We visited as a potential residence for my parents. Beautiful facility, friendly staff, location convenient to resources for the independent seniors, and fun outings. They are able to provide a la carte care services before full assisted living is needed, or for one parent while my other parent is out. I believe they will be able to relieve some of the primary caregiver strain my mom has been feeling, and let her relax when she needs to be away for a time. I definitely recommend checking out Independence Village for your loved one.

My tour of the building was excellent. Saw 3 different types of rooms so I could see the options. Morgan was very patient and listened to everything I had to say. I met several other employees while there and all were very outgoing. Loved that some have been there 10-20 years

Independent Village Aurora Ohio is a great choice for our mother. She is cared for in a well-maintained facility. She has been there three years and enjoys her apartment. She has made friends and been involved in the activities. It is the right place, at the right time for her and definitely recommend.

IV Aurora has some of kindest people living and working here. They really welcome someone new and "show them the ropes." The choices of how to spend their time are remarkable--painting, bell choir, even virtual college classes! The food smells, looks and tastes amazing. Employees go above and beyond every day you can tell that their hearts are 100% into what they do.

My parents spent their entire adult lives in one house except for when they moved to IV the last 2 years of their lives. After a few months of adjustment, they considered IV of Aurora their home and the staff and caregivers their family. The love that comes from IV is palpable. Everyone who works there are 100% dedicated to happiness and well being of every resident. Our family was blessed to find Independence Village.

I always enjoy my experience at Independence Village. Everyone is so happy and cheerful and it always feels very welcoming. The staff is very accommodating and go above and beyond with any request I've had. The activities are great and there is so much to do! The food is top notch. I always enjoy coming to visit IV and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a community for their loved one.

This is a wonderful community for seniors. A friendly, welcoming atmosphere is evident to all. I've noticed examples of new friendships that thrive. Residents and staff have been supportive of each other throughout this difficult year. Activities are carefully designed and carried out by a talented staff of professionals. I have performed regularly at Independence Villages, and all of the residents seem very happy and well taken care of. The dining room and the food looks amazing, the staff always cheerful and professional, lookng after all of the residents needs with care. My mother resides at Independence Village in the independent living section. She is pleased with the care; everyone is friendly and professional, however the staff turnover is concerning. The meals could be better--we know they are trying. The activities are varied; a lot of educational offerings, and trips to the community are adequate.

This community has a great focus on their resident satisfaction. The Life Enrichment department does a great job in finding the interest of the resident and bringing fun activities to them on a daily basis. I was even surprised to witness the managers address each resident by name. They also keep the building very tidy and clean. You will quickly find trust in the lively management team at this community.
