Very caring staff. The people work well together and are attentive to the residents and to the families. The Life Guidance team especially goes out of their way to help the resident and family adjust to changes in the condition of the resident as time goes on - with a very good focus on preserving a high quality of life. The new director in LG brings a lot of positive energy to the activities available to the LG residents.

My mom has been in the Atria family for the past 2 years, last 6 months has been at the Briaircliff Atria. It is just a wonderful warm and caring home for my mom as well as the other residents. I am at the Atria often and am always pleased at the respect and love the residents receive. Desiree is the Director of Life Guidance and she is one in a million. She is passionate about caring for the residents and giving them the best quality of life she can offer. Desiree is just a wonderful, warm, loving human being. I am so grateful that she is not only part of my mom's life, but also part of mine. I would and do recommend the Atria in Braircliff for anyone looking for a wonderful home for their aging parents. I can't express my gratitude enough to the wonderful staff there.

Such an amazing place to work! I look forward to coming to work everyday and just being surrounded by amazing staff and residents. My mother is suffering from dementia. I took her out of the house months ago. This was a very stressful time, yet Atria made this process so easy. They took care of everything making the transition as easy as possible. EVERY staff member is incredible in their own special way caring for my mothers needs. She is now doing amazing getting the help she was lacking before. Seba, the executive director is an angel!

The sincerity, camaraderie and professionalism of the entire staff, the warmth and cleanliness of the campus and residence is INCREDIBLE AND OUTSTANDING! My folks lived at Atria for almost 1 year. A caring, attentive, and competent staff is makes the Atria at Briarcliff just phenomenal. They go beyond their call of duty. For example, Seba drove 3 hrs round trip in traffic to visit my parents, brought them culturally appropriate food and spoke w- them for hours. Without this visit, despite my dads cancer and moms dementia, there would have been no way my parents would have agreed to move out of their house. My dads care was very demanding due to his late stage cancer. My moms dementia necessitates quite a bit of hand holding, and the Atrias driver, Dino, coordinated most of their doctors appointment. Enza, the sales director, went out of her way to help my family through this difficult time. The key part is that my parents both felt like they had their independence which translated to their happiness. Due to the small community, the staff and tenants became like family and we still keep in touch months after my mom moved out. Some of the staff and tenants still calls my mom to see how shes doing. My mom looks back very fondly of her time at this Atria.

An ARMY of staff there to care for almost every needed of seniors. Doctors fromlocal hospital make visits to the Atria Briarcliff Manor.Activities are daily and there is enough to keep the residents healthy, happy and feeling good.

The warmth and caring each - to a person - gives to every resident is a joy to see and its genuine - it is not contrived or done for appearances. It is a quality each possesses under the leadership of Executive Director Janis Knorr.Of particular note, Arlene Udeagha, the Director of the Wellness Center, goes above and beyond to not only ensure the health and wellness of residents but to understand the nuances that sometimes underly the issue at hand. Not content to let things go, Arlene will endeavor to resolve issues thoroughly, always follows-up and makes sure her staff gives nothing but the best when serving Atria residents.Also in the above and beyond category, how could anyone fail to mention the indefatigable Bert who is so much more than merely a driver for Atria residents. Bert is a gifted facilitator who sees that all the residents are scheduled for and get to their appointments on time and safely. We know Mom is in excellent hands when in his charge. His patience knows no bounds and his empathy and understanding of residents needs make him perfectly suited for his positionOur family cannot say enough about the beautifully appointed facilities, engaging programs and superior stafravo to Janis and her gifted team. We are so glad to know our Mom has truly found a home she loves and a community to which she truly belongs.
