[name removed], The maintenance supervisor, continuously spreads false statements about subcontractors. he has no problem going behind peoples backs to make false statements in order to try to advance his position with the upper management. He has made false statements to the staff and management many times and has gone as far as to take work that was scheduled for subcontractors away from them.

The community here is amazing and mom has had wonderful care. She was on hospice for over a year and improved so much she is being taken off hospice. The nurses and aides have gone above and beyond. Activities are fun and engaging for the residents. I would highly recommend this senior community for independence as well as assisted living.

We recently moved our parents from the second floor to the first floor an wanted to give everyone involved a big thankyou. We especially wanted to thank Dillon,Danny and Brian (the village maintenance team ) who went beyond the call of duty to make the move go very smooth. Thanks again to everyone involved

I am exceptionally happy with the transition of getting my father into assisted living at The Village. We were able to begin the process over the weekend and he moved in on Monday. All staff were very helpful and kind. They thoroughly explained how the process works and simplified the experience for us. Dad is comfortable in his new room. The food is good and the staff continue to be attentive to his needs. My family recommends trusting your loved one with The Village.

My father recently passed, but he lived at The Village for about three years. My father spent about six months at another independant living place before The Village that was not good, so I have something to compare it to. I can't say enough good things about the people who work there from administration, to nurses, to support staff they are great people that do a difficult job exceptionally well. Even when I was not a nice person-advocating for an elderly parent is tough-they always responded patiently and with care. The emotional and medical care they gave my father made him feel cared for and not alone. I can't thank them enough for being there for him.

Due to unexpected circumstances we had to move my mother to assisted living in a very short period of time. The Village was wonderful in helping us achieve this. She’s been there since August and our experience has been nothing but positive! Her nurses are wonderful and have helped her settle in with ease. She loves them and gets very good care. I would absolutely recommend!

I was very impressed when visiting there albeit a short time. Its clean and spacious and the layout for the residents is very nice. It has a very cozy (home) feel to it but not overdone. The staff I dealt with (Mara) was very friendly and courteous. She seems to love what she does and continues her education as to help current ( and incoming) resident's with their different health issues.

My father needed to transition to Assisted Living, and we chose The Village of Westerville for him. During the final months of his life, they provided him the care he needed. Mara was absolutely incredible for my brother and me, and she made the admission and departure process so easy for us. I was incredibly thankful for Mara and the remainder of the staff there.

All of the staff (especially Mara and Jennifer) have been very friendly, helpful and caring to us as my husband's brother was transitioning from his private apartment of 20 years to living in a retirement community. Rayann is wonderful! She arranged a quick need for respite stay for my parents. I like that theres no pressure to commit and they do not charge extra for levels of care which can change rapidly. The entire staff is very attentive and friendly. Communication and updates from caretakers happens often without having to ask. Activities are lively and many residents participate. My parents liked the Meals a lot. I highly recommend this place.

My mother is a resident and I could not be more pleased with her care. The staff is loving and patient with both the residents and their families. And, this attitude is the same from the Director to maintenance and housekeeping. And the food is great!

My parents moved into the Retirement Center 7 years ago. They have wonderful staff, always get things done if there is a concern. They are so caring and were wonderful to us all when mom passed away 2 years ago. Dad is 95 and he can certainly give them a workout. Love The Village! My dad has been there 5 years. Great staff and Director The Annual Family Christmas Open House last night was amazing. Very special and magical. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was so special for the residents and loved ones. The Village Choir was fabulous. I feel so confident with my dad at the Village. It's home for him.

It is NOT common for a Home Health Care Company like Always There Home Care to review a senior living facility. But our experience with The Village at Westerville has been prolific. From the superior executive management of Ed Niper, to the top notch meals, to the careful selection of the best hands on care offerings for any assisted living facility we have seen in Columbus, we must tip our hat to this great team. There is something magical happening here, but as you meet the team you quickly realize why this is the best option for Assisted Living in Columbus, Ohio. The staff take great pride in their work, the care staff smile and are eager to provide care above the call of duty. Going the extra mile for residents starts at the executive level and absolutely is observed in the way the team here loves their residents and makes them feel special. As if that wasnt enough, the pricing is fair and the residents are thriving and are celebrated. You cant walk down the hallway without seeing hugs or smiles. We give this special place our highest marks for their teamwork and special care. It is remarkable to find a place where the team has half as much experience in the same building as this team has. Their head chef, custodial staff and reception team boast greater than 20 years experience. This results in excellent continuity and details that get immediate caring attention.

The Village is just the Best Retirement home. You will not find more caring people that work here. Making these residents happy is the staff's #1 goal. The food is very well prepared. I never worry about my Dad knowing he is very well cared for. Check it out. You will be glad you did.
