I loved understanding how the design of the rooms was deliberate and intentional based on what aging people need at different phases. Kate Berwanger Director has helped with the transition and is so good with my husband and the rest of the Harmony Square residents. 5 STARS They do a lot of fun stuff and don’t leave the residents to rot in their rooms . Kate Berwanger the activities director has been so wonderful to volunteer for playing my guitar for the Memory Center. It’s so obvious how much she loves her job taking care of everyone there. That constant smile on her face can’t be faked! I know this is the facility that I would want my relatives in simply because I know that Kate Berwanger works there! The rest of the staff are amazing, caring people also! The people there are blessed to be at Harmony of Anderson!!! Lucky isn’t the right word!!!

My father has lived at Harmony at Anderson for over about 2 years. He moved in to Harmony with his significant other. She recently passed away after a lot of health challenges. The staff at Harmony is incredible. Not only did they take excellent care of my Dad's partner - they took and continue to take excellent care of my Dad. When his partner was going through her health challenges and was completely bedridden, so many of the staff members at Harmony checked on her every day. Not just Medical staff, but dining servers, maintenance people and others. They also went above and beyond to ensure myself and other family members who were visiting from out of town were fed and comfortable. I work in the home care industry and cannot recommend Harmony enough. Under the leadership of the Executive Director, Jeremy, they treat their residents like family and truly care.

My father is in the memory care unit and loves it. They do a great job keeping the residents busy and happy. I have encountered so many dedicated and capable staff during his stay there. It gives me great comfort knowing he is in good hands. Kate has been extremely helpful and responsive. She is truly a gem in what is a difficult situation to navigate through I need to add a few shout outs to my review. I hope I don’t forget anyone. Summer, Randi, Angel & Maddie are the best. My dad loves you all and I never worry when I leave him in your hands. I know the work you do can be stressful but I’ve never experienced any of you having a bad day. At times I know you go above and beyond and I really appreciate it. Caring for a parent with memory issues is difficult and I’m grateful for what you all do to help his family through the transition. Keep up the good work. We’re so glad dad has such kind and caring people he can rely on

My sincere thanks and appreciation go to Harmony’s fine staff and management personnel. My brother has been living at Harmony for two months. Zandra did a fine job introducing us to Harmony and then helping in every way possible during my brother’s move to assisted living. It’s clear that she is happy to be part of the Harmony community and wants residents to be happy, too. Jeremy has been hands-on from the beginning and smoothed the way during my brother’s recent move from assisted living to memory care, reducing his stress and mine. Kate’s proactive, caring involvement has had a very positive effect on my brother’s initial weeks in memory care. Upon learning that my brother enjoys outdoor walks, dogs, and visiting with a friend from assisted living, she promptly arranged for those things to happen. I have been impressed by the positive, caring energy these three and others at Harmony share with residents and their families.

Absolutely one of the most difficult decisions children have to make as their parents age and need more care than we can give them. Putting our Dad into Memory Care came with so much sadness. He has been there since November, and I can see that we made an amazing decision for him! He does activities all day that keep his brain busy, goes to Physical and Occupational Therapy. Can we take away his Alzheimer's, we wish. But right now, I see him happy. He may not remember what he did all day, but he's happy. I live out of town and Kate sends me pictures of him during the week. Her and her team are AMAZING! To take time during her busy day to send me a picture of my dad, she just doesn't know the comfort that comes with those pictures. He is well fed and healthy. Any issues I need address are addressed in a timely, friendly way. It's beyond hard to hand over your parent to the care of others, but this has been exactly what he needed and where he needed to be. Anyone who is faced with needing to move a loved one into an assisted living or memory care facility can relate to what an extremely difficult decision and process that can be. Mom moved into Harmony at Anderson memory care almost a year ago and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the environment Harmony provides and the excellent care she receives. She is safe, actively participates in the many daily activities offered, is very well fed, has made many new friends and is carefully and compassionately cared for by Kate and her dedicated staff. Kate leads from her heart and deeply and personally cares for each resident at Harmony. It is of great comfort to us knowing that Mom is safe, comfortable and happy in her new home and I’d like to offer my sincere thanks for the wonderful care my mother is receiving at Harmony at Anderson.

Harmony at Anderson is the best!! I’m a full time performer, specializing in music for seniors. In the past two years I’ve done 229 programs, at 63 different facilities in the Cincinnati area. Of these places, Harmony is the place I would recommend first. Kate is phenomenal with the Memory Care residents in Harmony Square! She, and her team get folks involved, and it’s obvious how deeply she cares. On the Assisted Living side, it’s always a pleasure doing programs with Rachel and her team. Kate and Rachel and all the staff at Harmony at Anderson make visiting there a very positive experience, and from talking with the residents I can tell it’s a great place to live. I’ve recently recommended Harmony to two relatives I care deeply about.

The staff is attentive, compassionate, and takes the time to get to know each resident as an individual, which makes a real difference in the quality of care. The rooms are well maintained. The food is also exceptional, far better than what we have seen at other local memory care facilities. It is well prepared, nutritious, and something residents actually enjoy. My father has been living at Harmony for about a year now. He started in the assisted living wing, but had to transition to a memory care unit b/c of his cognitive decline. Dealing with dementia brings about a lot of challenges, and I'm incredibly grateful for the care that Jeremy and the staff at Harmony provide for my father and others. Kate B has been absolutely incredible and I can't thank her enough for dealing with some of the issues that have come up. I've seen first hand how much she truly cares, and told me how much she loves her job and loves "her residents". It takes a special person to work in a memory care unit and it's very comforting to know that Kate and her staff are those kind of people.

My mother has been in the Assisted Living for about 2 years and now she in Memory Care. The move to Memory Care was difficult at first for her. The manager/supervisor (Kate ) was outstanding getting us settled in. She has a wonderful group of patient care aides. They are very helpful and treat every patient with dignity and respect. Kate has the respect of her staff. When your loved one is treated with a smile and recognition and respect , the family feels very grateful that they made the right decision to come to Harmony.

My mother has been here at Harmony since January. Zandra was extremely helpful and friendly and thorough in our careful search for a memory care home for her. The facility always looks new and clean. The front desk workers who greet us are always pleasant, and Jeremy always responds right away to any questions I send by email, and he is also very polite and approachable. Kate is always very kind to my mother and all the residents, and she does an amazing job at being organized and making sure there are activities for them. She makes communication easy, which is a God send when you have a loved one who is experiencing Alzheimers. She does go above and beyond to help understand our loved ones and to help us do the best we can for them in their condition. Thanks, Kate! I realize it is difficult to not have a more frequent turn-around with aides in this line of work since it isn't easy, but I do wish there was more consistency, and a little more help on the weekends. I feel like there's a lot of pressure on the few that are there. Working in the Square is not easy! But at least, since I visit frequently, any concerns I have that I express, they have been willing to rectify to our satisfaction.

My mom has been a resident here in the assisted living area of the facility for 2 years now. She has gone thru many changes in management and I’m happy to say the current team seems to be a winner! The managing director, Jeremy, has taken charge and has fixed all of the growing pains of a new facility and Vivian, who really runs the place, ( sorry Jeremy!!) is always a joy. My mom says that whenever she calls Vivian at the front desk, that Vivian makes mom feel as tho she’s the only one in the entire building! The aides have been great and apparently, this place has the best soup in town!

I have never felt so cared about and cared for as I did after speaking to Amy. I have a family member in the Square. The aides are amazing. I am somewhat disappointed that regular aides are no longer consistently assigned to the Square as they know the residents best and I feel it is important for those that want to be here and are effective should be allowed to work in the Square. I also feel having 3 aides consistently is important for all they are responsible for. I am grateful for Kate and all the activities that she initiates. She is a real keeper. She has such a positive attitude and brings a warmth and happiness to the residents.

Harmony at Anderson is such a beautiful, clean and friendly community. Aimee LaPine took me on a tour. This was my first experience in looking for a retirement community so I had many questions. Aimee was so patient in answering them. Aimee & all the staff are very caring. There was such a feeling of family between the staff and residence. In addition, a huge benefit that I found unique with Harmony is that they charge 1 price that includes the room, food, care etc. Other places has a rate for room and food etc but they charge additional fees for the type/level of care needed. The cost for care can add $1500 or more per month, depending on the Level of Care needed. As your love one ages, that Level of Care will continue to increase, as will the monthly price for the needed care. If you are looking for a retirement community for you or your loved one, I very much recommend you tour Harmony at Anderson. You will be very pleased.

My sister has been a resident at Harmony at Anderson for about two months. She loves it! The staff are welcoming and the residents are friendly. The activities staff makes sure the events are varied, interesting and fun. My sister especially enjoys the manicures. Kate is so patient and enthusiastic while doing everyone’s nails. My sister also enjoys the musical talents that Alex brings to such activities as sing-a-longs, name that tune and even the medleys played between Bingo games. Thanks Harmony at Anderson for providing a safe and fun environment for your guests. And I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Vivian. What a breath of fresh air to greet each visitor.

"We are Family" that is the song I think of when I walk into Harmony of Anderson to visit my best friend - a resident in their Memory Care Unit. The facility and the people who work there are so warm to the residents, their families and friends. The food is excellent and being able to go out to dinner with my best friend in their dining room is a real treat. It is filled with music, other welcoming residents and their families which makes for such a special evening. My best friend (resident of Harmony) loves the nurses, care managers and other staff who take care of her. She has made so many new friends at Harmony and so have I. The executive director is top notch and her staff is amazing. They are knowledgeable and strive to improve the lives of everyone living there.
