My mom has marked her 3 month anniversary at Residence at Vorhees! She has Alzheimer's Dementia and was resistant to any kind of assisted care. She is now thriving! She smiles, is engaged in activities all day long, goes on outings, gained weight because of the amazing chef at the restaurant, made friends and takes her medicine consistently which has helped her memory and word retrieval difficulties. The staff is kind, knowledge, fun and supportive. Thank you for making my mom happy again and giving her family piece of mind that she is safe and living a full life again!

Wanted to share my experience on my recent visit to The Residence at Voorhees. My history with the community dates back 10 years ago with another company. It was great to see Ron the Director of Maintenance and Janet the Business Office Manager still there after more than 10 years! The Executive Director, Tina York, was someone else who I'd known at the community in a different role that had been promoted (rightfully so!). The final part of my "tour", was when Tina introduced me to the Director of Dining, who was also at the community 10 years ago in a different role, now promoted. I was so impressed with how Tina and her team have taken this lovely community of people and made it a family. Congrats!

What a wonderful place to work! The residents are like family and I'm happy to call the associates not only my co-workers, but my friends. I'm grateful to work for a company that fully supports the engagement program and prides itself on offering the BEST opportunities for our residents to continue to thrive, learn, grow and have the most fun doing while it. Our Thursday happy hours are the best around and there's no other place I'd rather be on a Thursday at 2:30pm.

My mother became a resident 6 months ago. She was very unsure and nervous. My mom has blossomed here. From day one everyone knows her name and welcomed her with open arms. They draw her into each activity and make sure she is well taken care of.Larry cracks her up and we love his humor and compassion. All the staff are wondeful!

Every time I visit my grandmother the community is always vibrant and energetic. There is always someone there to help us. Tina the ED is always there to answer any questions we have and the way her and her team engage with the residents is why we picked The Residence at Voorhees. If I could give ten stars I would!

The staff are so caring and upbeat. The atmosphere is one of positivity and nurturing. My cousin is thriving. Cheryl is an exceptional, director who is extremely hands on. She doesn't shy away from interacting with residents. Her care and affection for them is evident. They are lucky to have her.

When choosing an assistant living community, it's so important to choose the right one. The Residence of Voorhees community was clean and rooms were nicely spaced. Josephine, the Director of Sales, was extremely helpful. She was attentive, compassionate, and understanding. She explained everything; I felt like I mattered. She was absolutely wonderful. If you're ever in need of an assistant living community, start your search there. You will be happy you did.

The Residence of Voorhees is a caring and warm environment. The staff is so patient and they truly care for the residents. I was so nervous having my mother go into a facility but after seeing how they treat my mother and how much she loves all her aids I know it was the right decision. My mother has her little apartment and is definitely treated like family not another patient. My mother is also also bragging about the food they serve. The Residence is a wonderful place. It is beautiful, clean and has such a warm homey feel . My Mother loves the food & the staff . No matter what time you go you will be greeted by happy, residents that are engaged in activities and are very social. I have not met an employee that has not been kind, caring & helpful from the front desk, office Management, nursing, aides, to kitchen or maintenance. Thank you Residence for all you do! There are many assisted living facilities, but none can compare to your compassion.

My dad lived at the residence for over two years until he passed away a few weeks ago at 95 years of age. For the past two years he considered everyone in there his family and he loved the place. I’ve never seen him happier.There was always things to do and always a smiling face when he needed it. They treat everyone like family and the people that work there are unbelievable. Not only are they very professional but they are very caring human beings. If I had to do it all over again there’s no other place on earth I would rather him be he often raved how good the food was and nothing made my sisters and I happier than when we called him and said I can’t talk now we’re so busy doing stuff. My things to the entire staff for how well they treated my dad. If you are thinking about having a parent enter an assisted living home this is the place to be

The Residence at Voorhees is an amazing assisted living facility to send your loved ones. The staff are wonderful! Every interaction I've had with different members of the staff have been pleasant. They go above and beyond to handle the needs of the residents and their families. Transitioning a loved one into assisted living is a difficult decision. The staff gave me and my mother peace of mind and solidified that this was the right choice. She could not receive better care anywhere else!!

After visiting many places, we chose Atria/Residence at Voorhees. We spent a lot of time there with our mother and enjoyed getting to know the staff. Tina is truly amazing as well as the other managers and the entire staff. Any questions we ever had were answered immediately. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The environment was very pleasant. Our mother always loved people and the constant attention and interaction from Tina, all the managers, and the entire staff was so positive for her. We would highly recommend Atria/Residence at Voorhees.

My mom is at the Residence at Voorhees (formerly Atria). She is very happy there. She has several friends and the staff is terrific! My mom complains about the quality of the food (no taste) but her taste buds have declined as she has aged, so I take that complaint with a grain of salt (yes, pun intended).

Atria Voorhees is family oriented.. the staff is wonderful..they always have time for a kind word and a smile. There are all types of activities and outings for the residents. My dad says the food is good and they always give you plenty ( this is from an Italian man).

I am writing this on behalf of my 85 year old mother. We were received very graciously. My mother is very happy with the majority of the staff. She absolutely loves the quality, quantity and variety of the meals. Our biggest issue is Brookdale's new resident "button" system. It has failed a total of four times since she has moved in, which was the earlier half of April. We have been told the staff has between three to twenty minutes to respond once activated. Being stranded at the dining table after a meal is one thing, being stranded on the bathroom floor at night is another. So many of the staff from top down are clearly in the right field. They are very sincere, caring and knowledgeable. Unfortunately as with anything in our world today there are some bad apples. Her secured room has been broken into while she has been in the dining room. As happy and content as she is and has been, these two incidences have her and the rest of her family with a feeling of uneasiness.

My mother was here for a respite stay and her experience was pretty good. The community looks nice and clean, that was one of things that caught my eyes. The staff was good at caring for her. They do offer nice activities for the residents through out the week and she loved the meals. I would recommend this community because it was nice and clean.

I toured this community, and was so impressed. My biggest concern was how the residents interacted with the staff, and it was nice to see a very friendly environment with lots of activity between everyone. The food was great, there were plenty of activities, and the biggest help is the transportation that will take them to and from doctors appointments. If I was in a place where I needed a community to move into, I would pick this one!
