Our experience with Anthology of Mason has been outstanding. The staff are extremely kind and caring. They treat my parents like they are family. Everyone has been excellent. My parents have met a lot of new friends and are enjoying the activities. The facility is also first rate. If we had to do it again, we would definitely pick Anthology of Mason!

MY MOM HAS BEEN THERE SINCE 1-17-2021-THEY TAKE VERY GOOD OF HERE-SHE HAS BEEN IN ASSISTED LIVING AND NOW IS IN MEMORY CARE-THE NURSES ARE GREAT AT KEEPING ME UPDATED THE STAFF IS ALWAYS READY TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS I HAVE - I HAVE TEXTED DEBRA MANY SUNDAYS AND SHE ALWAYS GETS BACK TO ME.-I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR YOUR FAMILY MEMBER

My sisters and I are so thankful and grateful, that our 95 year old mom is with all the caring people at Anthology of Mason. Mom has been there for two years, and we have experienced nothing but competent, professional care. Every time we walk in the front door we feel like we are at "Mom's home". We are always greeted in a welcoming friendly manner, and have gotten to know so many of the staff that go way beyond to be helpful to us and all of the residents. Our mom is a little "slow" in the morning, and doesn't always get to breakfast in a timely manner. When she finally makes her way down to the lovely dining room, she is served her hot breakfast that they have been keeping warm for her. It's not something they would need to do - but they do! Exceptional! And then there's the Activity Center which always has entertaining, stimulating things to do! No friendlier, happier place exists due to the staff! And the Happy Hour is the place to be! The nurses and aides are so attentive, and really know the residents. Our mom was ill, and the expert medical attention she received kept her out of the hospital. And, the OT and PT staff is supportive and conveniently on site. We recommend this wonderful place to call home, to anyone seeking a professional family environment for their loved one.

My sister has been at Anthology of Mason almost 2 years. She was in assisted living until July 2022. Her time in AL was awesome. The staff and facilities are wonderful as was her care. She transferred to Memory Care in July of 2022. There’s always an adjustment period, but she is happy there and getting the care she needs. The staff is always responsive to anything I ask for her. What’s most important is that she is safe, happy and cared for.

Very happy with the way the staff treats my Dad. Recently moved him from Assisted Living to Memory Care and they were very helpful making the transition. And always there to listen to concerns, questions, or ideas that I have.

My dad lived in the dementia unit for just a couple months around August of 2018. It was very clean and the residents there were cared for very well. We all have a different journey when dealing with dementia. Ours was that my dad had hallucinations, delusions and psychosis on top of the short term memory loss. This place is beautiful, but it just wasnt the appropriate place for him. The Sheridan is better for persons that are pleasantly confused, rather than severe behaviors similar to my dad. They will tell you they can handle it (they all do), but few can. Look around. Do you see people whos behavior is like your loved one? If your loved one has severe behaviors or health issues and all you see are pleasantly confused residents...its not the right place. I wish I would have really examined it better. He was removed from the Sheridan (for kicking staff members while they held him down to change his depends) and was then placed in a geriatric psych facility. He was not accepted back and they really did not offer much assistance to find a new place for him to move after his meds were adjusted and he was ready to move to another facility. We did find a facility in Mason that fit him perfectly. And they had several patients there that had behaviors just like my dad. (Central Parke Alzheimers Care Facility) . Again, not to say The Sheridan was a bad place...there were several staff members that adored my dad. And he was as happy as he could be considering the circumstances.The were some staff members though, that did not understand, were not trained for the more severe behaviors, and I think a little more grace could have been given.

Recently moved my mother into the Sheridan and I cant say enough good things about it. From Debra, the move-in coordinator, who went above and beyond, even personally decorating my moms apartment because of the pandemic restrictions preventing family from entering the building, to Alli, the activities director phenom who has flooded my phone with reassuring texts and photos. Thank you Sheridan staff for making a stressful transition as smooth as possible - you exceeded my expectations!

My wife first experienced the care from The Sheridan when she participated in four hour stints in their respite care program. She is now there full time because the management and staff demonstrated just how good an operation they run. As the days wound down to her admittance and her illness took an ever more challenging turn, their thoughtful, compassionate and caring expertise showed and made the transition as smooth as possible. With the Covid-19 issues dominating the situation, they worked through the complexities with imaginative solutions to admit her in a record short period of time.

We recently placed my mom at The Sheridan in Mason and we have been nothing but extremely impressed. My mom has had dementia for over 8 years and can be very difficult to deal with when she is out of her element. The staff has been EXTREMELY patient in dealing with her and her anxiety of living in a new place. The apartment she is in is just beautiful--all state of the art and updated. The food is home made and pretty delicious. The entire staff is working so hard to make my mom feel at home and comfortable and I dont think we could have found a better place for mom. In addition, they have been unbelievable in keeping us updated on her progress (going above and beyond) and working with us to make my mom happy. Id give this place 10 stars if I could--it is that good! Update on 4, 14, 2020: My mom was at The Sheridan for almost 2 1, 2 years and we had a terrific experience! The staff is very caring and even though my mom struggled with her behavior at times and was by no means an easy resident, they loved on her like she was a family member. She started off in Assisted Living and when the time came, we moved her to the Memory Care Unit. She was well taken care of and any issues we may have had were taken care of as soon as it was brought to their attention. The nursing staff were so very loving, caring, and patient, and I appreciate the care they gave my mom more than I could ever express here. Thank you for all that you did for my sweet mom.

My Aunt moved in last year and has gotten the best care! Everyone is friendly and it feels like a big family. They always have tons of outings and activities. My Aunt enjoys socializing at happy hour everyday and the bands they bring in. Highly recommend.
