As a current resident of this facility I am extremely dissatisfied with the care and so called amenities. The food is awful and they don't have different diet food choices. I have been trying for over 9 months to get transferred to another facility for a much better rehab program and the staff here has done nothing. I came in for rehab and now I can't even walk. Please don't come here.

I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care provided to my father by the staff at the Essex Center. The nursing team is kind, always ensuring that he is comfortable and well-cared for. The administrative staff handled all our concerns promptly and efficiently. I can't thank them enough for their exceptional service.

I am giving 4 stars because we had a little issue in the beginning of my mother's stay and it was fixed pretty well. Today, my mom got to go home. This place I feel performed a miracle because in 3-4 weeks my mother was unable to walk and today she walked out without the use of a walker. The work staff are amazing and when we brought things up, they took care of them. Thanks to Rose, and the other ladies and gentlemen that took care of my mother. We are extremely happy with the results!!

Most of the staff were amazing. My Mother was very happy with her SLP and PT. Unfortunately I was told at a transition meeting there would be several services set up. I was led to believe that alternate services were set up for my Mom's discharge when Medicare did not cover the initial services. I got my Mother home to discover nothing was set up for my mother leaving her living situation dangerous. I had to get APS involved the Social Worker at Essex said I was aware of the lack of services which was definitely not the case. Then when the Hospital Social Worker called the same Social Worker said she thought I would be staying with my Mom full time. I work out of State which she also knew would not be the case. As a result of her lack of planning and rush to get my Mother out of the rehab she is not able to stay in her apartment.

The staff is outstanding and welcoming. They provide amazing attention for each resident's needs. Highly recommended with ***** stars. My love to them. Working here is enjoyable, and my coworkers and I love getting to know the seniors.

I called the there and was able to speak to someone right away. All I had to do is dial "0" for the operator. Easy. Staff was able to direct me in the right direction .

Essex center is good and excellent service. These type of center must be in every estate in U.S.A and other countries. Always respect for good effort. Best wishes for those who run it.
