The staff are very nice and professional. The food is good. Residents are well taken care of as far as it depends on the employee. Sometimes they may need additional staffing. I would recommend Amherst Meadows for long term care, assisted living and short term rehab care. Families need to play a part in their family member’s life and advocate for them when needed.

We are very pleased with the care our father-in-law has received at Amherst Meadow Rehab Facility. The facility is clean, well-staffed, and offers plenty of activities to keep residents engaged. The nurses and staff are always friendly, attentive, and caring. He is happy there, enjoys the food, and always has what he needs. It's comforting to know he's receiving such a high level of care. We truly appreciate everything the staff does and would highly recommend Amherst Meadow Rehab Facility.

My mother has no complaints other than she’s always cold, she is 89 so that is very typical! Her roommate is always hot! The room is small but she still never complains because the staff is wonderful to her!

Having over a decade of experience working in this industry, I would like to share a positive review for this facility after my grandfather spent his final weeks here after a courageous battle against Parkinson’s Disease. He was initially admitted for rehab from an ED visit from home. I will admit the therapy equipment and services leave a lot to be desired if rehab is the goal. He unfortunately was admitted to hospice services and ultimately passed while at the facility. The nursing staff were wonderfully kind and helpful to my grandmother as she navigated this difficult transition. Would recommend this facility for end of life care if needed. As in all other facilities in this industry in the post-COVID world, the staff are doing the best they can with the resources they are given and the ones who show up to work and provide kind, compassionate care deserve to be commended and recognized!

Staff are genuinely caring of patients, always greeting my loved one with a warm hello and a smile... it means to much to us. The facility is nice and clean; the staff bring any concerns to my attention very quickly. The team did an amazing job taking care of my dad. I cannot say enough about them, especially Shannon who guided us thru the obstacle course so to speak. My dad needed physical rehab as well as suffering from memory loss and the team was fantastic with him. Even we he got a little grumpy! Thank you everyone for taking care of him. Highly recommended!

I wanted to take a moment to share my experience with Amherst Meadows and their incredible social worker, Shannon Spencer. She has been extremely responsive and consistently on top of every step of the process, making everything feel smooth, convenient, and easy. Shannon truly has a kind heart and an outstanding work ethic, which made a meaningful difference during my experience of a transfer to our community. I couldn’t be more appreciative of her. My family went to visit aunt Betty and she was taken care of by a nurse who we could tell cared. She was gentle and made sure Betty had what she needed. Most of the time places dont give that care people need especially going through sickness or even in Bettys case not much time left. Proud to see residents smiling and wanting to be there.

Had our first breakfast here this morning - the other residents were very welcoming and friendly as was the staff. Played group word game in activity room - lots of fun. Breakfast was very tasty. Also had very positive session with Occupational Therapist.

Stefan the aid and other staff were amazing. Highly recommended facility, my experience here was top shelves, everyone was friendly highly recommended this place to anybody. Therapy was great! The food was great! I would like to than Stefan and the other staff here for such an amazing experience, Stefan was amazing friendly and high end aid. Mr Marco aka my Stefan, is very energetic, happy , very great at his job. Well experience. He explains everything to to me so I know what he's doing, hes afraid of spiders but love his sweet, he knows how to have fun and makes my stay here at amherst meadows very pleasant. Highly recommend aid, very perfessional and cares about his job!! Therapy department is great as well, first impressions was outstanding, but I don't like the wall color!! This place is awesome!! Carla, Heather and crew are amazing!! We brought my Grandmother here ( for rehab) from another facility for better care and we could not be happier!! My Mom had a traumatic fall & has 4 broken ribs & 2 broken neck bones & is now in a neck brace for awhile. She was transported from the hospital to Amherst Meadows & so far everyone has been wonderful with her process of being admitted for Rehab. She has a long journey ahead for her healing process, but I know she'll be getting excellent care from the staff, who all seem very compassionate, caring & just want to help their patients get healthy and strong again. This was a great recommendation for our Mom's recovery program & comfort for our family. Thank you & Have a great day!! Teresa Lowers

My Mom's first day here and everyone came in and introduced theirselves and role in Mom's care. Mom went to dining area with all other residents and had a nice experience and enjoyed the stuffed pepper. She thought the flower arrangement on table was pretty. Room and bathroom were nice size.

The best place for your loved one to be if they need to be in a nursing facility the love and care they give for the residents is way above and beyond this place is more like a home and a family to these people and that's what they need! My grandma has been in the facility for a few months now and the transition from being home to this place has been amazing she is comfortable and very loved in there I'm so glad she is in such a nice place it was so hard for me accepting the fact that she had to come but she is happy there and that's what matters she was starting to need a lot more care with daily care and it was a hard choice to make when my mom and uncle had to make the decision of her having to be placed somewhere where they can be comfortable and to have trust where she was safe and very well taking care of! It's a very hard decision and very scary when that time comes when you have to make a decision like that but when you take tours and talk to staff and office people and they make u feel comfortable and answer all your questions and the facility has no smell and looks so clean you know you made the right choice!

We moved my Mom into Amherst Meadows in back in April. The staff is exceptional! Every nurse, aide, office assistant or administrator that we have come into contact have been patient with our questions and very helpful to work with. My Mom is in the assisted living wing and she likes her apartment. The staff sincerely cares for your family member.
