My daughters and I brought my husband, Joe, to Atria several months ago. He is very strong and willful but has lost a lot of cognitive ability. We were anxious about his ability to adjust to living in the Life Guidance area, but we need not have worried. Joe has adjusted beautifully. He plays pool nearly every day and surprisingly he attends the exercise classes and has participated in arts and crafts. He loves the food and the staff. Marie, the RN, and Gina, the Life Guidance director have been especially helpful in assisting his change to a completely different kind of living.

I never expected to feel like every dinner in a senior living community would feel so special. So festive. So delicious. So fun! What we experience here at Atria on the Hudson in our dining room is a daily treat. Our wonderful chef Chris Spezial runs the culinary show.. and he is very talented, creative, fun and very attentive to our individual tastes and the little special extra things we all enjoy. His culinary skills make dinner feel like going out every night. He and his amazing kitchen staff and wait staff do a great job every day. All are very professional and patient, warm, helpful and understanding. All are very accommodating to each resident. Chris makes special cocktails, healthy salads, sides and wonderfully delicious entrees. Desserts here are truly photo worthy. I never expected dinner time to feel so special again, so warm, so welcoming, and so surprisingly fun every day. Kudos to Chef Chris and his amazing team for providing a beautiful culinary experience and welcoming atmosphere as a part of our daily lives here at the Atria!

Mom's "move in day", although emotional and hectic, Marie couldn't have made it smoother. A fantastic lunch at the "bar" was the icing on the cake. We had a beautiful lunch yesterday with our Mom at Atria on the Hudson! It was her first day there and we didn’t really know what to expect. There were 7 of us there fir lunch and they were able to accommodate all of us which made Mom very happy. Then a smiling your man came out and introduced himself as our server. His name is Justin. Let me just say he was so friendly and accommodating that he made all of us feel so welcomed and comfortable. He took our orders by our name and helped us to understand all our menu options. When he brought our food out he knew all of our names already and made us feel like we knew him for years. We had a lot of fun with him. Our food not only looked delicious it tasted delicious as well. We can’t thank Justin and the kitchen staff enough for making Mom and all of us feel so welcome. The whole experience was absolutely delightful! Thanks again to Justin and Marie and all the staff members we met yesterday for making her first day at Atria a wonderful memory. Marie even took a picture for us. Thanks to all!!!!

My mother has been living at the Atria on the Hudson since mid-March of this year. It has definitely been a transition for her and for us as well. We were really worried about our mother's transition into the community. The staff at the Atria have been nothing but kind, helpful and tolerant of our many questions and requests. Andi, the Engage Life Director, has gone out of her way to make sure that my mother is meeting people and able to attend the trips that the Atria sponsors. She answers our emails and texts quickly, with warmth and respect. She knows the residents and genuinely wants them to feel at home and comfortable. My mother loves the musical guests that Andi has brought into the community. Lexi works with Andi. She too knows every community member by name and is very patient and kind to them. Marie, the director of nursing, is also patient and kind. She answers our text messages and emails quickly. She has helped us with medication changes and care for my mother. She has a big heart. Heather, the head of housekeeping, helped us by adding more lighting to my mother's bathroom as she has an issue with her vision, that makes it hard for her to see. She too has a warm smile and always responds to our emails right away. Dan, the maintenance director and his staff (Christian in particular) have been very responsive when my mother needed helped with her heat, hanging pictures, a light bulb change and a couch delivery. Naomi, the social worker, helped us with insurance paper work and questions regarding my mother's intake form in a timely manner. Jennifer, the community sales director, put up with my many many questions, while we were touring the Atria, multiple times, before we chose it as the place for my mother to live. My mother loves the food, put together by Chris Spezial, the culinary director. She is particularly fond of the soups and salads offered. All the med techs, care staff, housekeeping staff and front desk staff (particularly, Blanca, Lady, Emma Kristopher and Judy) have been nothing but courteous and respectful. The Executive Director, Kristen Armstrong sends out monthly letters and community updates as needed. She is reachable by email and responds in a timely manner. Lastly, the Atria is clean and pretty with its fireplace in the library and the fireplaces outside in the courtyards. There is plenty of space for the residents to sit and enjoy their time reading, doing puzzles or just talking with other community members. As my mother continues to adjust to her new normal, we know that if she needs anything, or has any questions, that the staff will be there to help her and us with patience and kindness.

I cannot say enough about Adriana Hudson first of all the staff is amazing. The atmosphere here is very homey and the staff is always responsive to our needs. The nursing and medication staff were efficient and caring.Marie,the head RN Went above and beyond to help in so many ways . She was always available, cheerful and kind. My Mom has been living at Atria on the Hudson since August. Like most children of the elderly population, we were really worried about finding a place for her that would be the best fit. We wanted her to feel at home and treated exceptionally well by the staff. The manager of Atria has been so wonderful to work with. The head nurse is very easy to communicate and works very hard for her patients because she cares so much! The people in the main office do everything they can to help my Mom. They really go above and beyond. The drivers that take my Mom to her many doctors appointments are so patient and kind. I don't have to worry about her well being anymore because I know that she's in really good hands. I know that's she's safe, treated well, given exceptional food and she's socially stimulated.

All of the staff are very nice and helpful, we’ve made a number of friends and the food is good. The grounds could not possibly be better landscaped. We moved from a house with beautiful wooded surroundings which we were sorry to leave, but the facility’s wooded surroundings are beautiful as well and are very well maintained.

I entered The Atria on the Hudson after a sudden and difficult hospitalization. The care and support provided by the well trained staff is terrific. They treat all residents with respect and kindness. Physical therapy services are provided by an exceptional team of professionals. Medical staff provide excellent monitoring and care and are available on site 24/7. The property is beautiful too! A lovely place to walk around or sit comfortably by the fireplace. . Food service is excellent and the menu offers a broad variety of options each day. I highly recommend The Atria to families seeking a good home for a loved one. I am grateful for my time here.

The Atria on the Hudson saved my mom’s life & spirit. My mom had broke her femur and after the operation was sent to a rehab/nursing home for recovery. She initially started to get better, but due to the lack of staffing and nobody really paying attention, she started to decline.The Doctor there saw her twice in a 2 1/2 month period and didn’t even examine her. Thank God , I found the Atria! Upon entering the Atria I was impressed with how gorgeous it is open & airy the decor combines modern with natural features. I was greeted by the executor Kristen Armstrong who explained to me how they really care about each person’s wellbeing and the many services they provide. She also explained how they strive to create an atmosphere of connectiveness a feeling of community & family . I was sold we moved mom in. Then I met Marie Barrett, She is the Head nurse and is very attentive to my mom’s needs. Along with her staff they make sure doctors orders are carried out & also keep the family well informed with her medical needs & progress .Giving our family peace of mind . I am grateful to the whole staff at the Atria for taking good care of my mom ..

From day 1, Jennifer was so helpful, informing us of everything we needed to do in order make the process easier for our Mom. After looking at 13 places, we found Atria on the Hudson and it’s been a great fit. My godfather is still active at 95 and has settled in to the community well since December. It’s been a huge transition post the loss of his one and only, but he’s increasingly joining activities and grocery shopping and consistently tells me they do a really good job here and the food is great. All the staff are cheerful and have been available and helpful when I have had medical or housekeeping or billing or front desk questions. My go-to outreach for updates and more is Andi. She is wonderfully responsive and knows how he is doing, as she runs the activities and has encouraged his participation along the way. Whether it’s a little help with technology or saying yes i will try and let me see what i can do I am so grateful. Today she found a way to project turner classic movie channel in the auditorium when the planned movies aren’t playing, for example. Basketball games at the bar, the grounds and pool, happy hours, friends, food and field trips ” quality of life isn’t so bad! Thank you all, and thank you Andi!

I would even say vocational. They often go above and beyond. The RSA staff are very young (with a few exceptions, Paola, Gladys etc...) but the ones I have talked to are caring and compassionate. The care that is given to our loved one is very much appreciated. The grounds are beautiful, the facility is taken care of, the food is more than adequate as is the housekeeping. Our family was in crisis when we began looking for an assisted living facility for my parents. Atria on the Hudson was recommended to me by a close friend who had a wonderful experience with her mom. After meeting with the administrative and nursing team (Kristin, Jennifer, Naomi, Marie and Brittany) and touring the beautiful facility, we knew we'd found a wonderful place for mom and dad. Every request we make, from small asks to major accommodations, is handled quickly and with a smile. The daily programming features a wide range of activities, special events and trips. Dad particularly loves the large library and trivia games. I've accompanied my parents to meals and the delicious food options are served by attentive and friendly waitstaff. Housekeeping and laundry do an incredible job. Every time we visit, the unit is spotless. I need to make a special note of the nursing team under Marie Barrett's direction. They are so kind and lovely and accessible 24/7 to the residents and their families. The move to assisted living is a difficult transition. Choosing Atria on the Hudson made it a much easier and joyful process for our family.

My mom is there and for the most part facility and services are good - not excellent, just good. We like most of the workers, but Mom has complained that many of them do not take the necessary time it requires to perform their jobs adequately. I.e. showers, they rush through them - maybe taking 5 -10 minutes at the most. My mom needs more - unfortunately your tiered pricing prohibits asking for more. We feel the Atria is too expensive for what they offer, making payments difficult on seniors with limited assets.

My mother was living in Hudson Life Guidance community unfortunately for only a few months but the Directors assisted me through the transition and guilt I feared she would hate being there in a memory care unit. Within 3 days my mother was finally smiling and laughing again. She was always weepy and agitated most of the time with me and i thought she would truly hate me but the opposite happened she would smile when she saw me i can’t thank the staff and the Directors for making my moms stay at Hudson happy. I interviewed and toured several assisted living facilities in the surrounding Westchester County area before selecting Atria on Hudson. From my initial contact with admission, arrangements for tours, coordinating moving in and transitioning to a new home, I have found the staff to be responsive, professional and most of all caring towards my resident. I have no hesitation recommending Atria on Hudson and it’s because of the staff with whom I have come in contact. During the first four months I have met and worked with admissions, receptionists, drivers, medical department staff, Social Worker and most of all the Director of Life Guidance memory care unit and her staff. To a person they are outstanding. It allows me to focus on other aspects of the resident’s life while they provide the day-to-day care. In four short months, they have truly crated a second (safe) home.

My mom has been at Atria for almost one year. When she first went there she was living Independently, and about 4 months in, it was necessary to move her into Memory Care. The staff at Atria was incredibly helpful at every step in this process. While we loved Independent living- the stimulating activities, the beautiful grounds that she could walk in, and the terrific staff, it was clear that my mom needed more support. In Memory Care (Life Guidance) she gets a lot more personalized help, and the activities are just right for her. I can't say enough about how caring and communicative the staff is. They send me pictures of my mom engaging in activities, and they really understand how someone with dementia perceives the world. They are gentle and kind, and they really help her to retain her dignity. Desiree is an absolute gem- she is tireless in her devotion to my mom- she takes great care to make sure my mom is active, challenged and happy. My mom can be a difficult person at times, but the staff is skilled at redirecting her and helping her to focus on something new that will bring her joy. It isn't easy having a parent with dementia, and it is not a static situation- her needs and her abilities are always evolving. The staff at Atria works with my mom and with me, to make sure that her needs are met. Atria, Desiree, and the whole staff have been a real blessing in our lives.

My Grandmother resides at Atria on the Hudson, in their Life Guidance neighborhood. MAJOR kudos to the staff there and new Director. I was able to video call, after not having been able to do so, for a bit due to my schedule but SO HAPPY, I was able to see her. The joy I saw on her face was so evident. Her hair was nicely done, she was participating in an activity and loudly demanding for her snack, in which they were happy to provide her with (she had two servings during our call by the way, ha!) It was quite a sight to see. This 30 min video call, reassures not only myself but our family that she is in the right place and content in where she lives, with the people she’s surrounded with and cared by. The staff is what makes this Atria absolutely phenomenal. They go beyond their call of duty. My Grand-mom’s Dementia necessitates quite a bit of attention but they care and tend to her so effortlessly. My Mother cannot say enough lately about how Grandma is doing and that she is in excellent hands. Give yourselves a major pat on the back, team Hudson! Their community, the staff and tenants become like family. Bravo to Matt and his team! We are so glad to know that my Grandmother truly has a home at Atria in which she so clearly loves and a community to which she truly belongs! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

This place is awesome! Activities every hour. The residents are always busy and have things to do. Music comes and play the piano every month. The pool is open from 12-5 and the food is awesome!
