Brookdale’s Clinical and Therapy Teams ARE AMAZING! They always go above and beyond for their patients and families. They are NOT a Nursing Home, but a rehab facility to get your loved ones back on their feet to GO HOME!

My father has lived in independent living at Brookdale - Westlake, Ohio for about 7 years. This facility is of the same high quality as it was when he arrived here 7 years ago. I'm pleased by the consistent high quality and genuine kindness of all the staff at Brookdale - Westlake. The food (especially the soups) is great. The residents are friendly. My dad's apartment is very spacious. The residents seem happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend this facility.

I love working at Brookdale Rehabilitation and skilled Nursing. So many friendly co workers, and appreciative residents. It's a nice break from always working in Long term care. I would recommend it to anyone seeking a job in the Nursing field. Thank you Brookdale!

I was admitted to Brookdale in 11-18 when I required physical therapy for a broken leg. I was in the facility 2 months and the therapy was outstanding. I required therapy during the month of March 2021 and did not hesitate to return to Brookdale Westlake Village. The therapy staff worked with me to improve my mobility, using their knowledge and skills.The nursing staff was very caring and very supportive during my stay at Brookdale. All around a good place to heal.

I came to this community to visit and tour. Very clean and the staff were very nice. Mike and Eric from dining were very nice, professional and knowledgeable. They offered us lunch and the lunch was delicious. The residents all look happy. I would definitely recommend this place

The staff made our mother and her identical twin feel so welcome and connected them right away with other SRs who had similar hobbies (painting). Our mother and Aunt had a wonderful experience there. They made so many other accommodations for us when our mothers hospice care started which made a tough situation so much easier to deal with. Our very large family had a number of really fun gatherings for their birthdays and even a few Sunday get together in The PUB that worked out great, so mom could host all of her kids and not have to travel somewhere. We cant thank the Westlake Village staff enough for being so nice and really taking care of our mom and Aunt!

My mom started her journey in the Independent Living section of Westlake Village and we loved our time there. My mom made so many friends here and each neighbor was better than the next. My mom was very nervous moving here because my dad has just passed away, but the staff there set my mom up with other residents to help mom mom get acclimated. Mom's needs increased and we were sad to leave her IL apartment and apprehensive to move to assisted living but what makes this move easier is that its on the same campus. My mom has the option to continue to see her IL friends and some have moved with her to this environment. The nurses and caregivers have all been great and really make each person feel special. You can really tell that the staff loves what they do, they are so happy. The management team is always present and willing to listen. The activities on campus are many, residents can go on bus trips, shopping and out to eat. My family loves Westlake Village and are so happy with our decision to move my mom here!

We toured Brookdale Westlake Village. Everything was very nice. The bathrooms were very accommodating for the disabled. Everything was accommodating as far as I'm concerned. They did have two-bedroom and two-baths, and we want to get into that. The staff, who accommodated us, was very good. I enjoyed her very much. She was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. One of the things we like about the community is that they have Catholic Mass. They have a restaurant, which is is very elegant and very nice. I enjoyed the meal. You can order off a menu for your meals.

The nursing home of Brookdale Westlake Village was excellent. The staff was very good, and the rooms were very clean and well maintained. They had a lot of activities. I highly recommend them. The place was big, and the layout was in sections. It was continuing care, so they had three different buildings all connected together. The skilled nursing's dining room was pretty basic, the assisted living's dining room was bigger, and independent living's dining was even bigger. They had a church there, which my mom liked. It was a very good place.

My 87-year-old mother was in the skilled nursing facility after a horrible car accident. The nurses and aides were kind, professional and very attentive to her needs. My mother, a former RN herself, was impressed with the care she received and especially with the physical and occupational therapy she received. My siblings and I were impressed with the dedication of every employee we encountered. No request we made was ever denied and they made us feel very welcome. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone in need of skilled nursing care. Our experience over the two months mom was there was very positive.

Brookdale Westlake Village is well cared for. They have a wonderful staff. They have all three levels of care there. They have therapy onsite. My parent is in personalized living, so thats nice. They have nice activities. The staff is very friendly. Theyre very good. Theyre very attentive. The rooms are all updated and new. When theres anything wrong, the repair people attend to it right away, so thats good.

Brookdale Westlake Village (Formerly Westlake Village) was pleasant, comfortable, and cheerful and they had friendly staff. My parents will be moving in the spring. The rooms were very roomy, larger than other places we looked at. I would recommend them. There was a lecture going on in one of the rooms. There were a few people in the dining area having lunch, and they looked good. The gym was nice and larger than the other places, but no pool. It's also closer to family.

I just felt that the people at Brookdale Westlake Village were very nice, and the facility was very beautiful and brand new, so it was a nice experience. We didn't get into it a whole lot, but they have activities everyday going on where they involve the residents, so they have stuff going on everyday for them. It had a nice, open concept -- a nice big open area, nice comfy living room that was nice and big, and a nice big kitchen-dining area. It was just a very homey feel.

I went to visit Brookdale Westlake Village, and I like everything about the place except that it was too expensive for me. They do have many activities, but I dont like their activities really. I am not interested in games; I dont like cards. I also dont like the view from the window; it just looks out into a parking lot. I like to have a look at a grass or a little river or something like that, but it's still a beautiful place inside.

Westlake Village is a very nice facility. Their staff is very friendly. They're more intelligent and educated than a lot of the people I deal with. I just really like their enthusiasm, and theyre caring towards the people that lived there. My mom's a retired school teacher, Porter library is a big deal in her life, and they have a bus that goes out weekly. The Porter Library also comes to the facility once a month with books, and my mom too enjoys that. They will drive my mom to go visit her sister that's in the dementia ward in another facility. They will take her anywhere she needs to go for shopping. They have art activities; they have an art room, and my mom is also an artist so she enjoys that. They have a book club, and there are other activities that go on that my mom does not partake.

Westlake Village was nice. The woman we met was very nice. She gave us a tour of the property, and it seemed like it would be a good environment for my father. However, it was out of our price range.
