If you are looking for a place to live, consider Westover. I would like to share some of the reasons why I chose Westover. First, it is not a concrete high-rise; the campus is tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The park-like setting is serene with mature trees, shrubs, and flowers. Many apartments in the main building and all the outside independent homes feature patios. This allows residents to enjoy outdoor activities such as bird watching and gardening. I reside in the main building, which is well-decorated and maintained. The staff at Westover are friendly, warm, and attentive. They go above and beyond to ensure the residents’ needs are me. My neighbors and the other residents are also very welcoming. The community here has a family-like atmosphere. Regarding activities, Westover offers a comprehensive monthly calendar with a variety of options including land and aquatic exercise classes, chair volleyball, music programs, arts and crafts, movies, games, social gatherings, special events, and outings. In summary, I feel blessed and very pleased to call Westover my home.

Finding a place where your mom and dad will be cared for and loved is an overwhelming task. The entire staff at Westover Retirement Community gave me the confidence that I made the right decision in choosing this wonderful place for my parents! From the leadership who is always available and reassuring to the nurses and aides who treated my parents like their own family I cannot be more thankful to all those at Westover for the wonderful care they gave my mom and dad.

My mother has been a resident in Healthcare at Westover for seven years and my father became a resident in Assisted Living in December of 2022. We are very pleased with Westover overall. It is very clean and the decor creates a pleasant atmosphere. They offer many different activities for the residents if they wish to join in. They are short staffed, as is the case everywhere, and it is a strain on the staff. Generally, we have found the staff to be very caring and I feel very fortunate that my parents are able to be in the same facility. The size of Westover is a plus too. It feels like a community!

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Westover Retirement since February 2022. She did 1 month of Respite Care. At that time, she made the decision that going to her own home was not something that she would be able to do. At first, she was struggling to make Westover her 'new' home. Since she has become an active part of the community. She plays chair volleyball, bingo and often attends and enjoys the musical guests. I can't think of any place (other than her own home) that she would be happier living.

I have a family member of a friend who is staying here, the patients received a microwave dinner for their Christmas dinner. I understand people should be home with their families, but these patients aren't able to be home and should be treated accordingly. Seems very chincy since I'm sure their insurance is paying pretty good money for their care.

We moved my Mother-In-Law into assisted living at Westover on 2/23/22. I am very pleased with the many services and activities that Westover provides to their residents. The staff at Westover performs at a high level and their number one characteristic is their interaction with the residents and visitors. I don't believe I could be any more pleased with a staff at another community! Even before my Mother-In-Law moved in, I was highly recommending Westover to people. And this was for the last six years. Now that I see the care that Westover provides on a personal basis just confirms to me my thoughts for the last six years! Westover Staff....you are much appreciated!!

We just placed my mother in Westover, February 23, 2022. I would like to share my mother's comments that we have heard her say more than a number of times and which we are in total agreement. 1. "The Staff are so nice, friendly and so helpful!" 2. "It's so clean!" 3. They have good food! 4. She loves how the beautician does her hair! 5. There are a lot of activities to do. 6. I like my apartment. We are so pleased to hear these comments because it makes us feel good that we made the right choice.

I love Avita of Wells! All the staff are very friendly and happy and make staying at Avita enjoyable for their residents. Every day is packed with activities for wellness and spirituality, physical fitness, social, and sensory and memory enhancement. The food is locally sourced and the residents have a choice of soup or salad, and 2 entrees for every meal. They have weekly excursions to the ocean and local restaurants. The residents convinced me that my mom would love it at Avita and they were right!
