I know from experience that the residents needs are placed first. Anyone on the administration team is happy to stop and provide any support, answer questions, offer a tour or just smile and chat. My suggestion is that anyone looking for placement of their loved ones take the time to meet and chat with the Executive Director. You will see that with her vision and guidance Morrow Heights will thrive and be the the best place for your cherished loved one. Dont let a few disgruntled employees sway you away from what may be the best Assisted Living in the Southern Oregon area.

This community feels like a comfortable home. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I would be happy to have my loved ones live here. Not what you would expect from an assisted living. Definitely a hidden gem in Rogue River.

The executive director is a great reflection of how a community needs to be ran, she has a kind and gentle demeanor yet she is real and up front in my opinion shes the perfect combination she has the biggest heart ( you can see it in her eyes when she talks ) and I know good people when I meet them. It is my understanding she is new in her role at Morrow Heights, i took some time to chat with the wonderful staff on duty while I was in visiting and I learned that in the short time she has been there she has made very positive strides to better the lives of the residents as well as making sure that the staff is taken care of from keeping their break room stocked full of snacks and drinks and frozen foods so they can pick their protein she also has had food catered in and brings coffees to the staff regularly.

I had the chance to tour this facility and noticed the very personal touch that the entire staff from Maintenance, Housekeeping, Management and everyone in between treated every Resident with. The facility is located in a very beautiful setting and seems very well maintained and managed.

My father stayed there for two months while my mother had heart surgery. Then both of them were there while she was recovering. My hat is off to the folks down there. Everything was amazing for them, the care staff, the food, and the management. Thank you for the great experience!

I had the pleasure of touring this community about 2 weeks ago, the staff were friendly and the build is clean and well kept. The ED was very welcoming and informative she made it the time I was there a great experience! I would definitely recommend this beautiful community not only for employment but for your loved ones to have a great place to call home as well! If you want a small town home like experience this is the place to go.

We thought for about 3 years that when my father needed to leave home, Morrow Heights would be the answer. When the time came, Morrow Heights kind of rushed him in with no proper evaluation - an evaluation which would have clearly shown my dad needed memory care and not assisted living. Once he was in there, their nurse told us he didnt belong there, that he was past their capabilities to help and we needed to move him immediately. Then the administrator told us they wanted to keep him there if possible. Conflicting messages all around. Our family was thrown into confustion for 2 months before we finally moved him to memory care. The aides and women who work with residents there are wonderful, always cheerful and kind. We had no issue with that. Its just that our dad should not ever have been accepted there in the first place. Its a great place for those who can basically care for themselves. The food is great, its clean and well maintained, with activities and such. Everyone there loved my dad and tried to help him, it just was not the place for him to be.
