The kitchen staff and the Woodlands of Columbus are exceptionally professional and caring towards the residence and the family members. Mr. Curtis and Ms. Shamika have accommodated menu items for my mother at a moments notice. My sister and I really appreciate these two and the entire kitchen staff. Also, two of the patient assistance personnel deserve recognition for their tireless care for the residents- Ms. Nancy and Ms. Lea. If only we could clone you... Kerah, the activities director for Magnolia Trails works, tirelessly engaging the residents with activities. She is always available to do things that fall outside of her job description because she genuinely cares for the wellbeing of the community. Lastly, Ms. Vicki who supervises the cleaning crew is remarkable in that she addresses any concerns quickly and comprehensively. These individuals exemplify the meaning of allyship in the workplace- everyone working for the common good of all. Thank you all for being decent caring human beings!

I’ve taken my mom to many assisted living places for respite care. Often, I was not pleased at all. I was apprehensive to try Woodlands, but it has turned out to be a blessing. I’ve never come in where I have seen her in dirty clothes or not being taken care of. It’s such a joy to visit and not hear her complaining. I just wish there were more areas to sit and have a cup of coffee to visit. Places to go outside. The care really is great to everyone. Everyone I see is friendly and always asking my mom what she needs. My mom is a resident here and I never get phone calls like I did when she was in respite care at other places Where I would need to go and address something. I am so glad I am at ease and she seems happy and taken care of.

I was in the Woodlands Recently and encountered very friendly staff. I was greeted by the very friendly front desk, staff and received good support from administration. The facility was being actively cleaned and was very tidy! It is wonderful to see a well running machine!

I visited my Uncle at The Woodlands. He is in his later years. The staff, Mr Jones and Ms. Carol were kind enough to set up the sound system in the dining room so my Uncle and I could enjoy some Steppin (dancing Chicago style) My uncle was able to get his movement in for the day. Stopped by to see my mom and complete COAAA Level of Care Assessment for the Medicaid Waiver with COAAA. Her room smelled upon entry, but I was told she had just had a large BM. Her shirt was soiled with coffee and somewhere brown substance. There was also something brown under her nails and on her hands. I cleaned them the best I could. This was embarrassing as COAAA was present to see her in this condition. Also, one of her wheelchairs is missing.

My Dad has been living at the Woodlands since May of 2023. He has had a wonderful experience! The staff are attentive and caring and the residents are great. He has activities to participate in to keep him busy and the food is delicious! I have eaten many meals with him. The atmosphere is really upbeat and the have a nice area in the lobby with a tv and couches that make you feel at home. It is nicely decorated for the holidays and they invite family to visit and participate in holiday meals.

Took a tour with Kelly. The facility was very clean and dinner smelled amazing. Kelly was very kind and extremely helpful with information. The rooms are a little small, but very nice. Very nice facility. Kelly was wonderful.

Staff very helpful. Elizabeth's TV was not connected to the Cable system and had hidden her remote. Aid found the issue with both. I connected her TV to the cable outlet(outlet's connector was pushed back into the outlet box very hard to connect). Disturbed on how long that had been going on(possibly as long as the room was flooded and carpet had been replaced). Overall a very positive visit

Someone checked on my loved one 2x during my approximately hour and a half visit. She seemed to be getting her medication, despite the complicated instructions, and did show improvement at her follow up appointment.

We considered 8-10 AL facilities before choosing Woodlands. Convenience & cost were VERY important criteria, as was primary expectation of Safety & Happiness. Also a positive reputation was reinforced by unsolicited feedback from multiple acquaintances - in fact, reports of a positive experience was unanimous from EVERYONE.

I've had the honor of visiting this Community for many years! The staff are welcoming, professional and alot of positive energy! As a reflection of a happy positive environment, the residents show the same energy! The activities and entertainment are out of this world! Family night and Halloween were my favorite! Family engaged and participation is unbelievable! The Community is safe and clean. The grounds in the summer are well manicured with a lovely front porch to sit and relax to enjoy the outdoors! This Community doesn't disappoint!

We couldn't ask for a more excellent, cleaner, and active place than the Woodlands for mom to live. Independent yet closely watched over, she feels safe and secure. Covid has not been easy on any assisted living, but The Woodlands has tried hard to keep the residents engaged and communicating with staff to keep their minds active. Getting mom to the dining room as much as possible, helping her when we window-visit, and most important”playing games, especially bingo, has been a gift.

The Woodlands of Columbus is like a second family to me. The one story floor plan is so appropriate for safety, it’s large enough for diversity, but small enough for attention. I have had family members there since 2014. The care and activities have been awesome, especially during CoVid restrictions. The staff treat the residents like their own family members. They have worked really hard to continue to engage the residents with activities, thank you Kerah and Shelly!!!!

Placing someone in an assisted living is never easy. The Woodlands made the process so easy. The staff is so caring toward my grandmother. Going from being a caregiver to not being able to access her because of covid. They have been amazing! Checking on her. Creating safe activities. Putting her Christmas decorations up. Making sure she’s safe!!! I am so grateful for The Woodlands
