My sister’s been living at this lovely, calm, immaculate, cozy-comfy community for approximately 3 years now. Even found herself a devoted boyfriend! But for me, what I love, is that after bringing my sister back to Arbor from the hospital yesterday where she underwent emergency surgerythe staff was on it!!! They took immediate care of her, knowing exactly what to do, what supplies to order for her aftercareI did not have to do a thing!! I left my sister in the arms of her boyfriend, comfortable in knowing she was getting the best care possible. Thank you Arbor!!!

I just visited Arbor Terrace in Norwood, New Jersey. What an incredible place! Every person I met had a smile. I even got to dance with the culinary manager. Residents are at the assisted living or memory care level. The staff are very on top of making sure everyone gets out, gets social, and gets their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs met. My 74-year old brother, who is recovering from surgery for NPH (perhaps soon to be called "Billy Joel Disease"), has been at Arbor Terrace for 3 weeks. His experience, even at the relatively young age of 74, has been world class. The entire staff is warm, friendly, and highly professional. The nursing staff is thorough, attentive, empathetic. The residents are friendly and welcoming. The facility is clean and beautiful and the food is excellent. My brother's experience has been so positive that we will be staying for an additional month, at which point he will be more than ready for 55+ or independent living. Excellent assisted living home with fantastic aides, nurses, and staff. My parents have lived her for 4 years. They moved from an independent living apartment to the memory care when their dementia required additional care. It was a seamless change and the team from the independent living area also worked in the memory care so my parents saw the same team members on a regular basis. I am so happy that my parents are in a place that is so caring, clean and comforting. I highly recommend it for your loved ones when they need more care than you can give.

After touring many local assisted living communities, my mom moved into Arbor Terrace, Norwood, and we are beyond happy with our choice. From the first time we visited Arbor Terrace, we knew it was the right place for my mom. It is a smaller community, which is easy to navigate and not overwhelming. The building is beautifully appointed and extremely clean. The entire staff is warm, and know all the the residents by name. Marissa and Xiomara were readily available answering all of our questions during our decision making process, and still are just a phone call away.

It’s a great facility. I usually write a review when it’s 5 star or 0 star. This place is a top notch. I visit this place to see patients, and I am happy the way the staff and all clinicians take care of people living here. The staff here makes sure that everyone is taken care. They have all the other amenities like tv room, salon, exercise room. I am sure I have missed other amenities this place offers. Place is very clean and tidy. Denise, Angelica from the wellness center are absolutely great and other staff like Margarita, Albenia take a great care of patients. Letter To Arbor Terrace Hi, my name is Bill and I am a Hospice Social Worker having visited over a hundred health care facilities over the past few years. In a time when our health care facilities are notorious for being over worked and under staffed it's rare to come across a facility that can be recommended. Eight months ago I was assigned to over see the care of several patients at Arbor Terrace in Norwood N.J. Immediately I realized the level of treatment and care was above and beyond the norm. But why, why was this facility able to provide the level of treatment and care that should be standard for our countries health care facilities, when others have failed. What made this facility stand out? There’ a saying that No One Is a Success in Life Util they Become Caring and Productive Members of Society. And that there is No Shortage of Talent, but a Shortage of talented who genuinely care. Such care and compassion can be found as soon as you enter the doors of Arbor Terrace and meet with the receptionist Terry who has become like family to many of the residents their guest and the facility staff. Or when you visit the Memory Care Unit and meet with Jonathan the units Med Tech. Or when you meet Margarita and Soledad the most caring facility aids a patient and family could possible as for. Or when you meet with Margery or, Moya, or anyone of the other caring and talented facility staff members who all seem as if they were hand picked by God to be there to help see our loved one through. If only all our countries health care facilities could be as caring. Haven knows we pay enough! And it’s all being directed by Lorie the unit manger and overseen by Jeanelly the facility resident care director. I had a great experience with Arbor Terrace of Norwood. My 97 year old very independent aunt was reluctant to leave her house of 70+ years. After visiting many facilities in Bergen County, we met Director Xiomara and our decision was made. After a few weeks of adjustment my aunt was very comfortable. The staff consistently demonstrates expertise and sensitivity in the provision of elder care. The physical facility is beautiful and well-maintained. The team is caring, insightful, and steadfastly dedicated to the health and happiness of residents. Even the food is pretty good, and significant dietary restrictions can be accommodated. No place is perfect. When mistakes happen, Arbor Terrace is accountable and responsive. My siblings and I are beyond grateful for the safe and comfortable harbor it has provided our parents, and you will be too. My very independent 95 year old Mom celebrated her 5 week anniversary at Arbor Terrace Norwood on Mother’s Day. It was a wonderful day for all of the family that visited Mom. We started with a delicious buffet brunch ( the food is excellent) and enjoyed the festive and loving atmosphere at Arbor Terrace. Those who were visiting Mom at Arbor Terrace for the first time were so impressed with the staff (everyone knows Mom’s name,), the immaculately clean facility and the overall atmosphere. I have to admit that Mom was a little skeptical at first, but she is quite happy at Arbor Terrace now. Our family is overjoyed with the sense of security we feel for Mom at Arbor Terrace.

As a physical therapist, I had the chance to give a presentation to the residents at Arbor Terrace on Fall Prevention and Physical Longevity. The common areas, dining room, and activities room were all super clean, and the staff was so friendly and helpful in getting the residents where they needed to be. I am an Occupational Therapist and have worked in multiple Assisted Living facilities within Bergen County area. I can confidently say this is one of the best facilities within the area. The staff here has been amazing and proactive when working with residents. All staff members have great relationships with the residents and provide caring assistance when needed. They provide a great activity program to increase social interaction with community members and ensure residents are being physically active. Staff is constantly having meetings to stay up to date with best care they can provide as well as interactive meetings with residents to improve their wants and needs within the facility. This is a place that I would be comfortable having a family member of my own stay.

Arbor Terrace Norwood has been a blessing to our family. My mom has been very happy living there for the last four years. All of the staff treat her with the highest respect and personal care. She enjoys all of the meals served in the dining room and socializing with the other residents. There are many activities provided daily and she is frequently encouraged to participate. I especially appreciate that Arbor Terrace provides many outstanding live musical programs and performances for my mom to enjoy. I can't say enough positive things about Arbor Terrace in Norwood. It was a very difficult decision to move my mom to an assisted living facility and we looked all around Bergen County for a place she would be happy. From the moment we met Xiomara and Marissa and toured the facility we knew this was the place for her! From the moment we decided to move my mom I had so much support from Xiomara and her team. Everyone is so kind and caring and it feels more like a hotel than an assisted living home. Wow..I was totally blown away by how beautiful Arbor Terrace was. My mother and I visited this summer and we loved what we saw. Everything is updated and beautifully decorated. Xiomara gave us a wonderful tour. She showed us the apartment options- all so amazing and there are many common areas (library/family party room/theater..)that residents can use. The activity options were varied- from rosary club to group workout classes. The staff and the residents were warm and happy. We had a delicious lunch and we were impressed with all of the menu items that residents can choose. This visit brought my mom one step closer to moving to an adult community. Thank you!

My parents are safe, comfortable and really well cared for at Arbor Terrace. The staff are very caring and kind and the facility is beautiful. They moved from assisted living into memory care when they needed the extra care. It was a seamless and smooth transition. We are all grateful that Arbor is such a wonderful place for them to live.

We recently chose Arbor Terrace Norwood for my mother. In the process of making our decision we spent a lot of time with Chris Winnie, the Community Sales Director at Arbor Terrace. Chris was fantastic on all levels: he was well informed on all topics, very transparent, and very communicative at every stage of the decision making process. There were never any surprises because he made sure we knew what to expect all the way through. Further, after we decided on Arbor Terrace he went above and beyond to ensure my Mom's transition into the community was a smooth one. He's still checking on her even six months after she joined the AT community! Chris is a consummate professional and very empathetic. I am writing this review primarily to give well deserved kudo's to Xiomara Padilla for working with me. She is very professional and well organized. She knows her company's offering well and the industry. Due to location we did not choose this place for our Mom. When you are looking for a senior living solution for yourself or a loved one, I recommend speaking to Xiomara.

I gave better review of Arbor Terrace but wasn’t posted that way.It is true the higher ups really don’t listen and medicine was mixed up by nurse Dianne but medics Janala and Morgan are wonderful.The aides are very caring and girls at front desk are great!!!

Arbor Terrace is in an ideal location, so close to NYC. The apartments were nice and would fit plenty. The staff and community director seemed happy and caring which is important to us.

Atria, Norwood, is outstanding! The staff is different from many places, they CARE!. The building is immaculate and well furnished. My Mom has been living there for over a year now and we have no complaints. Her room is beautiful and she loves the food. The Wellness staff keep residents meds perfect. Charlene, Meg, Ismaly and Laura are the best! Thank you all for taking such good care of a very special Lady.

Atria has been the best thing for my mom! She LOVES being social and being around people all day! When she lived on her own, she wasn’t able to drive and get out so she only saw people on the weekends. Now it’s every day and it has enriched her life tremendously! Staff all know her name and Laura gets a special shout out for always going above and beyond!!
