I’m new to Danbury, but it’s quite clear this is a wonderful place to live. The facility feels very safe and secure. Activities are numerous and varied to meet a broad range of needs. Members of the management and staff are kind, caring, knowledgeable, available, and treat me courteously and respectfully. And my cats each vote “paws up” for Danbury, which is pet-friendly. Can’t forget to mention the food, which will make your eyes roll with delight! Treat yourself to a visit here. And, yes, I am a real resident, not a salesperson. Danbury memory care has been the perfect place for my mother-in-law. We love the staff. They do a fabulous job of caring for her and keeping her active and engaged in the activities she likes to do. Danbury was a wonderful place for our Dad. The room was big.with wide and easily accessible hallways and elevators. Most importantly the Staff constantly went above and beyond to build a great relationship with Dad. All staff members treated Dad with dignity, care and respect. This was appreciated by the entire family. Staff encouraged the family to come by to visit Dad at any time. Danbury was a positive experience and provided great care for Dad. The staff was proactive and open in communicating with us and physicians. Meals and food were very good. Staff worked to make sure there were opportunities for socialization during meals. Activity groups had good variety and were interesting to attend. The building was kept neat and tidy both in Dads room, the hallways and landscaping. Danbury is a great value socially, physically and financially.

My mother was a resident at Danbury Senior Living on Snouffer Road for about three (3) years. During that time she was treated wonderfully by the staff and nurses. They provided the assistance she needed after suffering two strokes, helping her dress, shower, and get to meals. I travel a lot with my job so was not able to be with her most of the time. But I never worried about how she was treated or being taken care of. The facility is bright and sunny, kept very clean and provides as many social opportunities and activities as possible. Socials, exercise, crafts, concerts, movies to name a few of what the residents can take part in. The staff know each residents likes and dislikes and do their best to accommodate them. My mother passed away a couple of months ago and the staff could not have been more comforting. Each resident is like family to them. I have never regretted the decision in choosing Danbury for my mothers care, I highly recommend the facility.

Dad loves Danbury! We are so fortunate he chose to live here. Its been 7 months and hes still going on about how great the place is. Hes very involved in the community and has made new friends. He loves the weekly outings to lunch and the daily activities (especially chair volleyball). Danbury is spacious, clean and welcoming. The staff is so attentive (especially to new residents), friendly and fun. We would highly recommend Danbury to any family looking for independent or assisted living for their loved one.

My Grandmother recently moved into this community and I must say my expectations have been exceeded by far more than I imagined. We moved her in on a weekend since I live out of town and wanted to be there to assist my parents. I was pleasantly surprised when we were greeted by the head Chef, Kristie if my mind serves me right. She was extremely helpful and so very kind. She made Nana feel comfortable and welcome right from the start. She offered to help get Nana situated and offered her a seat in the dining room as it was nearing lunch. We ended up staying for lunch with Nana and the food was amazing! The servers were very kind and Kristie came back to ensure we were satisfied with our meal. The Nursing Aides were very kind and helpful and kept Nana busy while we got her room set up. Needless to say, I was extremely happy with the care and compassion not only Nana received but we as the family received as well. I know we made the right choice for Nana and look forward to visiting when we come back into town. AND there will be a plus 2 for lunch! Simply delicious!

My father moved onto the Danbury Memory Care Unit at the end of January 2020. Everyone has been loving and kind which has made my fathers adjustment to his new environment so much easier. Thank you for the loving care he has received.

We looked at a few different places when we looked at places for my father-in-law last year. We really liked Danbury as soon as we walked in and met with some of the staff. We are so glad he chose Danbury! He has met lots of friends and really enjoys all of the activities. We couldnt be happier with how well Chuck has adjusted to his new home and we know the staff at Danbury is the #1 reason he is thriving. Thank you for helping all of us adjust to this new stage of Chucks life!

Danbury staff are very caring and go the extra mile to be sure residents are happy, safe, and well cared for. The facility is bright and airy, and is kept very clean. They bring in excellent entertainment, and the activities ladies are fun and make sure everyone feels welcome to participate in events. My mom really likes getting her nails done every week for free! Compared to other businesses, the staff is much more responsive and friendly. I highly recommend Danbury!

My Dad loves Danbury and so do we. All of the staff are friendly and wonderful. Since my Dad can no longer live at his home this was the next best place. We looked at several places and Danbury was the best fit. It gives my Dad a feeling of home. He has flourished there!

My mother has been a resident of Danbury for almost a year. The facilities are excellent, the food is very good and the care she has received has been a fabulous. Her apartment is a very good size and is cleaned weekly. The staff takes care of my mother with respect, dignity and love. There are many types of dementia and the staff knows the tips and tricks on how to redirect their patients behavior and provide appropriate activities. Music therapy is provided several days a week and the patients dance, sing and play tambourines. My mother was in our home for several years and although difficult to place her in a facility, this is the best there is. We are so pleased and happy with the care, attention and love that she receives from the aides up to management. She is happy and cared for. Many thanks to those at Danbury for helping us to enjoy the years left.
