My grandfather came here to spend the last few months of his life. He spent a month or so in assisted living, and a couple months in critical care. In every wing of the facility, and at every step of his end of life process, the employees were phenomenal to him, as well as to his friends and family. The food, the care and general atmosphere” I don’t imagine us finding a better facility for my grandpa to live out out his last few months. My family and I will be forever grateful for each and every member of the team here for making the entire process as easy and painless as possible.

I wanna say thank you for taking care of my grandma Betty when she was alive. She always wanted to go there because how the staff was so attentive to their residents. She always would want to go there. I hope that one day I can become part of the team and be able to care for residents the way the staff did for my grandma.

This is my second time using this wonderful facility. The employees, everyone from nursing to food services to transportation and PT are all kind and caring.They all know you by name. That is the most important piece of staying here. There are activities to suit every interest. The food is tasty and once a month they have an outside entity come in. I have had Chinese, pizza and even KFC! If I ever need a place to recover again this will be it! Talk to Charles if you ever need anything.

I was a resident at the Genoa Retirement Village for approximately 4 weeks and was in need of rehabilitation. I can honestly say from the time I started my rehabilitation until I was ready to go home, I received the best of care. The Staff beginning with the Administrator Charles,the nurses, the nurses aides, the cooks, all the kitchen help, and the therapists went above and beyond to meet my needs and make me more comfortable during my stay. I would highly recommend Genoa Retirement Village to anyone! Thank you, Kenneth Pfaff

I have been a resident for almost a year. This is a great community to be at. I have been on both sides for rehab and currently reside in assisted living. Both have taken very good care of me. All the staff have really gone above and beyond accommodating my needs and making the entire process easy. I can't thank Charles in admission enough for assisting myself and my family through the entire process. Made everything easy. The nurses are helpful and caring, housekeeping always keeps everything nice and clean, the food delicious, and always have entertainment on Friday for good times. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody.

My dad, Larry, was at GRV for 80 days. He arrived immobile & was walking with the aid of a walker at his release. The therapists were patient & kindly persistent. The nurses & aides in Hall 300 were attentive & compassionate. The admin staff was helpful navigating insurance & the transition to home. The center has engaging events planned all the time & the food is delicious, too. Our family is forever grateful to this terrific staff for everything they did to support Larry! Thank you!

My parents, 2 aunts, and 2 uncles have all lived here. I've also played music for the residents since 2018. I play at other health care centers and this is one of the nicer ones. The staff is always friendly and caring.

I have entertained and ministered to the residents at Genoa Retirement Village for a few years. The activities and life enrichment staff make it easy for me to engage the community and their families. I love being invited to special events like anniversaries and special occasions like Valentine’s Day.

During this time the staff, RNs, Directors, dining staff, maintenance , therapy, All have provided more than 5 star care and warmth for her care . You become Family here . The staff here is truly amazing. They care for my dad and attend to his needs in a timely manner. The nurses, aides, physical therapists, and speech therapist genuinely care for his well-being, progress and overall health. Everyone is helpful when we have questions or concerns. The food is good too! I would recommend Genoa to anyone.

This is a place that I personally would stay at and that says alot! They have themed dinners that are fantastic, parties and outings. They stand above the rest for a reason. EMPATHY. If you find yourself or a loved one in need of extra care please look into Esther's Law. Thus grants families the right to have video cameras in there rooms. They never gave me any issues! I HIGHLY recommend them. I did notice staff shortages at times, but thats everywhere. Best place for care!

Great first impression, was promptly greeted when I arrived at facility by receptionist. Facility was clean, staff dressed professional and call lights were answered in a timely. Residents were enjoying activities and so many options offered to make them feel at home. They had fresh popcorn available for residents and visitors.
