Loved the personal care thay gave my mother. We were and still are on a first name basis. Thay have become family in Her and in my time of need ,thay were always trying make her comfortable in her 2 month stay..My Mother and I have a lot of Gratitude for what these Great people endure on the daily and while staying positive and smiling.. The Food And Cleanliness along with the activities,Holiday Decorations and Entertainment .It bring some normalcy and smiles to people who need it..I love the Courtyard! Very relaxing. I was a resident for 6 1/2 years. The only reason I left was to be closer to my kids otherwise I’d still be there. The kitchen staff was sooo helpful, Steven goes out of his way constantly to meet your needs and give you special treatment . Such a wonderful person, the entire kitchen staff was always eager to meet your concerns and make you happy. . The activity staff was also wonderful and happy and fun. The front desk were cheerful and helpful. The nurses, so pleasant and kind and went out of their way to help. The administration, Shalom and everyone in the office went out of their way to always help and make my stay comfortable when I needed them. They do use agency aides some were wonderful and some needed to learn some empathy. Above all I made some wonderful friends Sharleen ’• Joanne ’• Manette ’• Val ’• Tina ’• Nefertiti ’• Chelsea’• Steven ’™ Dawn ’• Claire ’• Tom ’™ and so many others who took the time to listen to my rambling and just be caring and helpful. I had the opportunity to tour the facility with Julie Schafer, the Admissions Coordinator, and it was an excellent experience. Julie was welcoming, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all of my questions while showing me around the property. She also provided thoughtful recommendations and made me feel confident in the level of care the facility strives to provide. What stood out most was the warm, clean, and safe environment. It was clear that the staff genuinely care about their patients, taking the time to learn everyone's name and encouraging them throughout the day as they participate in activities and their recovery. You can tell they are committed to creating a supportive atmosphere where patients are treated with dignity, compassion, and respect.

It doesn’t matter where you go or places are should help and they’re doing the very best that they can with what they have to work with my mom is there and she’s very tough on the food. My mother stayed here after an illness and stay at a hospital. After her discharge she was sent to a different facility where she did get better. She was sent back to the hospital with the same issues then sent to Complete Care. She finally received the correct care. The nurses, aides, and management made the difference. Today she is home because of everyone at Complete Care. They are amazing and dedicated professionals to the Care and well-being of the patients and residents there.

Just brought my wife in about 7 months ago due to Alzheimer's disease. Overall her care has been very good. The staff is very nice and attentive. Sometimes the only issue is nurse's aide staffing. They do try to use outside agency aides when necessary , some of which are good and some not so good. They do keep track of the bad ones. Overall the food service is good and the head of food servicing, Steve, is terrific. All the department heads are ready and willing to provide assistance, especially the Director of Admissions, the lead dietician, and the head nurses. In general the nurses aides are good with some especially good. After looking at other facilities we found that Shorrock Gardens was the best we found. Overall we are very happy with the care my wife is given and would recommend them to anyone.

My first time there; came to visit a friend. Seemed very clean and no strange odors. The staff seemed very polite. I felt bad for my friend because his room mate had the TV volume up soooooo loud.He said it's like that 24 hours a day. I understand sometimes people have equipment that is loud so you have to turn up the volume but a little consideration for others couldn't hurt. I know my friend wouldn't want to make trouble but I can't believe no one would do anything.

The unit nursing and support staff are dedicated, caring, and professional. I can only thank them for the work they do each day. The concern I have is for the structural atmosphere within the unit. The carpet needs to be removed. Cleaning it is not an option. Tables, chairs, and table trays need to be cleaned or replaced. Walls need fresh paint or wallpaper. Toilets need to flush consistently. The counter and nursing station sink needs a good look. The area is musty and deserves a more inviting refresh, remodel, and update for that dedicated staff and its residents, family members, guests, and potential new residents with family members. I am hoping this reaches someone so some actions may be taken. The staff is wonderful and they and the residents may appreciate a fresher cleaner look in their living and working environment.

The facility is kept very clean and the decor is bright and cheery. The staff is very personable, helpful and there is always someone there if you need something. My Mother in law was there for about a month and a half. We found everyone there to be wonderful. Julie, Steven, Tia, Dan, Natalie, Harry, Carla were all amazing with her and us. My mother in law could be very agitated at times and they knew how to calm her down. Thank you all so much!!

This Facility and the staff have become a blessing to me. Any time an issue arises, it is dealt with completely and efficiently by any staff who can contribute. They all jump in as a team to figure it out. The regular staff who care for my mother, have become like family, I can relax at night knowing she is in good hands, and is cared for with love, and attention. Iam always greeted with smiles and friendly conversation, and am updated frequently of any changes in care or facility changes as well. Extremely grateful for this entire team. I dont know what I would do without them. 10 stars.

Shorrock Gardens is the most compassionate caring facility I have encountered . My mother-in-law is very well cared for and the staff are genuinely kind. I Linda Scheidt Shrock Gardens Evergreen complete care since July 30 to November 9 is the day I go home. You have a nurse aid name Natalie outstanding person she goes away and beyond her means to take care of you. I understand she’s been here for 25 years. Not many people get recognition she’s beautiful person inside out. She stayed by my side she checked in on me. She helped me in ways. I can’t describe. she’s a blessing in In her work, she’s a perfectionist my stay here was lovely. My family and I were impressed of how clean the places and how friendly and Coming out to listen to what you have to say just wanted to share this with you. I enjoyed my stay and actually the food is so much better than Hospital food thank you for everything most of us. Thank you for Natalie.

When my husband’s aunt became ill, I spoke with the social worker at HMH, and asked that her rehab be at Shorrock Gardens. My Aunt, and Uncles had been there and they were excellent. This stay for his aunt was no different, and because she had much more going on that what she had told us, her stay had become permanent. From the beginning, working with Julia, through the updates with Jeanne, and other medical staff members, it was very much a relief to know what wonderful and safe hands she was in. You never what to have to make decisions to leave your home, but his aunt was cognitively in great shape, even though she was ill. She was treated well, and involved in all of her decision making. And we were if informed of changes, her her health conditions promptly. I would like to thank everyone at Shorrock Gardens this is the mission all Nursing Facilities should follow.

I recently wrote a five star review, but feel I had more to say after my Mom's medical crisis she had two weeks ago while at this facility. When I noticed my Mom was disoriented and not acting herself two Mondays ago I notified the nurses on duty who were immediately intentive to my Mom and promptly notified her doctor and started immediate tests. The next day my Mom was still the same and Elsa notified me and promptly told me what the doctor wanted for my Mom and helped me make a proper decision for my mom with providing me the clarity needed and help. My Mom was treated at Brick hospital for the next week and a half with a serious bacteria infection. Holly followed up on my Mom's condition and promptly returned all and answered fully my concerns and questions and was very professional and friendly. Marie followed up to and was most helpful and very professional and helpful. Julia followed up the day before my Mom was coming back to this facility to help me with any questions and concerns. The staff here is amazing and very professional and helpful under a good circumstance and a medical crisis circumstance. When Mom got back to this facility I was happy to see her looking better and well taken care by the staff. Valentina is the best! She takes exceptional amazing care of my Mom and makes sure she comfortable and her needs are met. I can't thank the nurses and staff and social worker enough. Definitely a a good facility

If I could give 100 stars here I would. The care my family has received at Shorrock has been amazing. This is my third family member at Shorrock and I couldn't have found a better place if I tried!! They treat everyone like their own family. I feel we were truly blessed to have found Shorrock Gardens. I just had my brother moved to Applewood, he is just loving it! I can sleep at night knowing my loved ones are in their care.
