Brandywine is beautiful and extremely clean. I met with the administrator, Lisa. She was extremely thorough regarding the quality of their staff, the safety and security measures in place and their overall level of care.

Before I post. How is this. I first met Lisa Decicco when I was seeking information on assisted living for my cousin who had just lost his wife and couldn't live alone anymore. Lisa was very knowledgeable about every aspect and answered our questions thoroughly. She explained how Brandywine offered assisted living and also offered memory care, which my cousin will eventually need. Unfortunately, due to the location (Toms River) of Lisa's facility, we all agreed that the Brick location would be better since I live around the corner from it and could visit more. Lisa was kind enough to refer us to Marilyn, where our cousin now resides. Lisa made this process, which is an emotional and difficult one, easier to navigate.

I started working for Brandywine senior living in Toms River a couple months ago and it had been an amazing and very rewarding experience! The staff is incredible and the level of care and attentiveness is above and beyond. Being able to help and interact with the residents on a daily basis is very fulfilling and cheerful! Would not recommend a better facility by far!

This facility is by far the number one in ocean county!!! Staff are friendly and helpful from the receptionist to the administrator always ready to assist! A happening community where there's bustling activity while providing attentive quality care for the people living here!!

My mother has been a resident at Brandywine for 7 months now. Making the decision and transitioning to a new way of life is never easy. The first week was a little rough, but after that things went very well. I have been so impressed with the staff at Brandywine. Everyone has been so warm and friendly. My mother has been impressed that everyone on staff calls all the residents by name. I can tell that it's more than knowing the resident's names though. My mother feels that the staff know her and care about her as an individual. The staff at the front desk, the wellness center, and the administration are all friendly and it is clear that they care deeply. I know that the therapy staff is a contracted service, but I will mention that my mom (who used to hate exercise and therapy) feels that the therapy staff are not only her therapists but are also her friends. Mom's cognitive decline has been quite a challenge for her and for us. Although she wishes she could be living independently in her own home, she tells me every day that she is glad she is at Brandywine. Having her at Brandywine has also been a godsend for her family, as none of us need to worry about her safety anymore. Mom now calls her room her "home", and she has made friends with other residents. She enjoys the activities, especially those related to religion, art, and the live entertainment (singing and animal visits). We are all so grateful to Brandywine staff for giving my mom a chance to live her life with the level of assistance that makes her safe and for providing activities that improve her quality of life.

A year and a half ago my 91year old mom had to go into an assisted living. Luckily my friend had both parents in Brandywine, Toms River and highly recommended it to me. I went to look and loved the spacious room.The living room and kitchen where everyone gathers were clean and they always had something going on. I loved Lisa , the top Administrator and Michelle, the head nurse that mom and I worked with to enroll her into her new home. They love their jobs and it shines through. I was ready to make this my moms new home. When my mom got there she was confused , she had had dementia and kept wandering around the building and tried walking out. She had a few of these episodes that was getting calls on. Finally Administration called me and wanted to put her into their memory care unit called Reflections. I cried , I was so upset for days. I was feeling guilty that I was doing something my mom never wanted me to do. But now it was about her safety so I had to agree. They packed her up and moved her in. I was away at this point. When I came home to see her, she was a different mom. It was a smaller environment and it was more quaint for my mom . Under 20 elderly with dementia and some who are high functioning. The staff loved her and she loved them. Erin , the reflections nurse during the week is exceptional at her job and always calls me with any problems. She is always reassuring me that my mom is good. Bridget , the night and weekend nurse is wonderful as well. The aids who my mom loves and is closest too, Helen, Latesha and Kim. They are caring and always helping her. I love each and everyone that I mention here. My mom has her room cleaned once a week, laundry done, 3 great meals and snacks a day. My mom gets her hair done weekly on site and her hygiene is always looked after by the aids. I see all the aids hugging and caring for these reflections members. They celebrate birthdays, holidays have music, religious services, parties. They take them in the beautiful courtyard with flowers and trees to get air. They take them and let them mingle with the assisted living on the other side of the building when their are events. Brandywine is now my moms home and maybe one day my husband and myself. After awhile they all become family . I know I made the right decision and all guilt is gone. Thank you to the staff

It's never easy having to make a decision for your parent that they can't make for themselves . The anxiety of will they be treated well & with dignity is huge! My mother suffers from dementia and is feisty to say the least . She has never looked so good and comfortable which is a tremendous relief to my family . Thank you Brandywine Tom's River !!!

After mom had a medical episode at home and was no longer able to live alone, we knew the time had come to make a change. We were very Happy with Brandywine as my Mother in Law was there for several years prior. We chose Brandywine again for mom. She is very happy there and even though it was tough with the COVID-19 pandemic, she couldn't be happier. The staff is extremely friendly and competent along with the nursing staff. She enjoys the meals and wonderful desserts. I would highly recommend Brandywine in Toms River should the need arise for your family!
