I have been working in healthcare for 10+ years and have worked in this building for two years. have to say this has been one of the BEST places I have ever worked! All staff are friendly and helpful, the building is clean, and the residents are always treated with respect and dignity! PTO and benefits are also a plus !

Putting my aunt in your facility was the best thing I ever could have done for her. All of the staff has made her feel right at home and they treat her like she is a celebrity! It feels so good to know that she is not just another number, but everyone knows her personally and treats her so well. There is always something to do. Activities are top notch and the food couldn't be better!! She loves having so many choices to eat every day. I can't say enough good things about the staff-from the front desk to the nurses-but especially Nancy and Cameron, who have been an absolute godsend from my very first admissions inquiry. They helped guide me through the admissions process , and continue to be available for any of my many questions, without ever making me feel like I'm being a burden or it's not their job. I leave your facility, feeling safe, knowing that my aunt is being taken care of so well. I can't thank you all enough.

My Mom has been at The Chelsea at Toms River for 2 1/2 years now. The management staff and the medical staff there is excellent. They are always available to help you with any problems you might have. There are plenty of activities for the residents to keep them busy if they wish to participate. The rooms are quite large and have a large kitchenette and a large bathroom. They have primary care doctors that will see you in house, in house physical therapy, a movie theater, a hair salon, an activities room and a large bistro with a large TV and lots of seating for socializing. The back patio has two overhead gazebos so you can sit out there in most kinds of weather. Also out in the back patio they have a vegetable garden. It is a clean, beautiful place and they try to do their very best to take care of their residents. I highly recommend it.

My husband & I recently had to look for placement for his Older Adult brother. I could not have asked for a better experience, when going through this process. It is always a very emotional time for both the individual who now requires care & the family. I am very appreciative to The Chelsea at Toms River for making this a relatively seamless process. I would especially like to acknowledge Alyssa Rudic, the representative who handled the intake process. She was informative, helpful, kind, patient & most importantly she made our Older Adult family member feel at ease with the transition from independence to an assisted living facility. Thank You to Alyssa & the ancillary staff.

We had a great experience, moving my mom into the Chelsea at toms River. My family would like to recognize Alyssa. From the moment she met my mother, she made mom feel welcomed, safe and secure. You can tell that Alyssa genuinely cares for all the residents. She's kind patient and understanding. Alyssa answered all of our questions and was sure to follow up promptly. When it was time to move Mom into her new room, Alyssa made sure everything went smoothly. She even had a ribbon cutting ceremony for mom. Mom has only been there a week, but she loves everything about the Chelsea at Toms River. (John Campion)

I would like to compliment the people at Chelsea (particularly Angela) who helped our family get through a crisis and find rehab help for my mom that was needed. We have decided to move my parents up closer to us (an hour and a half away from Toms River) and so will not be using this facility - but we really loved it and would have signed on if circumstances had been different.
