My Mom was at Arden Courts for just under 4 months, but I am eternally grateful to this facility and the staff for supporting her and also me for some of the most difficult months of both of our lives. I am my Mom's only child, she had been living with me prior to placement, so making the move to memory care and entrusting her care to others was a challenge for me. Laura took so much time with us and truly made the process as seamless as it could be. The care staff never ceased to amaze me with their attention and genuine caring and support of the residents. I spent many hours in the facility for weeks particularly as my mother's health declined, and was able to observe many interactions with residents and staff, I was impressed time and time again. They coordinated well with hospice to ensure her comfort. I want to express my deep appreciation to Arden Courts for their dedication to their residents.

It's a very daunting task when you need to find a facility for your loved one. Emotions are running high and you want the best of the best. This is how I felt when looking for a memory care facility for my mom. I knew she needed a higher level of care then what she was receiving at her assisted living facility. I could no longer trust her own evaluation of herself. That is a hard pill to swallow when you have to completely trust the people that are taking care of your loved one. Arden Court of Westlake was the best decision that I made for my mom's care. From the very first time I met Laura, I felt I was finally being heard. She knew how I was feeling, and she came to the table with solutions to our many issues. The facility itself has a very homey feeling. I absolutely love the fact that the residents are not confined to a certain part of the building. There are always eyes and ears around to make sure that the occupants are safe and sound. The caretakers are literal angels on Earth. It takes a very special kind of person to do this job, a job that I could never do. The nursing staff was amazing to work with and communicated very efficiently. Not only did they take care of my mom, but they treated her with respect and gave her the dignity that she deserved. Although my mom was only there for 4 months, it was the hardest 4 months of her life. From pain management to hospice to just love and care, this wonderful place took care of it all, including us, her daughters. We were able to be there 24 hours a day for the last week of her life. I cannot express how much I recommend Arden Court of Westlake.

What can I say about Arden Courts? A lot! The facility itself is so clean, cozy and homey feeling. The staff, caretakers and nurses are all so friendly and helpful and are truly angels on earth. I feel so fortunate that my mom was able to receive the care she did from people who undeniably cared about her. They were so wonderful to our family as well and helped us out tremendously during our time of need. I don't think I could ever thank them enough for all they did. I know choosing a memory care facility can be challenging and scary, but trust me when I say you will have no fears with Arden Courts of Westlake. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all so much for everything!

I can not recommend Arden-Courts of Westlake enough! Not only did the staff take exceptional care of my mom, but they were also there for our entire family when things were difficult. The caregivers are INCREDIBLE and go above and beyond to provide top-notch and genuine care. It can be difficult to trust strangers with the care of a loved one, but before long, the staff transitioned from strangers to friends, even family; people I trust and rely on. If you are looking for memory care in the Cleveland area, I highly recommend Arden-Courts of Westlake.

I lost my mom 2 weeks ago. While she was only at Arden Courts 4 short months, it was a wonderful experience. We chose Arden Courts for its "homey" atmosphere and the feeling of being a part of a family. The staff doesn't just take care of the resident, but the whole family. They genuinely care about each person that goes through the difficult journey of having a loved one with cognitive decline. In my mom's final days, they were so supportive of my family. In a place where there is so much sadness, there is also so much kindness, compassion and joy. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my mom! You will always hold a special place in my family's heart.

My wife has been a resident at Arden Courts for nearly two and a half years. During that time her care has been exceptional. She is well cared for by the staff and whenever there are any concerns, they are promptly addressed. I am also notified promptly if there are any issues. No matter what a particular staff member's role is, they are all committed to care and know every resident's name. I'm sure Covid had an impact on staffing, but over past few months, staffing appears to have stabilized. The facility is very clean and menus are changed often. Our family is pleased with the care at Arden Courts.

My dad and 5 siblings absolutely love Arden Courts. I am a RN myself so I was very leary about putting my mom in another facility since we removed her from one close by.Well let me tell you we couldn't be happier with Arden Courts. The care was like family. The a tivities superb, and the food was wonderful..Thank you Arden Courts for giving our mom such good care!

Moving my aunt to Arden Courts was the single best decision we have made concerning her care. When we first started looking at options for her, we were drawn into the beauty and "sparkle" of the new Vitalia in North Olmsted. At that time, her dementia was starting but was not glaringly obvious or a large concern for us. She was one of the first residents to live there as they had just opened. Yes, it was gorgeous and the food was good. That is where the positive things end. The rapid decline we saw in her in the couple of months she was there was unreal. I got calls at all hours of the night, screaming and crying that she's been left in the bathroom for an hour, that she hasn't eaten all day because her door is so heavy she can't leave her room, that she has been yelled at, the list goes ON AND ON. It was just awful. We briefly considered their memory unit when we realized she needed much more personalized care, but found out that they use the same employees as the regular housing side, which almost entirely consists of temporary employees who don't know anything about the residents. We were told they had specially trained staff to deal with memory issues; that is a flat out lie. We have four young children and I was feeling like I was being torn in half trying to be there with her but also home to care for my family. ENTER ARDEN COURTS. They have 100% changed my aunt's life and my life in the process. I could physically see the change in her in just a week. She was clean, her hair was washed, she was dressed, she was SMILING and making jokes and whistling like she used to everyday. Having been a nurse for many years, they have given her many "responsibilities" around the building so she truly feels needed, included, and like she has a daily purpose. She is never in her room watching tv, she is always in activities or walking laps. As a result of her happiness and overall positive mental and physical health, I have been able to start visiting her instead of stepping in to fix extremely heated situations. I take my kids up to see her and we are treated like family, everyone jumping to help us carry things to the back. Every employee knows her by name, understands her quirks and needs, and handles any situation with other residents that I have noticed with the grace and kindness they deserve; exactly the way you hope your loved ones will be treated. I am forever grateful to Arden Courts for literally giving her a second wave of life. She was depressed beyond recognition, unwashed, miserable, and unhealthy at Vitalia. She is thriving, full of joy, active, and so happy at Arden Courts. Please do not make the same mistake we did and fall for the physical beauty of a place - it is the care, the history of the business, and the loving people who work there that make it the right choice.

The staff is tremendously caring to the residents and their families and the activities are great for engaging their minds and hearts. We feel very fortunate to have found Arden Courts of Westlake. I am a travel nurse and spent twelve weeks working at this facility. This was one of the best experiences I have ever had! I came in at a difficult time to help during Covid. Prior to coming here I really was debating not continuing in nursing. I have been a nurse for 16 years. I came to Arden Courts and was welcomed with open arms. The staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful. They gave amazing care to the residents and their families. They also treat each other with kindness. It was rare to see. It has restored my faith in the care residents can get in a facility. Thats whats important. They are truly loved at Westlake Arden Courts. I am so grateful for those I was lucky enough to care for, the team I was able to work with daily and the overall peace of working in such a special place. I will never forget them.

My mother has been a resident of Arden Courts of Westlake for over two years and we couldnt be happier with the loving, personal, attentive care she has received. Staff are fully engaged and helpful even when dealing with the stresses inherent in working at a memory care facility. While they kept coronavirus out of the facility for a very long time through good hygiene, proper precautions and intelligent planning it eventually found its way in. They reacted with great communication with families and continued to provide the best atmosphere possible for the residents. Now that COVID has left the facility they continue to take precautionary measures to keep the residents safe, and for that we are appreciative.

Placing our loved one in a memory-care facility was extremely hard to do but the staff at Arden Courts helped make it easier for all of us. The residents have daily activities to engage in, tasty, nutritious meals, a clean and safe environment and caregivers who treat them with warmth and respect. My family has peace of mind (especially now with Covid-19) knowing hes being so well taken care of. I would highly recommend Arden Courts of Westlake.

Our family has been extremely happy with the care provided by Arden Courts to our mother. Across the board, the staff has been very caring and conscientious. They treat our mother and us like we are all family. They are wonderful people, and we always feel comfortable talking with them about our mother and her needs. They are very responsive to both the physical and emotional needs of our mother. In addition, the nursing staff does a great job of staying on top of our mothers medical needs. I would recommend Arden Courts in Westlake without hesitation.

We have had a wonderful experience at Arden Courts in Westlake, Ohio. The staff is very caring, the facility is clean, and meals are nutritious. Nurses are on site and theres no need to schedule outside appointments for routine exams (as the doctor visits weekly). Also, the administration is simple - one monthly fixed rate is billed (no additional layers), all medications may be delivered to the location, and they rebill the medical claims. As an added perk, theres a hairdresser on-site. Finally, this is a one floor facility with a beautiful outdoor area, which the residents enjoy.

My mother had a severe case of dementia and I could not have been happier with the care she received. The administration was very quick to deal with any issues that arose and communication was great. The caregivers are kind and compassionate. I would definitely recommend Arden Courts to anyone.

From the administrative front office to caregivers, the attentiveness to quality resident care is excellent. Our mom is content, happy and very well cared for. Prior to committing to Arden Court, we researched several Memory Care facilities and we definitely made the right choice.

Arden Court of Westlake has been amazing for the past couple years that my grandmother has been there, they have gone above and beyond to ensure all her needs were met or exceeded. Whether it was helping with getting Hospice setup or providing extra support when her health began to decline. My mother was there several times a week and had a great relationship with the Staff in charge of my grandmother's care, additionally when I would visit the Staff knew exactly who I was and made sure my visit was upbeat and positive. We would spend time in the Family Room or the Dining Room with the other residents laughing and sharing stories.Sadly, we had to move my grandmother to a Facility that provided more Progressive Care as her health has declined. If I'm ever in need of an Assisted Living Facility in the future I would definitely look to Arden Courts of Westlake 1st! Thank you Arden Staff for your kindness and professionalism while my grandmother was there.
