The Neighborhood House has been an absolute life saver for my mother and myself. As her sole caregiver for 6 years with dementia I was extremely overprotective and nervous to trust someone else with her care. They have gone above and beyond to help her transition there and I can not say enough about to staff! They are in constant communication with me and it feels like she has gained several daughters in the employees there. They treat her like their own mother, and send me pictures of her. They are always helping her call me, and they even allow residents to have their pets! The employees bring their dogs to work sometimes which my mom loves, and they are always helping her to sit outside and encouraging friendships. I would recommend this spot to anybody who is looking for assisted living for their loved ones. They have an amazing financial assistance program, which was absolutely necessary for my family. Do yourself a favor and schedule a tour ASAP!
