We moved my mom up here from Florida almost a year ago. We lucked out finding Seaton. Yvette was wonderful to work with and the staff is great. My mom's unit is very nice, her cleaning lady is fantastic. There are so many activities for the residents. However, the food situation seems to have gone drastically downhill in the last six months or so. The quality is seriously lacking, and there just doesn't seem to be really nutritious food served. Otherwise it is a very nice facility. I will be following up with the manager regarding the food. Our seniors not only deserve, but need, healthy food. I don't know what went wrong, but hopefully it will improve.

Our Family recently assisted my Father inlaw in finding an apartment with lots of amenities. We were fortunately able to work with Yvette Alicea at Seaton Voorhees she is a Sr. Life Counselor. She was able to place him and has been amazing with helping him get acclimated and make new friends. If you have a loved one who is 55 + and is looking for an apartment ask for Yvette and you will not be disappointed.

I moved my mother from Pennsylvania to Seaton Voorhees about 2 months ago so that we can be closer to each other. Yvette, Jane, and the entire Seaton staff have delivered on everything that was offered. Great accommodations and meals along with numerous activities and entertainment for the residents (it warmed my heart to see a partially blind resident and a 90-year-old resident get up and dance together while a gentleman sang Copacabana). Mom is very happy there, and I highly recommend Seaton Voorhees to anyone looking for a home for their senior loved one.

My sisters and I toured this very pretty facility with Yvette for our parents. The staff was very kind, the place is very clean, well maintained, and many improvements were noted. It felt like home. Yvette was wonderful to work with, never pushy, gave us lots of options and really knows senior living! The pastries(homemade by their pastry chef) made our visit even more delightful! Unfortunately my parents were not ready, but this would be our go to! Thanks Yvette for everything!

Holiday greetings! I have not been in the community all that long but it's the best thing that could have happened to me. Following my car accident, I sat in my old apartment, and depression got the best of me. My girls decided along with doctors that I needed to be in a facility that could handle a walker and allow me not to be alone. I am a people person. When I first walked in the door, I was very apprehensive, somewhat angry, because I felt like my kids were running my life and telling me what to do, I was not looking at things from their perspective. The first person I met was Yevette She proceeded to tell us all about the facility and showed us around. what a wonderful person she is her smile lights up the room! She's very attentive and caring, thoughtful and respectful to every client that walks in. During our interview I overheard my kids say to her "mom doesn't smile anymore since dad died in 2014. We've been watching her die a little each day. "I thought I was doing a good job covering my depression, but obviously I was not, but with each room that Yevette took us into, I began to smile brighter and brighter. I told her that I haven't smiled in a long time and she took a picture of me while we were touring and I was smiling the old smile that I used to have all the time. I to Yevette that I used to teach "painting with a twist "and she jumped on that idea so quick and asked me if I'd be willing to teach the clients here in our facility by running a class to teach my neighbors how to paint. I'm currently am known as the painting lady or Picasso! I have made so many wonderful friends, and it seems like everybody knows me. The personality that Yevette was born with is beautiful, friendly, attentive, good listener, and I literally fell in love with her. I referred to her as my sister. Yevette makes our community sparkle more than the Christmas lights that we have around the building. I am so happy I found my new home knowing every time I walk in or out of the building her warm loving smile is always there to greet me. I hope you too take the time to stop in here at Seaton meet Yevette and take a tour of our facility. It's wonderful to see how people blossom and grow when they're in here which is our forever home away from home. Come meet yevette! JMD

I took my aunt here during the open house. Yvette Alicea gave us a tour. She was pleasant and her knowledge of the community was excellent. My aunt can be stubborn, Yvette was a blessing. The rooms and facility were tastefully renovated and set up well. I would feel comfortable with her living here. My aunt also liked it.

I've visited Seaton multiple times, it has always been a pleasant experience. Each staff member I met was friendly and helpful, and the residents were a joy. They make great effort to give the best to their residents, as is evident in the extensive updates they are doing throughout the building, and the activities and care they provide. It is truly a fantastic option for seniors that are still independent but want the comfort of a community. When I am of the appropriate age, I will be lucky to call Seaton my home.

Andre (I call him Mr. A) has been a dream and excellent in what he does. He was very helpful in finding the right apt for me and during my transition to moving he's been a SUPERSTAR!!! The food is delicious, the people are just Fantastic, I love Frank the activities person, and all the fun we have...I plan to be here the rest of my life LOL

Seaton is a great place for seniors to combat loneliness. The apartments are newly renovated and impressive. The staff is immensely qualified, talented and really cares about their residents and you can tell as soon as you set foot in the building. The staff sets up fun activities and events for the residents and how friendships and camaraderie are built. I would highly recommend Seaton to anyone that wants to be comfortable and active and still independent as a senior.

From the time I walked into the newly renovated building and talked with Yvette,I knew this was dad's new home. Rooms are beautiful my renovated and the facility amenities are expansive. I am pastor Kendrick Turner. Only thing I can say the place is a great place. But the service is not good. The rooms and apartments areabraham new. The kitchen style is great. The front people at the desk It's not great, the minnesothe rent is place. It's very great last night. I got sick, they got here so fast and so quick. They gave me medical attention. I think New Jersey police department in the rescue squad. For responding to me very quickly, they tell me at a seizure. And the panic button they give me it works. It's the only thing I'm going to say. The Minnesota is really great. The kitchen staff is very great. The maintenance Staff workers, it's very great the front desk people. It needs a lot of work sometimes. The communication is not good at all. Because I was in the hospital and I thought. Different about this place but sometimes you make a mistake when I was at. Book Dale a Tennessee I got first class treatment but only thing I buy is. I was the only African American there. And I've figured out a place, so I'll let there. And I stopped my payment and mom's placement. Understand all of that and it really? Took care of me when I came to that. And they help me find this place. And I don't know what's different. But I put an email to them and let them know the concern that I'm having. Sometimes sheep is not good but when I was with Brookdale. In Tennessee I should accept what me been on the African American but I was getting first class treatment everyday. On Fridays, they have happy hour. What AR the drinks, entertainment and on Friday is the same. The food there was great. That's so cool. 24 hours a day. That's something that I miss other places. I went to fast independent living. Not the like what I'm getting now. It's room for improvement. I just had to come up and tell my story. Is someone the President? That I talked to, they complained about the food. And they complain about the activity staff. I know that they don't come down hard on me once this comes published. I really don't care, but when you pay your money, you need great service. In other place, I've been files independent. Megan, and no problem at all, that's really Riot talk. I had to keep it 100 but the Minnesota he just got that hes on top of things. And I got to say that special kudos to him.

My sister Donna has been a resident since 2017 while the management has changed many times. But since Seaton and the new director Ian has taken over I have seen a dramatic change in my sister's treatment. You have to understand she is very difficult to deal with because of her mental disability! But instead of trying to get rid of her Ian and his staff have embraced her even more than before engaging and including her in community activities. I can't express how much of a difference this has made for me and more importantly my sister!

When I started looking for an independent living community in south jersey, my job was to find one to match the exceptional North Carolina community my sister was living in at the time. During my first contact with Yvette Alicea, Senior Lifestyle Counselor, at Seaton Voorhees, I was immediately put at ease with her sincerity and friendliness. Initial and subsequent visits to Seaton Voorhees allowed me to see and interact with the guests on a personal level where those observed were friendly, outgoing and eager to engage in conversation. Seaton Voorhees has lived up to my high standards and my sister's expectations. The entrance is welcoming and the grounds manicured. The dining room has an inviting fireplace and attendant staff. There are changing activities, musical events and occasional outings. The decision to choose Seaton Voorhees was correct.

My post (below) was 11 months ago when owned by Holiday Retirement and Atria. Seaton Voorhees is now under new ownership and they have done a great job improving everything I complained about below. The staff is amazing. They even brought back resident Ambassadors....which makes sense because now they live in a place where they have something to be proud of! *** PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE SENDING YOUR PARENT HERE *** My mom has been here for 2 1/2 years. We moved here there to ensure she received nutritious meals, they offered bus service to dr. appointments, and social activities. Two months in the bus service stopped, and started back up maybe 5 months ago... but they make signup difficult because the sheet is never around. Each year the rent has gone up and the amenities down... the food is so bad we've had to resort to stocking her freezer with smart ones. Dinner menus used to be printed for the entire week... as of this week... nothing printed. Disappointing since the place has just been purchased... and two days in... apparently when you thought it couldn't get any worse... apparently it can. In December there was 1 letter (literally) saying Yardley was changing hands on January 1 to Atria Senior Living. Not one communication to the residents or family since explaining that the change was not happening until Feb. 1. And... we have NO IDEA who the responsible person is for us to follow-up on issues related to being overcharged for rent. The Staff who work the kitchen, front desk, and housekeeping are wonderful... they are the only thing about the place my mom even likes. On their site they list the following "Services Included with Monthly Rent" - Common Area WiFi - Yes - Complimentary Scheduled Transportation - 2 1/2 years maybe for 6 months total and that's being gracious - Three Chef Prepared Meals Daily - Bologna & Cheese Sandwiches, Hot Dogs ... give me a break - Full Calendar of Enriching Activities - "Subject to Change" and they ALWAYS do - Most Utilities Included - Yes - Exclusive Travel and Stay Program - Not sure this is even available anymore with new ownership - Light Linen Service - Yes - Maintenance - Yes - Lively Mobile Plus Personal Emergency Response Device - Yes - Weekly Housekeeping - Yes

Seaton is perfect, and Ian the Property Manager is one of a kind! If you're looking for an ideal location close to everything, with an amazing staff, with everything under one roof: medical, salon, etc. with absolutely stunning units? Then call Ian today. He was so patient and showing me around the communication was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!

The entire team at Seaton in Voorhees were great to work with when finding a new home for my mom. Quiet place, clean for mom. Food is reasonable. Really managed for independent living, but nursing and living task assistants can be hired. Housekeeping is available with apartment rental on weekly basis.

Yardley Commons was the perfect place for my 82 yr old mom that wanted to live on her own. Keeping her independence, but having a staff over see her needs like cleaning, washing and all meals prepared, better than living alone. Staff and other tenants treat each like family.

I was there visiting my uncle. It was very nice! I wish I could afford it myself, I wouldnt hesitate to live there. The rooms are big enough, its quiet, has a cafeteria, library, music room, bingo, & so much more! There are stores nearby. Food stores, clothing stores, banks, & more. If you can afford it you definitely should look into it!
