My mother has been very happy at Sunrise of Madison since her arrival over 4 years ago. Thanks to a very kind and talented activities director, Jessie, my mother has been happy to join activities and engage with the other residents. More recently, Sunrise has added a second position in activities, giving Jessie an extra hand and having an activity person 7 days of the week. Thanks to Amy, my mother now feels an extra level of care and one on one attention that has been so meaningful for both me and my mother. She makes daily visits to the residents and engages personally to offer an ear, a laugh or a conversation. She has been a valuable addition to the team of caregivers, giving of her personal time and attention. Last week, for my mother's birthday, she used her own lunch hour to eat with my mother in my absence. She has truly made a difference in my mother's life! Presently, there is an excellent team of receptionists who know the residents by name and provide extra help and conversation to everyone. It is this special kind of attention that makes Sunrise a very caring environment.

My father has been at Sunrise of Madison for several months now and our initial experience has been quite positive. This is our family's first experience with any sort of assisted living so, you can imagine that the transition was quite difficult. The staff at Sunrise has done a terrific job of making that transition as smooth as possible. They are very responsive to any questions/concerns that we have. And most importantly, my father seems comfortable and happy. The facility/grounds at Sunrise of Madison are beautiful and well-located close to highways, hospitals, and the town of Madison NJ.

When your loved one is in need of additional care outside of the home, there are so many factors that come into play. Trust, respect, dignity, quality for a happy life, and friendship are just a few to name. Sunrise of Madison goes above and beyond in all of these areas. My mother is content there knowing that she has care givers that she can trust and develop relationships with. The location is beautiful and every area of expertise gives unparalleled care from the nursing and wellness staff, the dining and activities staff, and all of the management. They are attentive, kind and always available for a quick hello or an in depth check in on your loved one. The residents are also lovely, making the community a welcoming one. If you're searching for a second home for your loved one, Sunrise of Madison is well worth a visit.

we recently had a very difficult time with my mother - she was only here for a brief time in hospice care. the staff treated her and my family with the upmost care. my father recently moved in and has adjusted well. so far the staff are very courteous and welcoming towards him.

When a loved one is diagnosed with Dementia.. you know the hardest step will be when you have to move them into a memory care home. You look to find the safest, cleanest, best staff to resident ratio for more attentive care and support, with a comforting environment knowing you are putting them into the hands of others to care for them on a daily basis. This step is extremely emotional for everyone involved. Sunrise of Madison has been a great fit for our family member.. the facility is beautiful, well taken care off, the grounds are lovely and allow resident to sit in rocking chairs on the front porches, there is nice variety of activities, and most important the staff has been great. For us, Jelani Lee, the Reminiscence Coordinator, has been incredible in every way. He has been instrumental in the transition for my father, has helped with every aspect of moving in, responds to emails and phone calls in a timely manner, is always pleasant and is a comfort knowing there is a point person to help with any communication as needed. We thank you Jelani and appreciate you... and all the staff at Sunrise of Madison!

A WONDERFUL home for those looking for sincere care and understanding for their loved ones. I have never felt so confident in anyone besides actual family that wanted to do the right thing for my “adopted” Mom. She was a special lady and everyone treated her as such over the 3 years she was at Sunrise. They loved her and showed her that love til she recently passed.

This was a nice tour for the care that I was needing for my mom. We liked the friendly staff and the clean community. They offer a good list of meals and the activities would have been helpful to her care. This is a nice atmosphere and we would recommend this community for the care of a loved one.

This community has a very appealing entrance way with a beautiful wrap around porch in the front. The inside appeared bright and clean. The outside is landscaped beautifully ample places to sit and visit with people. The staff appeared friendly

My dad is currently in the assisted living unit and my mother is in the memory care unit currently at this community. I am very pleased with how things are going so far for them. The staff have been wonderful at helping them get adjusted and feel comfortable in there new living environment. They have had no complaints with the food and have enjoyed participating in many of the activities they have to offer throughout the week. Overall we are very happy with how things are going and would recommend this place.

We are very pleased, she is adjusting well. People are very nice for the most part. They seem to respond to everything pretty quickly. The food seems good, sometimes she loves it sometimes she is a little disappointed. Everything seems clean, and very upscale feeling. So far we haven't had any billing issues. I would give them a five at this point.

I toured this community while looking into care options for a loved one.Sunrise of Madison seemed like a nice place overall, and is somewhere we were considering as an option. The facility was well kept and clean, and all of the staff I met seemed friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend them as being worth a look!
