Well between 2016 through maybe 2020. It used to be so much fun at the nursing home where my mom is at. The way they used to have a nurse staffs? It used to be so much fun and so much excitement happening for the patients. Like for example have a pet days for the ducks and dogs get to see. So many activities going on. And some of the nurse staff that used to work? Seemed very caring and very energized and did amazing job between 2016 through 2020. That was the last time for over 4 years with some of the staffs that used to work at my mom's nursing home. But ever since late 2020 through 2024? Everything has changed. They have hired a new nursing staff? But then? None of the new nursing staff doing so good job. Like it was. Every time they hired a new nursing home staff? They seem to just sit around the desk typing a computer as if they were busy. But really they did not do their job any good. It seems as if nothing is anyone do a very good job or even care to do their own job. I mean I understand there's a lot patients that needs. But still. It seems as if a lot of the new nursing staff? Seems like they don't want to do their job very well. And it said how between late 2020, throw so far 2024? Nothing going to go well that good. I mean if you see close enough about a lot of new nurses staff. They can sit around the desk all day long and doing computer. But it seems as they don't care about doing their job right anymore. And they hire new nurse staff miserably. So that's the way I seen and the eye witnesses. But I'm not the only one that has an eyewitness. Few others has seen the witness of the way how the nurse steps or whether you hired a new nurse staff not doing their job very well anymore, and it's so sad add a really pathetic. I was sent to this facility from the hospital. After a neck surgery I felt so taken care from the physical and occupational therapist to housekeeping, the kitchen staff, the management team as they all reached out to offer the best . They really help me to achieve the proper care and physical and occupational therapy to be sent home . I would like to say thank you very much for your Professional Services!!!

I was here in Nov. 2020 after knee repl. surgery. I was in the newer remodeled wing and had a dbl room to myself. The staff was great except I was not allowed out of my room cuz of Covid even though I was tested just before I had surgery. I was not even allowed to look out my door into the hallway. PT was done in my room but showers were down at the other end of the hall and was taken by wheelchair to get there. No visitors allowed. The food was the WORST food I have ever had!! 90% of it I thru in the garbage. I feel so bad for the permanent residents who have no choice but to eat that garbage. I was able to get my daughter to smuggle me food after dark otherwise I would lost 8 lbs. in the 10 days I was there. Nurse John, the Aides, and therapy staff were great and tried to visit when they had time. I worked twice as hard exercising so I could get out of there. I would not recommend them unless they a new food providers.

The staff here is one of a kind! They make you feel comfortable as soon as you walk through the front door. They are ready to answer any questions at any time. You can really feel the love and family like connections in this building.

My experience has been very rewarding and my care was very educational. John is a wonderful nurse and he has been fantastic and he also taught me alot about my care. The staff here has went above and beyond! It feels like a family being here. The staff has the best bedside manor and I felt like royalty here!

WOW I HAVE BEEN IN A REHAB/NURSING HOME FOR LITTLE OVER TWO YEARS AND NOT VERY GOOD EXPERIENCE AT THE ONE I WAS IN. I DECIDED TO COME HERE TO SKLD OF PERRYSBURG. WOW WISH I WOULD HAVE CAME HERE ALONG TIME AGO. JUST EVERYTHING FROM MANAGEMENT TO AIDS NURSES TO DIETITIAN TO MAINTENANCE TO THERAPY. EVERY DEPARTMENT. WHAT A AWESOME FAMILY ATMOSPHERE... THANK YOU ALL

Updated Review: Still not completely sold on how they did not see moms blisters and scratch on ankle. I did talk with nursing staff and they did say sorry for not reporting. I think a little more trained nursing staff might be needed added so this kinda thing does not happen to other people. For now I am happy enough with nursing home. Original Review: "Less the impressed they may have been very friendly but mom had very swollen feet, legs, large scratch on ankle and blisters on feet that are leaking. Not sure how they could have not seen that since they were supposed to be doing physical therapy with her. When she left hospital to go there she was able to wear shoes but coming home from SKLD she was not able to. We are taking mom back to ER to have them check her out now."

What an incredible building to work at! They truly appreciate their residents, families, and staff. The first snow of this winter and we were all given small bags of salt to stay safe, employee appreciation days, and an early Thanksgiving dinner is available for the residents and families. The management staff interacts with the residents now more then ever. This building has truly improved for all involved. I would 100% bring my family members here for care.

Switching to this company was the best decision I've ever made professionally. Huge family environment, lots of opportunities for advancement, and you look forward to work everyday. Residents really get the care they deserve and the environment is peaceful and welcoming. This company is definitely different than others I've worked for.
