As a volunteer for Furry Friends my dog Jack and went to all the facilities in Coos Bay, Coquille and Myrtle Point. When I needed to find assisted-living for my mama I knew that Ocean Ridge was the place I wanted her to be! From the first contact the Marketing Director was very attentive to all my requests for all the details. She answered all of my questions in a very timely fashion. Covid 19 prevented me from visiting Mama, so when a job opened up to be a driver to take residents to their doctors appointments and different errands I “unretired” so that I could visit Mama anytime. Since then I have worked with the staff and watched how each of them pitch in to help whenever it’s needed. The caretakers and the med techs are so dedicated and kind to all the residents.The door to the Executive Director is always open and residents feel free to come in and talk with her about anything that they need to. I have been honored to help residents in small ways and learn about their lives, they make me feel so appreciated! I would highly recommend this assisted living facility for anyone!

Ocean ridge is such a wonderful place! The residents and staff are one in a million! I have never worked at a facility that has cared so much about residents and each other! They truly care about their residents and make that extra mile to make them happy. We are one huge family and residents are a humongous bonus to working here! It is rewarding and a super loving environment.

When we were faced with the need to place my parents in an Assisted Living facility over ten years ago, Ocean Ridge was like a beacon of hope compared to other places that were available at the time. Its a beautiful facility and the staff members are very caring and have become like family. My father passed away a year and a half ago, and the staff has been very loving, supportive, and attentive to my mother since his passing. She absolutely loves it there and has made some wonderful friends. I cant say enough good things about Ocean Ridge Assisted Living!

To all who are looking for a loving home for seniors, this is it. Myself and my son spend time at Ocean Ridge weekly with our friend Patsy. During our visits we have found many friends, not only other residents, but staff as well.There are many activities for the residents, games, music, shows, gardening, bird watching, crafts and outings. This enriches the lives of all who dwell there.Gabriel and I find ourselves involved with many of the residents, whether its just to be in conversation, or sometimes in fun banter. Ocean Ridge gives their residents the feeling of accomplishments, and involvements which enriches their lives.There is nothing more important than to know your senior family member is respected and cared for by professional and loving staff. Ocean Ridge gives more than just a place to live, they give a community to grow and thrive.

Ocean Ridge was there when my mom needed somewhere to have plenty of socializing after many years of taking care of my dad in his final years. Ocean Ridge helped my mom get back on her feet with a life that allowed her to become stronger and stable enough to learn the ukulele, Hawaiian dance, performing, leading exercise, volunteering to help organize and assist any way she could. The staff and administration helped my family when we needed help getting through difficult times when moms health began to fail and we didnt know how to support her. Moms life was so full of people, activities, outings, hair appointments, tons of live music and learning opportunities. She had a beautiful apartment and wonderful food to eat. The menu varied and choices were always available. Ocean Ridge was always on the positive side and a comfort to mom as well as us. Even the little details were noticeable and always appreciated like fresh flowers on the dining tables, decorations on all holidays, transportation in style to various places including medical appointments. The facility is well maintained and extremely clean. Staff are helpful as well as professional. The Life Enrichment coordinator is spot on with things to do and be part of- she takes a personal interest in each resident and works to give everyone things to enjoy. She provides a time to have fun not matter physical abilities like bean bag baseball, bingo, happy hour, arts and crafts. Im forever grateful for the life my mom had and the importance she felt living there. Thank you for being apart of hers and our lives. Can never say enough about the love we all felt.

My parents moved into Ocean Ridge shortly after they opened over ten years ago. They were made to feel at home right away, the staff understanding that it can be a hard transition and doing everything they could to help with that process. To this day the staff continues to operate as if the residents are their family, caring for their needs, being their friend , and loving on them through all of life's ups and downs. Thank you Ocean Ridge staff - you are the greatest!!

Ocean Ridge is outstanding. If you need a place for a loved one do them a favor and check this place out. The staff from the top down are extremely helpful and will do all they can to make the move as painless as possible. I had to make an emergency move for my dad as he couldnt go home from an unexpected surgery. These folks made it possible within a very short timeline. The administrators are there to guide you though all the hoops. And the care staff are simply wonderful. They made my 91 year old dad feel welcome, helped him thru his confusion and were a constant voice of encouragement. If you need a place you really need to look here. There is no way to express how pleased our family is with Ocean Ridge! Our mom did not want to leave her home, garden and Christmas lights. Strongly independent and intelligent but becoming increasingly in need of help we knew something had to be done. We researched all the possibilities in the area. Ocean Ridge was the best! The care residents receive is wonderful! The entire staff, beautiful apartments, activities galore and genuine concern for each resident is unbelievable! At first mom rebelled but now she loves her new home and so do we! Thank you Ocean Ridge!

My mom and step-dad (James and Barbara Green) absolutely love Ocean Ridge. At first, they were hesitant of going into what they called a home, but after they took a tour, a herd of elephants couldnt pull them out of there. Although they do not always like the food (not easy to please all the residence), they love their friends, the staff, the events and the security. Thank you, Ocean Ridge for being a great group of people to my parents.

I love this place. I have lived here for going on 5 years, (I think). I can't remember when I moved in. I feel that this is my home. The staff is so helpful and friendly. We have so much to entertained. If you have a family member or even yourself, come check us out. You'll feel welcomed as soon as you walk through the doors.

We had good friends that called this place home. It's a well organized, beautiful facility. The staff is competent and friendly. The Activities Director does an outstanding job of providing interesting and fun social events that give the residents lots of choices to keep busy. Highly recommend!
