I visited this Beautiful facility via a marketing Social. "Chocolate and Cocktails". The Concierge gives you a very warm greeting upon entering. Inside the building is absolutely stunning. Sales staff was very down to earth and knowable about the property and all that it has to offers. The staff greeted you as you walked by and one even stopped to have an enlightening conversation with me, which left me feeling the staff really loves the residents which she regarded as "like family". The place is extremely clean and the apartments are very nice. I left the Social with enough confidence to recommend The Club to my clients to start the next chapter of their lives.

Over a year ago, I made the difficult decision to move my mother from another independent living facility to assisted living at The Club. I was extremely nervous, as she was still mostly independent at the age of 95, but I wanted to make a choice for her before she actually needed more help. There is much negative information out there about assisted living places, but I believe I found the very best place for her. She is now in hospice at the Club, but from the day we moved in until today, we have experienced nothing but the best care for her. There has been no exceptions. People who work there are warm, helpful, friendly and always willing to help with a myriad of issues. I would give a most special acknowledgment to Kathtrin, the Health and Wellness director, who has been the most incredibly kind, knowledgable and loving person to my mom and to our family. I don't know what I would do without this woman-she is an example of when a person finds the most perfect occupation for themselves. Her passion about doing the best for the residents shows in everything she does and I am so very grateful to her. So, residents may complain about food, but my experience has been that this is a common complaint in every place that needs to feed 3 meals a day to large numbers of people. I actually think they try really hard to meet all its residents needs. One more comment about Assisted Living at the Club. Residents have beautiful apartments. They are not on a "unit" with small rooms. They receive as much or as little assitance as they need and all Club activities are available for them. As my mother nears the end of her days, I am grateful that she is at home and that the Club has such a good relationship with Hospice. They have worked as a team and my mother is getting the best care possible. It gives me great comfort to know others care about her and are there for all of us.

I can’t say enough good things about this assisted living community. The price compared to other NYC locations with a view of the Hudson cannot be beat! The staff here is truly exceptional”always friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile to ensure my father feels comfortable and cared for. The apartment sizes are also a huge plus, offering more space compared to other sub par facilities we visited in the Westchester area. It truly feels like a home rather than just a place to stay.

I have recently moved in to the Club at Briarcliff Manor and it is the best decision I have ever made. I currently live in the independent living part of the facility. The staff could not be more welcoming and efficient and I have found all of the residents very friendly and inclusive. I can be as busy as I want to be any day of the week. If, down the road, I need additional assistance and need to relocate my residence to the assisted living building on the property. the only thing that will change would be the dining room setting. When you enter the lobby , it is like entering a 5-star hotel. It is bright, clean and full of life. I feel safe and have never slept better in my life because I feel safe. My family is also grateful knowing that I’m safe and around other people to talk to and no longer feel isolated and alone for the first time since becoming a widow 24 years ago I and retiring in March of 2023.

My mother moved in earlier this month. I have been so impressed with the general attitude of the people who work there. They are so incredibly helpful, and really very nice. This feels so much more like a "retirement community" than an assisted living facility. It feels like a plush hotel with concierge service that is really helpful. There is so much to do! I was very concerned that my mom was going to be the last one left out of all of her friends. I wanted her in a place where she could meet people and still do all the things she likes to do, like playing bridge, Canasta, watching movies, going for a walk with a group. It's still early yet, but she seems very happy. Everyday she tells me her plans for what her day and her night will be. I love that there is so much for her to do! My mom is one of those people who just likes what she likes when it comes to food. Well, she likes the food that they serve there! It's such a relief! We all know how difficult it can be when it comes to food with older people. I really feel like my mom is in a wonderful apartment in a great area with people who care.

Except for dining and transportation, The Club at Briarcliff Manor is "home" to me as an independent living resident. The apartments are fully equipped and beautiful, as are the community areas, and the staff is friendly and dedicated. Varied activities make life interesting including off-site trips to museums, theatre, concerts restaurants and more. The Club, surrounded by woods, provides an idyllic setting but it is remotely located and transportation is limited.

We helped my father move into The Club at the height of COVID. The staff worked with us to make the move quick and efficient, and most importantly safe. COVID made for tough times for everyone as businesses closed and people stayed home, but the team at The Club were always interacting with dad by stopping by his apartment, his table at the restaurant, or when they met in the hallway to say hello, or ask how everything was. While my father spoke highly of the entire team at The Club, he would also mention those he felt went above and beyond expectations. Just to name a few: Jackie always treated him with great care and respect. He appreciated her caring nature and willingness to help. Rich was also always very kind and patient and made sure that my dad reached his appointments on time and without incident. One of the go-to offices my father said he could always rely on was the Concierge’s / front desk team; and last but certainly not least, was the Executive Director, Sara Humphreys. Our father and the whole family appreciated her hands-on style. We always knew that if there were any issues or questions we could reach out to Ms. Humphreys who would be quick to respond or help. I will certainly be recommending The Club to family and friends and will be sharing the stories of my father’s positive experiences.

My mother moved in last July and was living in an independent facility which was wonderful. Unfortunately the isolation from Covid did a number on her brain. By the time we moved her in she went to assistant living and other medical issues happened which made us move her to Memory Care. I have had only wonderful experiences @ the Club. The Staff starting at the front desk to all the help in MC care are all so caring, friendly and professional. Sara, William, Cheryl & Jenna could not be more helpful. The Nurses and aids are unbelievable and care for my mom like it was there own mom. They also care about the families. I recommend the Club to anyone who is considering making this their home.

As the child of the first resident to move in, I commend The Club for managing to keep our parents safe during the past year. During the past few months the population has grown tremedously and the staff has somehow managed despite the horrible external circumstances. As The Club has been able to reopen, I commend them for arranging so many activities to get our parents out and begin socializing again . I have had contact with so many staff and all have bent over backwards to assist- even the kitchen The food is less than stellar but given the last year and keeping everyone safe and attended to without families allow entrance , I am confident this will improve

My father is having a wonderful experience living at The Club. Aside from being new, beautiful, incredible river views, and having great food - the people that work there are unusually kind and generous with their time and attention. I am comparing my dads experience here to several awful years at Atria in Ossining which mixed all residents together - no matter how ill. That place was super expensive and just not very good. The Club is not only reasonably priced, but you can put your mind at ease because Sara Humphrey and her staff are remarkably attentive and service oriented. Sara recently helped my family by convincing my dad to go to the hospital - he was being stubborn , and it turned out that he had pneumonia. He quickly recovered and is doing great - she made sure that he received 3 meals per day to His room, and that he was getting better. I live in Irvington, and though only 20 minutes away - I feel certain that my dad has an incredibly beautiful and warm home at The Club.

My mom moved into The Club last November and she (we) have been very happy with our experience from the get-go. The facilities are brand-spanking new and are beautiful with views of the Hudson River all the way down to NYC. The staff has been friendly and helpful and mom has made some great friends. We lived in Westchester for many years and it has been fun for mom to get reacquainted with others from our home town. My wife and I even ran into some of our HS classmates who also have parents there. Covid has been a major concern for older folks and The Club’s staff has risen to the challenge putting the health and safety of their residents first. I certainly recommend The Club to anyone looking for a safe, friendly and inviting environment to enjoy their golden years!
