I just moved my father here from another facility. While it has only been a few short days the difference is amazing. Every staff member is welcoming & friendly. The administrative staff(admissions, DON & social worker) that we have dealt with are really on top of everything. The staff here (LPN, STNA) all seem to work as a team. It is such a breath of fresh air for people to be doing their jobs, as they should be done. You really get a sense of family here. I work in healthcare myself & can say this is hard to come by. For anyone looking for a facility for their loved one I would highly recommend you consider golden years. It may not be the newest facility but definitely the best level of care I've seen in a long time. My dad also says the food is great.

This is the place to be! The residents are very well cared for, facility is very clean. Hands down the best long term care facility I've worked at

Highly recommend Golden Years! My mother has been a resident and was taken excellent care of. No better place in the area!

I live out of state, but when I needed to find a Medicaid facility for my mom, Golden Years bent over backwards to help me get coverage and transition my mom from her former placement. They helped me navigate the system, got things moving, and reassured me all along the way. Cindy, the admissions director, is so kind, responsive, and efficient. She and the rest of the staff communicate with me regularly which is a great comfort for an out of state daughter. I am truly grateful for the care my mom receives at Golden Years.

I have worked at Golden Years for about a year now and I've never felt more appreciated in a work place, nor have I experienced such great teamwork! I truly love all my residents & staff like family and I strongly believe that is how all long term facilities should be. This is a great place to be

"I have been a resident at Golden Years since November 2021. I receive good care from ALL of my aides and nurses. Sometimes they even go above and beyond to make my day special. On Sunday evening, two of my aides, Danielle and Jessica, colored my hair for me. I have received so many compliments and I am so pleased with it. I just want to say thank you to both of them for making me smile." - Susan D.

I've worked at a lot of Nursing homes and I would consider Golden Years to be in my top 5 not just professionally but personally as well. The nursing aides have the most contact w the residents and they are a good bunch to not only work with but care for the residents. You can see that they genuinely care and are not just here for the money.

i have worked here for 4 years and have even worked at a couple of other places throughout these 4 years. i can truthfully say, there is nowhere like Golden Years! the staff is very hardworking and very caring. the new management team works very hard to assure that the residents get the best quality of care and they are very attentive to the needs of not only the residents, but families and employees as well! my mimi has been here for rehab twice and was treated kindly with great respect from all departments. Golden Years is and always will be my home away from hom

I've been working for Golden years a little more than two years caring for wonderful folks.Great Atmosphere.

We've had negative experiences with nursing homes. It's a breath of fresh air knowing that several of the people we care about are at Golden Years. They've bloomed; they look good, feel good, are social, involved and happy. I have 25 + years in health care management and am completely impressed with both the staff and facilities. I would definitely put my own parent here.

Golden Years takes great care if your lived ones. My mother has Dementia and the staff is fantastic! But BEWARE if your loved one tests positive to the Covid they have to send your loved one to another nursing home which has a Covid unit. Well, my mother got sent to Mountain Crest. This place is horrible. You can't get anyone to answer the phone. The patients do no have phones in their rooms. On the occasion that I have gotten to speak with my mom she has been crying hysterically and begging me to get her out of their. I have had sleepless nights and worries out of this world. She is supposed to be coming back to Golden Years Tuesday 9-22...but as I understand there are issued...Mountain Crest does not do any more testing ...no symptoms after 10 days they are good to go per CDC. My sister was told by a nurse at Golden Years that they can't get a clear answer from the CDC. If they still want 2 negative tests before released from the covid unit. AS MY MOTHER SITS IN THIS PLACE CRYING AND BEGGING TO GET OUT. MY mom is 92 years old. She does not deserve to be going through this. Covid has been here for several months. Seems to me that the Administration would be it top of it. I am very concerned for the well being of my mother. Please pray for her to be back with the staff she loves at Golden Years.

I have worked at this facility for almost 12 years. The staff all work together and do consider our residents like family. Overall this is a great facility and we provide excellent care.
