My family feels that a very special thank you with an acknowledgement should be made for Cody Richmond. Cody was instrumental in helping our family get our Uncle RB on Medicaid. He kept us informed of where we were in the process as well as the next steps to follow with a positive outcome. There is nothing more frustrating or difficult than dealing with the government when you are trying to get Medicaid. We have worked on issues like this in the past with other family members at different locations and the frustration never ends. Our Uncle was a veteran and he even instructed us on the sites to go to with special funding for our veterans. Our only mistake was not putting our Uncle at the Woodlands the first time. It’s a clean, caring and loving facility. The entire staff embraces their positions and the clients to ensure they are well cared for. We are notified immediately in the event that something has happened or just to tell us he’s doing great! There is a lot of comfort in that. Thank you Cody for your patience and support, we absolutely could not have done this without you.

My grandma has now been at this facility for 2.5 years. She has thrived here and despite behavioral issues from her medical conditions, all staff, nurses, and administrators have been so patient. Above all, Cody, the business director, has been instrumental in helping me apply for Medicaid, advocating on my behalf, and connecting me to resources that helped me through the process. He’s truly one of the most caring folks I’ve ever met and despite this being a business, he cares about the residents and family members and has saved my sanity more than once. I truly could not have made it through that process without his support and encouragement.

My mother was here for 2 years she has been gone for 8 years. The staff took excellent care of her. Now my best friend has been there for about 2 months. It is like coming home for me as I spent alot of time there with my mother. The staff is very friendly and was good to see a couple of them I remember. Would recommend this facility

Woodlands of Hamilton is a beautiful, secure Assisted Living facility. Every staff member I have met is caring, friendly, and always helpful. My mom loves it here and loves the activities- especially BINGO and cards. She also loves the food! Felicia, the Activity Director, is awesome! Knowing Mom likes it here and that she is well cared for has brought me so much peace of mind.

I had come to visit a very dear friend from my church and your staff was incredibly helpful in directing me to the sign in and to help me find my friends room. Every member of your staff I encountered today was helpful and pleasant. They all seemed to genuinely care and take pride in their work. Your facility is very clean. Always greeted with a smile along with a friendly goodbye when I leave. I am so glad my Mother is part of this community. Every aid, nurse, kitchen staff, and other members of the team are so pleasant and accommodating to my mothers needs as well as mine.

Best place in Hamilton for my mom. The cost is so reasonable compared to other places in the country and the local area. The people at the front desk greet you with a smile and know you by first name. The director is great. The person in charge of billing is awesome. The director of the memory unit is awesome and understands dementia residents. There is a turn over in staff which is everywhere maybe and increase in pay would help. The aids may need better training but are good. Sometimes there is a shortage of aids and nurses but overall the place is great!!

I am here everyday. It is unrealistic to expect one aide to watch 14 residents, do laundry, give showers, plate food, wash dishes, and check and change every two hours! An increase in pay is warranted

Had a wonderful time as always. I was happy that everyone seemed to be enjoying their morning exercise class. As a yoga instructor who specializes in modified yoga for elderly and people with physical limitations, I have witnessed first-hand the tremendous benefits chair exercises can have on one's physical and mental health, memory, heart, digestion, coordination, endurance, energy level, restful sleep and overall well-being. Even just a few minutes of chair yoga each day not only extends one's life but can significantly improve the quality of life as well.

As soon as you walk into the facility, you are greeted by many smiling faces and everyone is always up beat. The care the residents get by staff is top notch, very small family-like environment. Not an overwhelming amount of staff to resident ratio, everyone that lives here is happy and loves it!

Woodlands of Hamilton is the best choice I could have made for my sister who is currently a resident in their memory care unit. In the last 4 years she has lived there, every single staff member I have met (including both medical & non-medical personnel) is clearly happy to be at Woodlands and likes their job. This has made all the difference. They are caring, compassionate, competent and friendly. Woodlands management has maintained effective safety practices as well as a good variety of activities for their residents all during the time we have been associated with them even during the challenging times brought on by Covid 19. My sister is happy at Woodlands and so are we.
