Our father has been at The Oaks for about 3 months. His rehab has been fantastic and he is infinitely stronger than when he entered. The staff has been extremely helpful and understanding. They have taken wonderful care of him and he has gotten to the point where he can now go to assisted living. I cannot recommend them more highly!!

I wish I could give this facility more than 5 stars. My grandmother was there and she received the best care! From nursing, all the way to the housekeeping, everything was amazing. The staff is so caring and really takes the time to know and love your people, the food is great, and the activities are awesome. I would never recommend a facility other than this one, and anybody who is looking for a place for their loved one; you would make the right decision by choosing this one!

From the little things to the big ones, the staff goes above and beyond every single day to make her feel loved, comfortable, and truly at home. They play her favorite music during lunch and dinner, which brings her so much joy, and they always make sure she gets to participate in activities she enjoys. One of the most touching things is seeing the messages they leave on the whiteboard in her room”simple reminders that they love her, but they mean everything to our family. Knowing she is surrounded by people who genuinely care about her well-being gives us such incredible peace of mind. My mother has been a resident of the Oaks at Bethesda for 18 months. All staff at this facility are very caring and at times seem almost like our family. Mom enjoys the activities and all the parties and extra activities that are planned throughout the day. She enjoys the food and Happy Hour each Friday with a musician for an hour. Having her hair washed and styled on site is another favorite of hers. My family feels so fortunate to have mom being taken care of by such a caring staff. The Oaks truly feels like a second home for our family. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes everyone feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. They’ve been incredibly accommodating”especially when we reserved a room to host a birthday party for my grandmother’s great-grandchildren. I can’t say enough good things about how thoughtful and supportive they’ve been. Knowing my grandmother is surrounded by such nurturing and friendly staff gives me real peace of mind when I can’t be there. The activities department also does an amazing job creating fun and meaningful experiences for residents and their families. Staff were all so sweet & helpful, from the nurses to the housekeepers. My room was kept immaculate daily, they even set up my shower area for me, laid towels down on the shower floor so I wouldn’t slip, put my necessary hygiene items on the shelf for me, etc. They went above & beyond to make sure every one of my meals were made correctly & gave me so many choices. I hope if I ever need medical assistance again that it will be here again!

If you or a Loved 1 needs to go somewhere for some extra care, long-term or short, life i highly recommend this place i NEVER want to go anywhere else!! I was blessed to have my mom living at The Oaks for the last years of her life. The staff to patient ratio enables them to provide excellent care of their residents. They encourage residents to participate in activities. There is a wide variety of activities available. They have activities outside of the facility which are accessible to residents regardless of their mobility. There is low turnover in staff and the staff truly love the residents. My mom fully enjoyed life despite her health/mobility issues thanks to The Oaks.

This facility is the most wonderful facility I know. They do so much for everyone. They treat my mother like family . She’s been mom and grandma to the the girls. One girl bought my mother a pair of Hey Dudes and she loves them. She won’t part with them. She loves the girls. They are all wonderful. If I ever live the age of my mother, I want to live here. I am amazed at how my Mom has changed while at The Oaks. Every day I walk in, I get a report before I see her. I've "caught " her walking down to dinner with the girls and she was laughing, talking and smiling!!! I felt so proud to see this, it's a huge accomplishment! The entire staff is so friendly and helpful to both of us. They provide excellent care with getting her showered and out of her apartment and make it fun. I'm very happy with the changes that I see. I still panic when they call, lol, but keeping me informed on med changes and such is important. I'm very happy to becoming her daughter again instead of her nurse. I'm VERY pleased with having my Mom in your care. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!!

I had a very unexpected stroke at a rather young age(57) and went to the Oaks to recover. I wish i could give this review more than 5 stars. The facility is nice enough; it’s the people who work there that exceed expectations. I was really scared to be there, those fears were resolved my first day. I cannot praise the folks who took care of me enough. Everyone was kind and compassionate and helped me get better. I’m home after a week of care, and so glad to be able to come home and maintain my independence. I don’t think I could have. Without the therapy I received at The Oaks of Bethesda.

Above and beyond staff... EVERY SINGLE DEPARTMENT. Medical care, Physical and Occupational Therapy, Nurses and Techs, Dietary, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Administrative, Activity staff.... All A+. This is absolutely the best assisted living facility in the six County area surrounding Muskingum County..... the staff is friendly courteous attentive always looking out for the residents needs and making sure the family is included in all the experiences that they provide for the residents..... my mom loves it there and particularly appreciates one of her nurses Ashley.... I love that this place feels like home! It’s decorated for the seasons, activities for all to get involved and the staff treat the residents like family! They meet the medical needs of residents, but more importantly the psycho-social aspects of life that make their residents LIVE!

My mother has been a resident since September of 2023. To say she loves it there would be an understatement. Keeping her busy is a difficult task, but at The Oaks she looks forward to the different activities on the schedule daily. The socialization she experiences is also integral to her well-being. She considers many of the other residents as family. Additionally, I cannot say enough good things about the staff. They are caring, concerned, and professional. The care they all provide is TOP SHELF.

The staff for the most part are very nice, but the experience overall is bare-bones. Basic things like charging cords for phones or even help spending their money on ordering things online is not there. If you don't have family frequently visiting and giving you things, you'll be sitting in a roon or hospital bed 99% of the time. In 2024 you would expect a bit more even out of services for very old residents.

My mother has been in different care facilities - the Oaks at BETHESDA is by far one of the best!! The staff is very caring, helpful, positive and friendly. The food is great and there are lots of activities for residents to enjoy. On the rare occasion there is an issue, it is resolved quickly and effectively. She is being well cared for and it has been a positive experience for us.

I wish I could rate this place higher than 5 stars! When I was told I would be going to a Nursing Home Rehab and I would be given a list of places to choose from I chose The Oaks at Bethesda 1st due to the 5 star rating and wonderful reviews. My Daughter and Granddaughter asked online if their Mom Gma was going to a facility where would you have them go? All responded The Oaks! Well I got my wish and was taken to my new temporary home I was so depressed I stayed in my room which was very tastefully decorated only going out to therapy and back. I eventually met a couple Residents and would mingle a little that was short lived as I would meet more and more unfortunately I didn't venture out much till a few days before being discharged, I cannot express how Wonderful The Oaks at Bethesda is I HIGHLY recommend to you or anyone needing short or long term Care, the Staff was simply the most caring loving friendly helpful People I have ever met all of them!! They truly enjoy their jobs! I write this say this about everyone of them the Nurses, Doctor, Techs, Cleaning Staff, and the Kitchen the Food was absolutely Delicious it wasn't what you expected or what I expected the bland ol terrible tasting food it really was great Again I cannot express the way this place is ran and by the Staff the gratitude I have for them! The Office Personnel, the Therapy staff, the Activity Staff the things that they plan and do is Above and beyond any of my expectations well I rambled enough but please if you ever need make this place your 1st choice you will NOT be Sorry!

Our experience at the oaks at Bethesda has been nothing but wonderful,they took care of my parents as if they were their own family,the entire staff is willing to go above and beyond to make sure everyone is cared for properly. No one wants to leave their long term home but sometimes it just isn’t safe to be there,the oaks at Bethesda makes that decision easier and gives you peace of mind. My grandmother, Barbara, is an assisted living resident. While unhappy to leave her home, she’s loving the staff and full life she’s still able to life thanks to the Oaks. They thoughtfully threw her a 91st Barbie themed birthday party and she was as happy as a teenager! Great folks who truly care about their residents!

I visited my brother here many times while he lived during his rehabilatation. He was a resident once after a stroke and once after surgery. The staff is efficient and professional. The rooms and public areas were always clean and comfortable.
