They pay nursing stuff including CNAs excellent money. Quite a bit of drama high school clicks. Talking behind your back and spreading rumors. High turn over rate. Communication is all over the place. No airflow (smell of feces the moment you walk in) When you call in, you get hounded. Call in sick cause of a sick kid, they reply "what would you have done otherwise?" If you speak up they let you go.. COVID policies/protocols/infection control contradict itself. Management hounds them if seen with their eye wear down. Residents still cannot and have not been able to eat in the dinning room. Even though 95% of the staff and residents are vaccinated. The hospital doesn't have staff in N95s or eye wear. They have relaxed a little while this place stays. 3 years in and it appears it may never go back to normal for the residents.

People we're wonderful but no air cirulcircul. It was heavy and dense air in the facility. It felt unsanitary due to the oders and lack of fresh air.

My experience at Avamere has come from the perspective of once being an employee and resident. The food is outstanding the care was good ,but I also came here knowing what to expect .please if you choose Avamere do not expect service like at the hospital because you will not get it these people work real hard and the ratio is 7to 1 so be patient help will come. The staff is real friendly and professional if you give them a chance.
