I visited all memory-care facilities in and around Corvallis before picking Conifer House for my Mom. She previously was in memory care in the Midwest, and I knew I was looking for a friendly, family-oriented, home-like setting. Conifer House seemed like the best match, and I was not disappointed. I recently spent several nights in my Mother's room as her health declined and she passed away. That was an opportunity to get to know the staff personally and observe up close the skilled and compassionate operation of the facility. I highly recommend Conifer House as a place where your loved one can live with purpose, dignity, and care.

Conifer house has been a great new experience for me. I have never worked in a assistant living before and everyone was really nice and welcoming. I see all the residents everyday. Conifer House Memory Unit, my mother's home since Sept 2021, is much different than what I expected when deciding to move her from independent living into a more secure situation. A bit skeptical at first, I've since found that Conifer House is a real home, where the employees really do care about Mom's well-being. They engage her in activities as well as looking after her. Oh, and the food is great! They treat her so well, that I often think to myself, "If I ever suffer from severe cognitive decline, I want to live at Conifer House!" Mom is happy living there. A truly amazing place.

Making the decision to move my husband into a memory care facility was a very difficult and emotional decision. Conifer House has been great for my husband. He can join his friends for meals. I have worked for many care facilities in the past and I always refer this facility to my residents when they are leaving the other facility. This place tries to provide enough staff for every shift, and they are constantly getting new workers. It is kept clean and sanitized, and is always making itself better. While it is not the best it could be it is the beat facility I have had the pleasure of working in. The care staff actually care for the resident's and the leadership is getting better.

Since starting at Conifer house I have seen stellar care for our seniors, excellent teamwork, and improvement in quality of life for the residents. My mother has been in memory care at Conifer House for about 2 years. This is the second facility she has been in, and it is wonderful. The caregivers are so kind and loving. It is not unusual to drop by and find staff interacting with the residents. In addition the food is really good! My mother cleans up her plate which is very different from the other facility where she continuously complained about the food. For memory care residents who are still capable the facility provides outings and bus rides just to get out and see the spring flowers or fall colors. I really can't say enough good about Conifer House.
