Volunteering is a great way to get more involved the community and meet new people. It's also a great way to build relationships, as well as feel like a part of something bigger than yourself. I am so thankful that my students in Dublin have the opportunity to volunteer each week. We love seeing the residents get excited about our involvement with their lives. The staff always welcome us with open arms.

I have worked at The Grand of Dublin for almost 5 years. I love our building and all the residents who reside there that make The Grand even more special. I mean, we have a pub, movie theater, and ice cream shoppe! How fun is that?! We are in this amazing location in Dublin, (across the street from Bridge Park), and our facility was designed for happiness and community! I would recommend The Grand to anyone, including my own lovely Grandmother who lived there for six years!

My Mom was first at The Grand for rehab after her stroke and that was I think it was 2017 and she loved it. So when she needed more rehab I brought her back in 2021 and while she was in rehab I realized that she couldn't stay home by herself my house have too many stairs. So we talked to the social worker and the rest of her care team she agreed that she liked here and I live close to The Grand so she made transition easy on me. So when a bed came open, we moved her from the rehab down to the memory care unit and it will be 2 years next month. I have been very happy with the staff who takes care of my Mom. Everybody from the administration, nursing staff, and the admissions and the front desk staff they are very friendly, patience, courteous. I am glad my Mom is staying there.

It is a lovely place. The Wound Care Nurse is the best. Five stars for sure! Day shift people are great. Five stars for them too. shift has many "agency" nurses who don't always seem familiar with care protocols. Definitely a problem. Physical and occupational therapy is a good work out and I made great progress with their assistance.

We love The Grand! My Dad is currently living there ( 99 years old) and he is receiving excellent care. Everyone from the director, nursing staff, therapy staff, to the front desk has been so friendly and helpful. It is a very clean, beautiful facility and I am grateful for their expertise for my dad. He is very happy and I have peace of mind that he is in a safe place. I am there most often for the dinner hour and he always has a great variety of tasty food. We also love that they have a chapel, movie theater, ice cream parlor, and pub area- just to be able to sit in different places to visit. It is a nice change of scenery for my Dad which is so needed. He got a great haircut there ( beauty parlor) and they have several courtyards to utilize when the weather improves for some fresh air (with plenty of seating). I would highly recommend The Grand. I am so grateful we found them!! We looked at many places and I am so relieved that we were able to find a spot at The Grand. Thank you to the excellent staff!!!!

The Grand is truly that, GRAND! It’s a one of a kind building complete with our own Main Street, ice cream parlor, chapel and movie theater (just to name a few incentives). The activity department is awesome and your loved one can enjoy bingo, happy hours and ice cream socials during the week and even on the weekends! The nursing staff are caring and attentive, and go above and beyond daily. The dietary team knocks the meals out of the park (I can attest to that as I had the pleasure of receiving a test tray just this week!) We have availability for independent living, assisted living, skilled nursing, long term care and memory care. The teamwork, compassion and dedication you’ll find here is truly top-notch. I enjoy working at The Grand of Dublin because the staff are respectful and treat the residents as family. Great team work with great support from the leadership team and the corporate level. Staff and resident concerns are addressed in a timely manner with positive results. I plan to work at the Grand in till I retire as a nurse.

The only this place had going for it for as far as I am concerned is that the aides were very kind and helpful. The only good thing I have to say of this place is that the aides were very helpful. The Grand of Dublin neglected my husband, who was there for rehab after having back surgery. He remained at The Grand for 2 weeks when I insisted he go to the hospital IMMEDIATELY! He was admitted to the hospital lethargic, not able to eat, drink or swallow, severely dehydrated, having C-Diff and pneumonia. He remained in the hospital for 12 days. I would never recommend this place for my loved ones. You can read my review with the BBB.

The therapists at The Grand are extremely skilled, creative, and knowledgeable; very personable and interested in the clients progress. The facility is exquisite and elegant with attention to detail in every respect. Rooms are private , quiet and elegant not a speck of dirt anywhere! The food is deplorable. Tasteless, unappealing, poorly cooked. Noodles were so dry, I couldnt eat them and chicken was raw. I would be embarrassed to serve such food! Nursing staff generally professional and patient focused.

I have returned home from my second stay at The Grand for rehab following spine surgeries. I have been so impressed with the staff, including each of my therapists, each of my nurses and wonderful patient care assistants. I want to shout out about Rose, who made each day more delightful. My room was amazing- with views of the children playing outside. Having a private room and bath is essential, and the interactions with children are a bonus. As for the food, I understand that this is a budget issue, and the management does the best they can. Have realistic expectations, people, and then ask your family and friends to bring your favorite foods. Each room has a refrigerator to store those special things- and even a little freezer. I will be returning to The Grand again after my next surgery. I know I will be welcomed warmly and will receive needed therapies. When thinking and planning about needed surgeries, it really helps to know that I can go to the Grand after surgery for rehab and recovery. Thank you to all who work there

My name is Carolee Luberto. I stayed at The Grand for about ten days. Ive been in two other facilities for knee replacement surgery and The Grand is by far the best of the three. I wont name the other two but at both there were serious problems getting pain relief medications on time and in the appropriate doses. I never had that happen at The Grand. This is a direct letter to Mr. and Mrs. Vrable and I do hope they see this. Your staff is excellent. I also sent you a handwritten letter that I hope youve received. Lisa, Brittany, Shannon, Chris, Jacob and Moses are the best of nurses. I hope you are paying them more than the standard because they all deserve it. No one was ever rushed with me and addressed all my concerns. Rose Jackson and her son Joseph Jackson, Frank and Uyen are excellent at caregiving and food service. They are treasures and I hope you treat them as such. Jeffery always has a smile on his face and works so hard! Please give them all raises and praises. Stephanie OBrien, Olivia, Gail, Laura, Martin, Reddy, Brady, Holly are so great at Occupational Therapy and Physical Therapy. They pushed me gently and with care to go a bit further each session. Anita Talentino, Catherine, Abby and Danielle and others all provided the best administrative care. I knew exactly what was happening and why. They are well informed and in turn made me a well informed patient. I would not hesitate to return if the need arises. Please keep doing what youre doing and take care of your excellent staff. If your looking for a 5 star facility, look no further. The Grand of Dublin is definitely the place for your loved one whether they need rehab, assisted living or long term care. The staff is second to none and will not only greet you each day with a smile and a warm hello but will do everything in their power to be sure your loved one is getting the best care possible. After having an unfortunate experience at a rehab in NJ where my mom resided my husband and I made arrangements to have my Mom transferred to the Grand so that we could oversee her care. The transfer couldnt have gone smother because of their excellant assistance. The staff welcomed my Mom with open arms and were there every step of the way. I am happy to say she has completed her therapy after a 6 week stay and was released yesterday. She cried as she said good-byes to the staff that made her feel at home with their TLC. The Grand definitely has employees who truly know the meaning of team work and are always willing to put their patients first. To everyone at the Grand, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We had a very positive experience at The Grand of Dublin. My father spent over three months at the facility following two complex back operations and has even chosen to return to their therapy department for his outpatient therapy. The entire staff at The Grand showed concern for my fathers needs and comfort during his stay. Employees went out of their way to help him even if it wasnt their normal duty. The staff was also extremely welcoming to my mother and I, as regular visitors, and were always willing to answer our questions and try to meet our needs as well. My family was proactively involved in the daily oversight of my fathers care, as all families would be, and the administrative staff was extremely responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. the facility and amenities by design have a small community feel as opposed to the hospital environment weve seen at other rehab facilities. My father was at The Grand from October through January and their beautiful seasonal decorations and activities greatly lifted his spirits during his time away from home.

Caregivers dont hear thank-you enough----so let this be a thank-you to all of the wonderful caregivers you have at the Grand. Everyone I came in contact with seemed to really enjoy their job--from the receptionist who always greeted you with a smile or pleasant word---Jeffery who worked in housekeeping always smiling and making sure the room was clean---Kari in nutrition who spoiled my husband to death,she would bring him coffee at 6:30am every morning and she worried about him filling out his menu requests.---the rehab staff especially Holly they got him walking again----and of course his nurses especially Anita and Angie -- I called them the Dynamic Duo but the term A-Team could be used too. They love what they are doing---Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work. thank you and so much to the Grand staff for the care you gave my husband--Merry Christmas Rita Weaver

The Grand was very nice. Beautiful building and very clean. My mom went in for two weeks after hip replacement and they treated her very well. She seemed to be well taken care of and loved the PT time she had. She did say the food could use improving. But overall her experience was very good.

I waited 8 months to write this review as I wanted time to really get to know The Grand. Last July, we moved my 97 year old mother into assisted living. We are so glad we did!When I fist walked into The Grand, I said to my wife, I want to live here now, 8 moths later, I still feel that way. More importantly my mother is so happy and pleased with the hoice.The facilities speak for themselves, far exceeding the other senior care facilities we looked at. However, the staff are what really make The Grand a great choice. When the owner, his wife and whole family participate (not just attend) in the Christmas gala, you know that this is just not another corporate property of some big company. The food (dining service) is very good, with lots of options and a staff that are willing to cater to special needs or requests. If you are considering assisted living for a loved one, do give The Grand serious consideration. We are so happy with the staff and how they make that wonderful facility come alive for its residents.

My mom was there for a few months. All nursing staff (including the aids, social worker and the therapists) was very caring and passionate. Danielle, the lady who takes care of the admission was so helpful and understanding. The environment was beautiful, and most of all - clean. I will recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a facility for their love one, either for long term care or rehab
