I Love the kindness and the clean facilities. The reception is very nice. Ms Natalie is very concerned and on top of that everything with my dad in room 107 Frederick Armstrong. The transportation dept Mr Kendall Washington was amazing getting dad to his appointments and on time. Thank you staff the Nurses are amazing. The food dad not so happy with. My father is 90 and has dementia. He has been at an assisted living facility for the past two years and I didn’t realize some facilities let you stay and go on Medicaid. The facility he was at does not accept Medicaid so I had to move him. Brian at Walnut Creek has been amazing to work with during this frustrating and stressful process. He was so nice and helpful form the first time I spoke with him to the day my father got moved to Walnut Creek. So many other facilities wouldn’t even return my call or gave me false hope. My father had to be out of the assisted living facility he was living at by the end of June and with Brian and Teesha’s help they made it happen. Thank you so much Brian and Teesha I appreciate you more than you will ever know!!

This was my father first time here. And my first day today visiting. I am very blessed ™ because they made me feel heard about questions I had and very helpful. I will do other review once my dad has gotten the rehab part done but so far I am pleased with the out come even though I been their once.

Went downhill really quickly. Severely understaffed and like others say they are using an outside agency to help staff and so these people often don't show up and don't know the the patients so seem not to care. If you have a family member bed ridden they will not get the support needed and getting through on the phone to anyone at the top is difficult. The doctor seldemly is there. I don't blame the nurses there they are just overwhelmed and the aides too it is from the top down. If your family member can walk and can do much on their own then it may not be so bad

The care in the AL is great. But I found some information out. The facility just recently has been sold. But NO ONE has been told and the families should have been told. The sale happened at the end of June so we (families) should have already known. My question is when will the families know? Also what does this mean for the families that are paying for there loved ones care?

My father is a current memory car resident. The care and communication has been excellent. The nurses and aides are patient, kind and care about the residents. A nurse named Beth consistently goes above and beyond for my dad and family. I cannot praise her enough with her care, approach and communication with us. Thank you! Long term care can be emotionally and physically taxing for families and the staff, you hear bad stories about LTC with burned out staff or poor conditions. I feel this facility is not one of these places. Nurses, STNAs and all staff at WC really care about the residents here. I have not met one aide that wasn't dedicated, kind and gentle with the patients here and they are the backbone of LTC! Thank you STNAs at WC! So grateful for all of you!

Saved my Mother's life! My Mother was discharged from hospital that gave up on her. She was dying & Walnut Creek staff established protocol to get to the underlying cause & treated. She is currently recovering. So grateful for the staff. They are super friendly & competent. Thank you Walnut Creek!

I spent ten days at Walnut Creek, and it's a lovely facility. Unfortunately, there is often an offensive odor in the area where there are permanent residents. The nursing staff is very friendly but slow to answer calls. Also, I was only offered assistance with a bath once during my time there. The therapists were great and helped me to be able to leave without fear.

My parents are long term residents at Walnut Creek. Over the past few months, WC has strived to hire additional staff to care for residents. I’m happy to report that I’ve witnessed first hand some of the issues below being addressed. I personally spoke to the director of nursing to praise the changes and progress. I’m vigilant about ensuring their care levels remain exceptional. Things are changing at Walnut Creek and for the better.
