Reviews The Grand of Dublin Health & Rehabilitation Center
July 2026
The nurse who was the most helpful was Denise. She spent the weekend with me. Making sure I received my meds on time. She gave me a shower herself personally. Normally nurses leave that for the aides. My aide was a guy who was very nice but I didn't want him to give me a shower. This place is stunning an if Denise was the only person I had to deal with that would be an amazing experience. Unfortunately I had others that weren't as attentive. Denise definitely made up for it! Kuddos to you Denise for being on of the best nurses I've ever come in contact with! Thank you a million times over! I wrote this review after being here for a couple of days. After spending more time I found that Erica (my nurse) my aide Summer were also PHENOMENAL as well. I had 2 other aides that were great too. I wish they were the only ones I had to deal with. One of the nurses was pregnant an I'm not sure of why but anything I needed her to do took an hour or more as if my room wasn't outside of the nurses station. I finally went to the door an asked her to come put my dressing on so I could go to bed. She SUCKED an so did most of them. The night before I left I had a nurse who was super kind. My aide that night was also kind she was the only one who would offer me snacks. I appreciated the small number of people that didnt mind helping me. My PT Emma I believe was her name was also kind. I'm thankful for their kindness and happy I was able to have those who were helpful to me. So I wanted to update my review!

After being in an independent living facility I knew my health was going downhill. I researched several skilled nursing/long term facilities and found The Grand of Dublin. The admitting Director went above and beyond in order to see i had a nice place to go. He spent several hours making sure my move went smoothly. The people here are awesome and brighten my day. My room is amazing and the food is great.

Awesome place, the best care facility and only one that doesn’t have stinky pee smell As far as I know Friendly staff

We had the best day ever at the Grand of Dublin Easter Party for residents and family!Main Street was decorated to the hilt with filled easter eggs, prizes, fancy refreshments, live music, and an in-person visit from the Easter Bunny! Residents and families had an amazingly good time and we're all so grateful to the Grand for providing such a fun day.

I just want to give a shout-out to my aide Kelvin Coleman! He always goes above and beyond and he's very positive and pleasant. This is an excellent facility!

The Grand of Dublin has helped me during my recovery after Rotator cuff surgery. They have a great therapy department with caring and knowledgeable therapist. The nursing and medical staff have been there to help me get through the pain after the surgery. The Grands Activities staff keep the residents engaged with numerous events, no two days are the same, there is always something new to look forward too.

I always thought nursing facilities was a place you could leave someone and all would be taken care of because they charge fees that are astronomical. Well, not true. You MUST be your own advocate. Some of the nurses and aides were great, some were not. If you don't watch things and ask a lot of questions you wont get the attention you think you deserve. The only people that give these places 5 stars are those people who drop off their loved one, and when they return each evening for a visit they ask the nurses how everything is going and they are told great, your "mom" is wonderful and then when they ask mom, she's too old to know what's going on so she says wonderful. In reality, the nurses are full of it and mom has no clue. When you go to any of these places, be your own nurse, be your own PT, be your own aid.

The staff are all excellent and the service is excellent; my mother is very happy.
December 2025
My father has been a long-term care resident at The Grand for over six months now, and I am incredibly grateful for the compassionate, consistent care he has received there. From the moment we walked in, it was clear how thoughtful and intentionally built this facility was. It was meant to be a whole village, not just a building. The interior “main street” means that a big part of the facility is dedicated to social activities. They don’t just shove the residents into a big room—there’s a real ice cream parlor (for twice-weekly ice cream socials), pub (for at least weekly music programs), and movie theater (with real recliner seats and a rotating schedule of recent films). The rest of the physical plant is beautiful too, with all private rooms, generously sized, that feel more like a home than an institution. The attention to detail is evident in the cleanliness, the decor (each room personally decorated), and the overall sense that this is a place where people are truly cared for. The staff at The Grand have been exceptional—kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in each resident’s well-being. My father is known by name and story; it feels like a family-run environment even though there’s a larger organization behind it. The food is consistently good and familiar, with regular offerings to suit varied tastes, including a daily dessert that my father always finishes. Activities are engaging and well-planned, from near-daily bingo to a meaningful Veterans’ Day celebration that deeply touched my father, an Air Force vet. The location is ideal, nestled in Bridge Park with access to the Dublin Connector shuttle—a huge bonus since this provides free service to senior citizens anywhere in Dublin. There are also lots of nearby restaurants and hotels for visiting family. I recently visited during the holidays, and the festive cheer inside and out was heartwarming. The Grand truly feels like a vibrant, uplifting home for seniors—and that’s something I know he appreciates.

I spent two weeks at the Grand of Dublin. This is my second experience here. The last one was several years ago. I walked in and some of the people who took care of my husband recognize me after 7 years. This alone was wonderful that they would remember my husband after so long. The one thing that makes The Grand special is they care about their clients not just care for their needs. They have a singer every Friday night in their own pub. The have a movie theater and ice cream shop.. they offer a multitude of activities that you can but don't have to participate in. They have a beautiful library and they have a spa and arts craft room. Each client has their own room, but in between two rooms is a sitting area where you can sit and work a puzzles and maybe meet with your family or friends between the two of you. They have a wonderful physical activity area where they have PT and OT offered. The nursing staff was wonderful and the volunteers were outstanding. Willing to help you with about anything. They all seem to care about your needs. I would strongly suggest before committing to any any short-term or long-term memory center. You check out the Grant. They do care about each client and what their needs are. I'm going to post several pictures of the building and the rooms. You might just want to take a tour and see what you think about putting your loved ones in a place for that we cared for.

This is one of the best rehabilitation senders in Greater Columbus. It has many rooms with warm designs and a charming downtown with shops, a gym, a pub, a theater, and more.

My husband is here for rehabilitation after hospitalization. The Grand has beautiful accommodations skilled nursing patients. He has a lovely room and shares a sitting/dining area with another patient. This area includes a refrigerator, sinks, table, cozy and dining chairs

This was our first experience with this type of facility. Their therapy department was exceptional. OT Theresa and PT Emma were a wonderful help to our Mom. PT Cam was fantastic. She gently encouraged Mom, getting her to do more than Mom thought she could do, yet still acknowledging Mom's limits. All 3 women were top notch. As for Nursing and Aides, STNA Christina Littler was the absolute best. She was always on top of things, sometimes rushing from room to room to help the residents. She was pro-active, friendly, supportive, and gentle. It looked like they could use some additional help. There were some issues...Mom developed some sores and rashes, we had to remind them to give her a shower, they had her incorrectly coded as diabetic, which limited her menu options, they found her lying on the floor one morning - luckily she was not injured, and we were initially provided with the incorrect discharge date, which cut short our time to make other arrangements. As with any business, there were exceptional employees, and those who, in our opinion, could use some additional training and/or bedside manners. Overall, I would recommend The Grand of Dublin. Just go knowing you need to be your own advocate.
September 2025
I have mixed feelings about this place. The physical therapy is great! Emily is awesome. She listened to my needs and wants for therapy and made it happen. Having to wait over an hour multiple times for pain meds is what i dislike about this place. Took over 2 hours a couple of times. This was my second time with them after joint replacement surgery. I chose to yo back because therapy is so good. Having to wait for pain meds for so long im not sure if id go back or not.

I was at “The Grand at Dublin” for an eleven-day rehab stay after surgery. The name is representative of the atmosphere; it is grand. You enter into a beautiful resort look and feel with a central area like a neighborhood street. Hallways and rooms have a homey vibe, wonderful for a rehab stay but so great for their residents. The Activity group is fantastic their calendar is full. I have stayed in rehab facilities previously and nothing as nice as this. I can not say enough about the Rehab/PT/OT staff and facilities! Such a wonderful group, so friendly they make your rehab experience a joy. Every single one is great, I will apologize that I am terrible with names so I only have a few I remember. In PT I worked with Kiran and Cam multiple times and a gentleman once – they got my strength and mobility stronger each day. I worked with a few in OT but Karri Mirgon stands out with her energy, encouragement, and happy upbeat personality – working on coordination and balance and teaching me safety steps for cooking in the kitchen again after my surgery. I also participated in a group PT/OT session with Cam and Karri – what a fun, uplifting session, we all encouraged each other and laughter rang out. All the while giving us a great workout at the same time. I left much stronger and knowledgeable about my precautions and exercises moving forward. I have one negative I have to mention because I was flabbergasted that a rehab facility has no ice packs for patients. The only thing the facility offers is a 6x8 chemical cold pack – the bag with crystals and a bag of liquid inside that you pop and then squeeze and shake for the two to combine and give a cold feel, not something to be useful to a surgical or injured patient. Since the room I was in had a frig/freezer combo, I ordered 2 large freezer gel packs from Amazon and had them delivered to me. Most of the nursing and aide staff are caring and helpful but something I did find odd was the system they have in place for all of their charting, notes, etc. One day I got pulled into PT and then OT and missed my scheduled meds including pain med – taking just regular meds “off schedule” worked out fine but in order to get my pain meds back to the schedule their computer system had them set up for, I had to either take my pain meds 3-4 hours early or 3-4 hours late. I found it very odd that their system was so stringent that there was no flexibility for something like this type of situation. While the nurses followed this I’m sure, most handled it in a smooth kind manner that I didn’t take any notice of but there was one nurse on evening/night shift that was very stringent and unkind making me feel as if I was abusing my pain meds. Overall I highly recommend The Grand at Dublin.

A little city within itself. Beautiful. We brought our father here to stay when his dementia began to be too much for us. When I tell you the staff in memory care are pure angels, I mean it. Our Dad was treated like he was their blood family member. Krista was like our sister. She updated on every thing happening with Dad especially in his last days. He was comfortable and they made sure he knew the Lord which is EVERYTHING. He received the best care before he left us and that was a prayer we always asked of God. I recommend this place for anyone not just for memory care. Thank you to the staff for all the love shown toward our family
August 2025
My mothers stayed here recently and literally didn't want to go home! Excellent care team and staff especially Roxanne! She was very communicative, respectful, engaging and just overall wonderful! She made my mom's stay pleasant and comfortable and I literally couldn't ask for a better woman than Roxanne to have been by my mothers side throughout her stay here! Excellent physical therapy and being back at home I definitely see the results! I wouldn't send her anywhere else in the future! thanks again Roxanne for your excellent care plan and staying on top of everything mom loves and appreciates you!
August 2025
The grand has a beautiful place they have lots of shops but they aren't open all the time I think that they need to drop the pretty stuff and hire more people to take care of of the people there I spoke to one lady that works there and she says she has 15 people during the day that she takes care of you can't give quality care to someone when you have that many let's be practical if I had a daycare at my house and had 15 toddlers would I be able to give them good care that's illegal in the state of Ohio for one person to have 15 toddlers it should be the same way in these rehabs as well so get rid of the fluff and hire the people to take care of the people there that are sick
August 2025
I would say my overall experience with The Grand has been good. There are places that need improvement. But I really think that Haley and Jackie in activities do a wonderful job and so do some of the aids. I don’t know all their names, but Alberta is one of them that I can think of. The food is OK. It could be a little better but the problem the main problem is it is never delivered on time. We wait over an hour for our meals and sometimes longer than an hour which is is ridiculous! Communication could be better amongst staff and residence, especially nurses and residence. These are the things I see and know of and I’m letting you know, but otherwise I enjoy my stay at The Grand.
August 2025
My mom is staying at The Grand for short term rehab. It has a been an incredible experience. All the staff are compassionate, caring, helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and phenomenal!‘ The facility is beautiful and clean. Shout out to the environmental director for how spotless and good smelling the facility was. My mom is getting ready to come home and she has expressed to me that she enjoyed the experience. She said the food is delicious and thank you to the kitchen director. My mom has been working with Kuran in therapy and she has helped her so much regain her strength and balance. She has come so far! The therapy director, Misty and assistant director, Tiffany were so motivating! Morgan and Cam in therapy were awesome! The entire therapy department was great ‘ The nursing staff were so attentive and caring. My mom said her nurses Lauri, Sam, Ebony, and Anisha were great! All the aides as well 🙂 The nurse managers were all wonderful. Taylor, the unit manager communicated and answered all my questions. The dietician was so kind and informative and offered great options! The activities director was fun and got my mom out for ice cream. We have been working with both social workers, Roxy and Vicky. They are the best and have been wonderful helping get things setup for my mom to come home! The administrator and administration are just top tier! I appreciate everything they have done and I highly recommend The Grand for your loved ones!
August 2025
The grand is an amazing place to be. I wouldn't want to put my mom anywhere else. This place gives such a warm, home-like experience. Bree with making people feel cared about and safe here, Ashlee, who makes sure the food is always correct, Rick, who always makes sure we know what's going on with bills and insurance, and Danielle, with is the most caring, compassionate administrator ever. I wouldn't second second-guess every putting my family here
August 2025
Ever since me and my family have visited the grand of Dublin I knew this would be the place for my father. He has been there for 6 months now and loves it more than he loved home. I get calls from my father everyday on how well he is treated and how they make him feel at home unlike the other nursing homes he’s been too. I definitely recommend the grand to any family looking to help your loved ones. I definitely recommend talking to Bree and Rick about getting your loved one here.
June 2025
I've been here 4 months and I would not be in another independent living apartment ever. This place is the best. It has the name for a reason. Everyone in every department will make you think you're a king or a queen. They go above and beyond to ensure your stay/visit surpass expectations. The food is excellent. Ashley is the best cook around!
June 2025
Clean, kind staff…..
April 2025
I stayed due to a fracture from an accident. The staff were very friendly and supportive and the environment was very pleasant. I would recommend it highly.
April 2025
TERRIBLE!! My mother was admitted to The Grand - she had late-stage cancer and was bed-bound. Most of the staff at The Grand lacked any type of compassion; they were very cold and unfriendly. Mom's care was horrible. Most of the staff acted like they hated their jobs; no one smiled or acted like they cared about mom. Mom got yelled at by aides; and the facility ran out of her pain medication (morphine) twice; so Mom had to suffer while waiting on them to get more in. We met with the nursing director to see if we could get a better staff response; their solution was to move mom to another wing of the facility to see if the staff was any better. Mom was so sick and it was so traumatic to move her; so we (the family) ended up coming into the facility and doing most of her care. Mom died at the beginning of March. The facility is holding on to the overpayment that we made to them, which is thousands of dollars (they require you to pay 30 days ahead of time) and won't give me a straight answer on when we will get our money back. I am having trouble getting anyone there to respond to me. I have contacted their headquarters in Michigan hoping to get a response; but so far I have not heard from anyone. I am now filing a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Office. DO NOT put your loved one in this facility. The building is beautiful; but the care is HORRIBLE.
April 2025
Lauryn and Leisa were so excellent and gave me great service as I came to deliver a wheelchair. It’s great to have such wonderful people working at your company 5 service!!!
April 2025
My mom is in the rehab unit. It is beautiful. Alicia, the admissions director, made the transition from the hospital smooth and was always available to answer any questions. My only wish is to be able to see her chart notes on a daily basis. The staff is always accommodating, but they are busy and it would be great to have a portal to see moms progress so we don’t have to ask. I can’t speak to the LTC but on first glance it appears clean. The facility itself is beautiful and it would be nice to have the coffee shop and or other areas open longer to provide patients and guests a place to hang out and feel more normal.
March 2025
My husband has been at the Grand for a little over a year. His diagnosis is not always visible but his deficits prevent him from being able to be at home permanently. The admissions process and personnel was super informative and made the transition from respite to long care smooth. I am grateful. The building Administrator has also been extremely helpful in addressing concerns until there is resolve. The facility itself is beautiful and offers so much to their residents. I would love for husband to be at home , but since he can't, I'm glad that he is here. I'll continue to build strong relationships with those who have shown superior care and support to my husband and my family. We are grateful. I
March 2025
I have nothing but positive comments. Alisha in admissions was so helpful and answered all our questions. The staff is so friendly and takes such good care of my mom.
March 2025
My father in law is currently in the rehab section. So far we are really impressed with the grand of Dublin. Two days after being admitted they sat down with my husband and I to discuss a plan of care for him. The other rehab place he was in did that the day before her left. When we are there we always see a nurse, the other place was like pulling teeth to get to talk to someone. He seems to be much happier here. He says he really likes it so that makes us feel like he is safe and being taken care of. It’s maxing how much communication with family really helps. The facility itself is absolutely beautiful and clean.
February 2025
I had visited several rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities to admit my husband in and walked away crying. The a friend recommended The Grand of Dublin. From the moment I sat down with Alisha in admissions I feel a warm welcome and a load lifted. Thank you Alisha for your kindness and warmth. The care for my husband has been exceptional from all the nursing and support staff since we arrived. This past weekend my husband wasn’t doing so well and a nurse named Mere was very attentive to him and knew just what to do. She consoled. I feel every one here giver and beyond. Bill is enjoying the all the food they cook. Thank you The Grand of Dublin Charlene Burns
February 2025
We received very good care during our stay at the grand. The Pt and Ot department was excellent.
February 2025
My mom was recently admitted to the Grand after a hospitalization and the staff has been wonderful. They are friendly and very caring. The communication with the family has been so helpful. The facility is beautiful and very clean. I highly recommend The Grand.
January 2025
I had a family member that was in the skilled rehab at the Grand over the holidays. She had excellent rehab and the staff was very supportive. Beautiful surroundings and not a “nursing home feel”. She did have appropriate assistance from staff even on the holiday. There was a minor issue at discharge but it was quickly resolved. As a social worker, I was pleased with the services from the Grand. I would not hesitate to use the Grand for other family members in the future. Based on our experience I would recommend the Grand to others
January 2025
We had great experiences admissions team specially Alyssa helped us giving us refrigerators in my mom room because she has special dietary so we needed in room Nurese Nicole is very nice and helpful to my mom even it is very fair from our house still we loved this place thanks again for all help
December 2024
I have needed to utilize the Grand on several occasions for respite for my Mother. The Nurses and the nursing assistants do a good job trying to attend to her needs. When there is a concern they promptly let me know. The admission individual is so very helpful in making sure we get all the paperwork completed correctly as well as working out all the details of bed availability. Thank you all for all your hard work
December 2024
I greatly appreciate The Grand of Dublin staff for taking care of my mom. We work together trying to address my mom’s various needs and it is such a blessing to do that with such caring, patient, and knowledgeable people at the beautiful and unique nursing facility such as Grand!
December 2024
I've had a great experience with The Grand of Dublin. When my mom's alzheimer's had gotten to the point where I could no longer give her the care that she needed, they helped me get her in. The facility is awesome with a little village for the most part on the ground floor. It's a clean and classy place. Also, they take great care of my mom and they are very good in keeping me aware of everything going on with her care, from the nurses and aides, to dieticians, therapists, social staff helping her with being part of the community. They have great communication, and care and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to help care for their parents.
December 2024
Out of one and five they deserve a 10 great food great service highly recommend the grand
December 2024
My mother is currently at the Grand of Dublin receiving physical therapy services . The medical director Dr Katula, has been very thorough in his care for my mother during her stay. The therapy team, clinical managers and floor staff has provided amazing care and patience ! The admissions director worked hands on with our family for a seamless entry. The facility is beautiful and welcoming.
November 2024
The Grand has been a great option for our mother. Charming facility, very caring and hard working staff. Excellent care and activities!
November 2024
Alisha helped explain the process into getting the Grand of Dublin. This place is great. I do not think there is another rehab like this place. It is like a town. The rooms are fabulous and private. Very quiet. Good activities. I.e. Ice cream socials and Happy hour. Therapy is a great help. Good on the body. Food is good. All the staff is kind, great listeners, and attentive. Danielle, the Administrator, is always around to listen and smile. I WILL come back, next year for my next surgery.
September 2024
My mom entered a "rehabilitation" home in Mount Vernon and after 4 days I knew she was not going to get the therapy she needed to even be able to leave that facility. I contacted Alisha in Admissions and by the time she received the transfer paperwork (took the other facility 2 days to send) my mom was accepted w/in 2 days. Alisha was in constant contact with me regarding the transfer and what was needed once we got mom there on Friday. The therapists have met with mom and we have our care team meeting today. (took the other facility 4 days) Everyone has been so great with my mom and we are thankful for The Grand and their acceptance of our mom.
September 2024
Residents are treated with Respect. My mother has dementia and the Grand of Dublin staff quickly figured out her care needs, social interests, and her quirks. Even those who don’t work on her wing know her my name and great her warmly. I’ve felt heard when discussing mom’s changing care needs. Dublin schedules quarterly care meetings to provide a regular opportunity to meet but I find nurses and administrators to be readily available as needed. The aides work extremely hard and have been forthcoming with information on how mom’s day has been when I arrive. Beautiful facility with private rooms with full bathroom. I select mom’s meals from the weekly menu to meet her dietary and taste preferences. The daily calendar of activities contains music, crafts, exercise, and treats. Mom has been a resident 17 months and it has gone much better than it went at her first facility. I cared for mom in my home for 3.5 years and then I moved to her to memory care facilities where I visit her daily. Therefore I believe I have a fairly accurate understanding of mom’s behaviors and needs. And by being a regular visitor I believe I have observed the true commitment of the regular aides and nurses who kindly and respectfully handle the bulk of mom’s care needs. I’m pleased and I’d recommend the Grand of Dublin.

We moved our father in to the Grand recently and I just wanted to share that it has been a wonderful experience so far. The staff at the Grand has been so welcoming to our Dad and to our family. Alisha helped guide us through the application process and was a tremendous help providing information and also reassurance during this challenging time of finding the right home for our Dad. All of the nurses and other staff members have been so friendly and work very hard to help residents feel comfortable. On behalf of our family, I would like to extend our deepest thanks to the Grand. We highly recommend this facility!

I am deeply disappointed with the experience my family had at The Grand of Dublin. Despite the beautiful facility and the excellent sales staff, the actual care and management are utterly lacking, especially in the memory care unit. My father’s health plan was neglected, with no follow-through on critical aspects. Communication was a nightmare; we never received callbacks, even when situations were urgent. When my father was actively dying, it was us, the family, who had to call in hospice care because the staff at The Grand were unhelpful and unresponsive. The leadership at The Grand of Dublin shows a complete lack of empathy and sympathy. This was evident in every interaction we had with them during our difficult time. It's clear that they are more interested in maintaining appearances than providing the necessary care and support for their residents. I strongly advise against placing your loved one in memory care at The Grand of Dublin. Our experience was nothing short of awful, and no family should have to go through what we did.

Laura, my mom, moved to the Grand about six weeks ago. As an centenarian, she was resistant to the idea she might need help, but that is also her life philosophy. So, she gave in and agreed to give it a try. It has worked out beyond wonderful. Within a week, she was telling everyone how much she enjoyed the staff, the care and felt like this is the right choice for her. there has been nothing from positive feedback from her and I have found the staff and facility very easy to work with, available for discussion and engaged with the residents when I am there (which is a fair amount) in and out. I have found it relaxing, quiet and calming. i am in and out at least 4 times a week and always can get an update and tweak things as Laura settles in, Its a good place for Laura to be and she would agree.

My mom just moved to the Grand 2 weeks ago. Everyone we have encountered has been very helpful and kind. Alicia (admissions associate) was wonderful from the minute she gave us a tour - very responsive- checking in with me to see how all was going- and checking in with my mom several days in to make sure she was doing well. So friendly and very helpful!! We are also VERY pleased with physical, occupational and speech therapy. And the nurses and aides have been great. The faculty is very clean and bright with lots of character. We are off to a great start and grateful for the care of our mom.

My mom had a stroke and needed lots of care to rehab fully and make it back home. As her son, it was paramount that I find a place with the full range of therapy services, a clean and maintained environment, kind and caring staff, and proper nutrition to aid in healing. The Grand of Dublin ticked all the boxes and went above and beyond to ensure my mom had everything she needed to rehab her mind and body!! I have worked in a skilled nursing and rehab facility in my career, so I know what proper care looks like. At The Grand, it was on display every single day! The staff was friendly, professional, and always kept me updated on her progress. My mom walked out there on her last day a new person, ready to get back to her life and spend time with me and her granddaughter. I would recommend The Grand without reservation to anyone looking to recovery from a stroke or any kind of medical condition requiring rehabilitation.

My mom is currently a patient at the Grand of Dublin. The care and support she has been receiving is wonderful. The therapist that work with my mom have been impeccable and highly trained.( OT , PT and Speech Therapist). She has improved remarkably in the small amount of time that she has been a resident at the Grand. They have communicated and worked directly with my mom’s team of doctors at The James . This communication and team effort has made my mom’s healing so effective. The Grands team approach is one of their strongest assets. Nursing, social workers, administration, activity director, dietary and therapist all work together to provide the care needed to help my mom become independent. The Grand has been a great fit for mom. Thank you for all that you do and continue to do.

We looked at about 20+ facilities in 1999 for our Mom and hands down this facility was thee nicest. She was in the Memory Care unit for 4 years here then moved to long term care unit before her passing in Apr of this year. She was well taken care of during her stay. Our family really liked the facility and the care offered here. When our brother needed care, it was the first place we thought of. We were excited when he was able to come here as well in the same unit just a few days ago.

I had my first knee replacement last year and returned after my second knee replacement. It’s a lovely facility. The PT and OT staff do a great job in working with your particular issue. The ratio of nurses and nurses aids is such that you get a pretty quick response when needed. They all work in unison. I would recommend The Grand to anyone who needs a skilled nursing facility to rehabilitate.

The Admissions Director really does a great job!

My mother had to have skilled nursing care after her surgery and we were beyond pleased with the condition of the facility, the patient care, quality of food and nursing care. She also need Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy and she was able to reciprocate both of those therapies at the facility in a very open and completely with the most current equipment. The rooms are modern, with a feeling of home throughout the facility. From patient care to social interactions (coffee, shop, chapel with services, hair salon, theatre and open indoor and outdoor space to enjoy a good book, this was a facility that treated her with care and tailored to meet her needs. Would highly recommend the facility for short or long term care

This is my husband's third stay at The Grand for physical therapy. We have been very happy. The staff are very kind and professional. When he pushes his call button, they respond quickly! The physical therapists are very dedicated to getting him strong again so he can go home. We highly recommend The Grand to anyone looking for an excellent facility!!!

Recently, I had a friend fall and break his hip and spent several weeks in rehab at the Grand. The staff, nurses were very tentative to my friends needs. Also, the administrator for the Grand visited many times to check on his care and was fantastic! Great facility with people who really work hard to provide a higher level of service. Because his rehab went so well he was permitted to leave earlier than scheduled to go back to his own home where he continued to get even better. My friend is 90 years old, so for him to make a full recovery at this age is a huge credit to The Grand!

Management very accessible. Administrators cell and picture posted in every room.

My Mom was first at The Grand for rehab after her stroke and that was I think it was 2017 and she loved it. So when she needed more rehab I brought her back in 2021 and while she was in rehab I realized that she couldn't stay home by herself my house have too many stairs. So we talked to the social worker and the rest of her care team she agreed that she liked here and I live close to The Grand so she made transition easy on me. So when a bed came open, we moved her from the rehab down to the memory care unit and it will be 2 years next month. I have been very happy with the staff who takes care of my Mom. Everybody from the administration, nursing staff, and the admissions and the front desk staff they are very friendly, patience, courteous. I am glad my Mom is staying there.

The GRAND was truly a blessing to my family! My grandmother was shown so much love and compassion in the time she spent there. She was in therapy for six weeks and my family was so impressed about how much help she received. She still remembers the names of the staff who took care of her! We are thankful everyday!

The activities director and her staff are amazing and caring. So thankful for their commitment to the elderly!

It is a lovely place. The Wound Care Nurse is the best. Five stars for sure! Day shift people are great. Five stars for them too. shift has many "agency" nurses who don't always seem familiar with care protocols. Definitely a problem. Physical and occupational therapy is a good work out and I made great progress with their assistance.

Sister has been in for 2 months. Very good experience. Have had exceptional wound care from Naa.

I toured this facility with family and it is amazing! Staff and administrators were welcoming. I am impressed with the service and professionalism from the admissions director. Nurses answered are questions and concerns regarding placement. Follow- up is prompt and thorough. I am glad we chose the Grand!

Volunteering is a great way to get more involved the community and meet new people. It's also a great way to build relationships, as well as feel like a part of something bigger than yourself. I am so thankful that my students in Dublin have the opportunity to volunteer each week. We love seeing the residents get excited about our involvement with their lives. The staff always welcome us with open arms.

We love The Grand! My Dad is currently living there ( 99 years old) and he is receiving excellent care. Everyone from the director, nursing staff, therapy staff, to the front desk has been so friendly and helpful. It is a very clean, beautiful facility and I am grateful for their expertise for my dad. He is very happy and I have peace of mind that he is in a safe place. I am there most often for the dinner hour and he always has a great variety of tasty food. We also love that they have a chapel, movie theater, ice cream parlor, and pub area- just to be able to sit in different places to visit. It is a nice change of scenery for my Dad which is so needed. He got a great haircut there ( beauty parlor) and they have several courtyards to utilize when the weather improves for some fresh air (with plenty of seating). I would highly recommend The Grand. I am so grateful we found them!! We looked at many places and I am so relieved that we were able to find a spot at The Grand. Thank you to the excellent staff!!!!

The only this place had going for it for as far as I am concerned is that the aides were very kind and helpful. The only good thing I have to say of this place is that the aides were very helpful. The Grand of Dublin neglected my husband, who was there for rehab after having back surgery. He remained at The Grand for 2 weeks when I insisted he go to the hospital IMMEDIATELY! He was admitted to the hospital lethargic, not able to eat, drink or swallow, severely dehydrated, having C-Diff and pneumonia. He remained in the hospital for 12 days. I would never recommend this place for my loved ones. You can read my review with the BBB.
