Care One is a wonderful place. The entire staff is encouraging, friendly and always appropriate. The space is clean and picturesque, especially the dining room (which has an enormous brick fireplace) and the friendly servers. There are some really good dishes: look for the cholent, lamb stew and beef brisket. The physical and occupational therapists are always positive and encouraging and really get you to work on your goals without feeling judge. The nurses and the aides on the floors, where we actually sleep are prompt. Considerate and again helpful.I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

I was a patient at Care One At Teaneck from mid-June until last week, mid-November. I received physical and occupational therapy six times a week. The therapists were uniformly supportive and knowledgeable about my abilities, knowing when to encourage greater activity and when to ease up, depending on how I was feeling. I was challenged and not coddled. But always treated with respect and good humor. The nurses, assistants and administrators were never less than encouraging. They made a stressful situation as pleasant as was possible. I am very glad I chose Care One At Teaneck for my rehab experience. I highly recommend it.

Food is disgusting. My mom had physical therapy, and the physical therapist, forgot to transfer her from her wheelchair back into bed. The therapist went home and my mom was sitting in the wheelchair for hours. My mom called the nurse, who didn’t show up at all. Luckily , one of the therapist, Millie heard what was going on and helped my mom back into bed. The care here, is just not good.

My 103 year old father has been at Care One for a month now, recovering from pneumonia. The Care has been outstanding; taking care of his need for oxygen, medications, and giving him an air mattress. The PT/OT staff are excellent and know just how much he can endure. He has a very restrictive, specialized diet, and Dennis, the kitchen manager has been phenomenal, providing him with whatever he needs, special ordering him products and making a unique soup, just for him. The only minor drawback is that on weekends, there is a skeletal staff. I can't imagine how they could make their service better.

Wow what a place. I am overwhelmed and happy that I was sent here. The careone rehab center here in teaneck is an outstanding facility for anyone considering a beautiful rehab after surgery. I want to compliment the room and the cleanliness of the room. The nursing staff and the aids are all total professionals.They treat each patient with kindness and a smile at all times. The food is outstanding, kosher and very tasty, delicious and plentiful. The minyanim on Shabbos raised my spirits and kept me throughout the week. I also enjoyed the fantastic therapy sessions throughout the day once in the morning and once in the afternoon which assisted me greatly in my goal to transition very smoothly back to my own apartment.

My father was just discharged after being there for three months after a hospital stay. He is your typical 89 year old which means he can be quite cranky and noncompliant. Despite his attitude, his aide Sandra was patient, kind, snd respectful. My father trusted her completely. The second floor nurse, Jessica Davis, was professional, sympathetic, and always had a smile on her face. It is evident that she loves her job despite all the challenges she faces daily. Five months ago, my 99-year-old father-in-law suffered a stroke. After receiving treatment in the emergency room and at a rehabilitation center, due to insurance reasons, he had to be transferred to another facility, which brought us to Care One at Teaneck. From the very moment we stepped inside, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, nurses, and physical therapists, all with smiles on their faces. It became immediately clear that this is a place where true angels work. The dedication, compassion, and expertise shown by everyone here is nothing short of extraordinary. They didn’t just care for him physically; they uplifted his spirits and ours as well. They brought hope to a situation where we had almost none left. We had prepared ourselves to say goodbye, believing that he might soon be on his way to heaven. But, miraculously, last Saturday, he was discharged, and now, he’s at home with us, laughing and enjoying our time together. On September 5th, he will turn 100 years old. We don't know how much more time we will have with him, but until that day comes, we will be forever grateful and will do our utmost to care for him, despite feeling that no amount of effort will ever truly be enough to repay all that he has done for us. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Care One at Teaneck. Your tireless work, your incredible kindness, and your unwavering dedication have given us the most precious gift of all”time. The care you have provided is more than just a job; it is a calling, and you have answered it with grace and excellence.
