If I could give this place 10 stars, I absolutely would. My mother chose to make Primrose of Mansfield her home, and I truly believe it was one of the best decisions she ever made. She lived there for nearly two years until she went home to be with Jesus. I can't thank every member of the staff enough for the love, kindness, compassion, and dignity they showed her every single day. She absolutely adored the aides and genuinely enjoyed getting to know each of them. They weren't just caregivers”they became friends that were like family, and they always treated her like family. That meant more to her, and to those of us who loved her, than words can express. A special thank you to the Director of Nursing, Lindsay. She is an incredible leader, and it shows in every member of her team. Her staff are truly angels, and the culture of compassion she has created is evident throughout the entire facility. The community is always spotless, warm, welcoming, and feels like home. It is a true asset to our community. I will always be grateful for the exceptional care they gave my mother and would wholeheartedly recommend this facility to anyone looking for a place where their loved one will be genuinely loved and cared for.

My in-laws lived at Primrose; my mom lived at Primrose; and, my aunt lived at Primrose. The staff is super friendly and the building is super clean too. I’ve eaten there numerous times, and the food is delicious. The apartments are a very nice size and can be furnished and decorated however a resident prefers. Although I no longer have relatives living there, I still pop in to visit. I am always welcomed by employees and residents.

Almost 5 years ago after having a bad accident with a semi truck it became evident we needed to downsize and move where I would have more support in caring for my husband. We had done a lot of research on available services and decided on primrose. We initially chose a Villa and were very happy with that with great neighbors and quick access to the main house for a variety of programs, food and community events. When I became ill with Covid the staff was quickly moved to get my husband temporarily into the building for respite inside so I could remain in the Villa and rest while he received care for a couple weeks. Again just six months ago when my husband was very ill and I was exhausted the staff quickly move inside to a two bedroom apartment. The care and attention we have received during the last months of his life have been truly exemplary. It was such a help for both my family and i, to know we had primrose staff around supporting us. Both staff and residents have become a great extended family to us. Thank you primrose !

They needed to make this move rather quickly, and SAMANTHA moved mountains to make that happen! I have not had a chance to meet many, but the staff that I have come in contact with has been amazing and friendly! They have a gold mine with their activity director ANGELA, she was made for this position! Don't wait for health crisis to Look into this amazing retirement community!! As soon as you notice a change in your loved ones ability to get around in their home, like needing a walker more often than just a cane, even the Slightest of change, I would highly encourage you to get a hold of Samantha. My mother moved to Primrose a few months ago and has settled in so nicely. She loves her apartment with the big windows that let in so much sunshine every day. The staff is wonderful and the activities are top notch with talented singers and programs for everyone and who doesn’t love the dogs and cats that come to visit each week. At 96, she attends the exercise classes offered each day and that is huge to keeping her strong and safe from falls. She could not be happier and neither could we. We are so grateful that Mansfield has this top notch facility in our little community for our loved ones as they age and need more assistance and also more community so they are no longer isolated in their old homes. Thanks to the staff for all the kindness, help and support towards my dear mother.

The staff at Primrose Mansfield is absolutely incredible. My parents have been living there since January. Sadly, my mom passed away in May, but my dad is still there. The care and compassion the nursing staff gave my mom her final months and days was truly above and beyond. The entire staff really cares about the residents overall well being, health, and safety. They immediately get to know residents and they love and care for them like family. We are so grateful for each and every one of them. The building has a bright, inviting and updated interior with the great amenities. They have numerous daily activities for residents to keep them active and engaged. My dad's favorites are the weekly euchre games and ice cream socials. He also enjoys the lunch outings and mystery rides. Primrose does an amazing job planning and executing fun activities and events for residents as well as special holiday events that welcome and include family members.

Primrose Retirement Community has been an excellent experience for our family. Our parents were able to move in to their apartment and make it their home. They were even able to bring their sweet kitty. Their apartment has beautiful sunny views, a kitchen, dining area, a study and bedroom. The facility is very clean and homey and provides many opportunities for enriching and fun activities. It includes a dining area which is like a cafe, a movie theater, a beauty salon, an ice cream parlor, a tavern, a library, a grand piano and an exercise room. The staff are the best part about Primrose. They are very kind and welcoming. They are supportive and ready to help in any way. Care is available day and night. Rehab services and medical care are offered right in the facility and they are excellent. We love our parents very much and want the very best for them. We are thankful that at Primrose, our parents have found a place to live such active and happy lives.

I had been living in southern Alabama for 20 years after my retirement and it was time to return to Mansfield in my home state of Ohio. My son was great for picking out a good home for me when I returned to my old area. It was Primrose and I knew that he had made the right choice for me as soon as I arrived at my new home. It didn't take long before I got to know many of the employees and I was impressed with the management team that was responsible for the wellbeing of the people living here. The first time that I went to the dining room for a meal I started to meet a lot of the other people that lived here and the employees that served our meals to us. There are over 150 functions going on that are listed in the monthly happenings and they are available for every one if there is interest in any of them. Movies are shown three days each week. My mother has lived at Primrose for six years. A new widow, and alone for the first time in her life, she wanted to be independent and yet be close to people. She lived in a beautiful villa with a stunning view and lots of room for 5 years. In December, her health took a turn for the worse and we packed her up and moved her into "The Big House" -Assisted Living. She has a spacious, bright and airy two bedroom-2 bath apartment so there is room for visitors AND she has THE best view of the rolling hills anyone could ask for. The staff has been so kind and loving to Mom but I see they are the same with all of the residents . Primrose, Mansfield has a dedicated Elder Care Team and my family is blessed to have our beloved mother, sister, granny and great-grandmother and aunt.

I cannot say enough good things about Primrose! Before touring there, I never knew such a wonderful assisted living facility option existed. My parents were in another facility and were very unhappy. From my first tearful conversation with Samantha, our family was so relieved and hopeful. Sam provided so much information and patiently answered our lists of questions and swiftly became my go to. Bruce was a great resource for the business end. Primrose is a true community, and every time I am there I see the genuine care and concern that staff has for all the residents. The facility itself felt too good to be true. You can walk past the theater and hear laughter and smell popcorn, or the pub during cocktail hour or bingo, or observe an enthusiastic game of seated badminton with balloons - the list goes on. Angela, the activities director, shines with innovative ways to keep residents active and engaged. In the kitchen, Clementina’s cooking and desserts are restaurant quality! The nursing staff is so loving, kind, and knowledgeable, and within a short time I could see relationships forming. I never thought I’d truly enjoy hanging out in an assisted living facility, but I do. And Primrose is incredibly family and friend oriented. I know I’m gushing, but it’s genuine. Thank you, Primrose! I wish all seniors could live in such a wonderful place.

My mother was only at Primrose for a short stay but she was treated like a queen. My mom stayed in her 1-bedroom apartment and we loved the opportunity to make it her own. Samantha went above and beyond to lock down a 1-bedroom apartment on very short notice. My mom had made a down payment on an apartment years ago and they honored that down payment with immediate occupancy. All of the staff went above and beyond to make my mom comfortable, talk to her, bring her favorite cranberry juice drink and even dance with her because it was one of her favorite things to do! The staff communicated well with the family and were of huge comfort to us. The facility was always clean and so many activities to offer too. My mom loved getting her hair cut and washed! A very professional run facility that is full of kind and caring staff and residents. Our family highly recommends Primrose!

My dad lived at Primrose for 5 years. Prior to moving in, he lived alone for 23 years after my mom's passing and had become lonely and isolated. He had traveled the world for pleasure, and we were very worried about how he would adjust. After my dad moved to Primrose, his life changed dramatically for the better. The staff is amazing, and there are numerous activities to keep residents engaged. He made some amazing connections with both the staff and the residents. The best version of my dad may have been the one that finished his life at Primrose. We will be forever grateful for that!
