This is the best experience I have had. The only place if I can rely on anyone to help me, everyone supports me, listens to me, helps me. They know how i feeling, physical therapy helps me. I'm still not where I want to be but now I can stand up with my walker, I can do things with my hands. Activities are good with me but sometimes I am too busy. Destiny helps me with everything, she always helps me out of my room. My aide is wonderful, whatever I ask for they do.

I’ve never had such good food in all my life, including my college days in military the food superb. The people here seem to be a lot easier to get along with than other places. They cost me a lot of money at the place before Juniper, these men huge men would just rip off everything including my hearing aid and I lost them and if you lose them they’re $2500. Though people are always in a hurry here, they’re kind enough to help me with my pills and everything and Destiny and Grace are I think I’ll be glad to say that are some of the classiest ladies and always inviting me to join in on activities. If there is anybody else I can to tell them. I’d love that. I met with Destiny and Grace by the grace of God so far I mean, I could lose everything and I know. I sit with a table of all me and they’re very nice, we arrive early to our table and one guy he couldn’t be nicer. He’s always pats me on the hand and give me an orange juice. He gives me orange juice every day. Terrific boy it’s amazing.

Juniper Village at Chatham is a wonderful facility. My mother came here one month ago after living independently all her life. She is 92 years old and she needed extra care after a fall. She has received excellent attention and care from the first day. Every staff member is courteous, respectful, friendly, patient and always greeting everyone with a smile and an acknowledgement. Everyone is truly genuine here. After my mother experienced some awful staff interactions and level of care in her rehab hospitals, Juniper was like a breath of fresh air. I wish I knew every staff members name but I will mention those that I have interacted most with starting with Janel, Amanda, Lynn, Paul, Maria, Sharon, Max, Grace, all the receptionists, Natalie and Destiny. Destiny's position is unique and essential. She gets to know each resident and helps them to transition. She made the process much easier and she continues to be my main point of contact when I need something for my mother. This is very helpful. Communication with all is excellent (if I text someone they immediately reply back to me). All the staff should get recognition. My mother is still adjusting but with each day she seems more and more comfortable. The food is so good and the portions are substantial and all the servers are very helpful in helping my mother with her meal choices. Her room is beautiful overlooking the courtyard, there are interesting activities, and the facility is clean and welcoming in its decor and warmth. I am very happy that I discovered Juniper and feel very secure in knowing that my mother is being well taken care of.

Top Notch Facility!!! Amanda & Janel work extremely hard at providing a true Ritz Carlton experience to every guest! Everything is absolutely immaculate and run beautifully! My parents, Fernanda & Vincent Coccio constantly rave about Sharon Thompson, the waitress. She goes above & beyond to ensure everyone is well served and thoroughly satisfied with every meal. My mom moved into Juniper Village in Chatham in January 2025. She had been putting off going into managed care and was very apprehensive. However, as she now tells anyone who will ask her, My new home is the nicest place. The people are friendly and the staff are kind and caring. They take terrific care of me and I’m very happy here . My family and I are relieved to know that Mom is so well taken care of and that she’s happy. I’m glad that we found such a great place for her to live.

A few years ago I took my mother to visit about 6-8 Assisted Living and Continuing Care facilities in and around Morris County. She was not interested in any of them at the time. Eventually the time had come where she could no longer live at home. When I asked her where she would like to go she said she liked the staff she met at Juniper Village of Chatham and asked to go see that one again. I can’t tell you how seamless they made the transition. Trust me my brilliant Mother who is fiercely independent & very hard to please was very skeptical. She had lived in her house since 1966 when we moved in. Fast forward to now , 3 years after she moved in and she is very content and satisfied with every aspect of Junipers Assisted Living facility, including the food as well as there Physical Therapy department and activities department. Of course she missed her home, but the staff at Juniper did everything to make sure her needs are taken care of. Juniper is remarkably self contained with their own transport and some diagnostic testing, OT & PT on site. Eventually I had to go back to my job. Leaving with the peace of mind I felt with her care at Juniper was everything to me. I, her daughter live out of state very far away. The Air Force sent me to Fairbanks Alaska many years ago and I built a life up there 43 years ago. Although my Mother has been up to visit 5-6 times she would not entertain moving there with me. I work in a skilled nursing facility so I know good facilities from not so good. The family atmosphere at Juniper is very strong. Their Activities and Wellness team is just that a close knit team. There are calendars for activities and many choices every day. I receive phone calls from The Wellness team any time there is a change in her routine, eval , med change etc The communication with the resident and family members is better than I ever expected. There are many modes of communication with Juniper. They have a great website, Portal and I’ve never had to wait more than 24 hours at the most to have questions and concerns addressed via email or phone. They always give frequent updates on happenings at Juniper. They help my mom with her mail and are very protective of the resident at Juniper of Chatham. I obviously can’t say enough good things about Juniper Village of Chatham. I appreciate them so much. I come back up to 5-6 times a year and appreciate their consistency with the care the great food and friendly atmosphere all Around. Thank you Juniper.

My family has had a positive experience with Juniper village over 10+ years. We looked at many AL communities and this one was truly the nicest, hands down. It has a nice relaxed vibe, but also is a little classy. Mostly the staff overall has been exceptional, caring and professional while also being warm and friendly. We will miss juniper village, and are only leaving now because of a family move out of state. But if you are looking for a lovely AL facility this may just be the right one.

I have lived at Juniper Village at Chatham for 3 years and I've got no complaints! I love my apartment and all of the staff are extremely nice, especially the aides who make sure I get my medication when I need it. Good food, great people and plenty to do!

Juniper Chatham is a cozy assisted living facility tucked into a beautiful, quaint neighborhood. The staff here are very kind and caring of their residents. Ryan Fean in activities is heavily invested in the quality and the culture of the lives of the seniors. He’s caring and engaging. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Juniper Village at Chatham is unique among other area Assisted Living Facilities in that it feels like home. The staff is extraordinary; professional and genuine. The residents are welcoming and My Mother felt comfortable right away. The transition of care from self to assisted was smooth and I felt that her every need was tended to so I could relax. The staff from leadership & nursing to care givers are terrific communicators and welcoming of family interaction. The accommodations are very nice, activities are wonderful and the dining experience really round out this full service care facility. Everyone knows your name and residents are treated with respect & dignity. I can truly recommend Juniper Village at Chatham!

My mom is 93 years old and this her second assisted living she has been in. It will be her last, and I only wish it could’ve been her first ! The management , wellness nurse and care staff are absolutely unbelievable . My family and I finally feel at peace. I can’t say enough about the beauty, the cleanliness and most importantly the care, nursing group and management . I realize I keep repeating myself but to whomever is reading this it deserves a double mention. 1000 stars to Janelle, Lynn and Amanda and their talented caring staff of Angels .

My mother in law just returned from a one month rehabilitation stay at Juniper Village Chatham after a fall at home. Here are her thoughts: The staff paid particular attention to the individual needs of each resident. The PT and OT staff were patient and motivational. The food was wonderful and plentiful, and the wait staff remembered that I loved strawberry ice cream and made a special delivery. The facility was beautifully designed and immaculate. The activities were varied and fostered friendship among the residents. I give it 5 stars! Dorothy

My Mom is at Juniper Village almost 4 years. Mom is happy and well cared for at Juniper. Staff is amazing -- front desk you are greeted warmly, very clean and well maintained building, food is good, Chef Monica always welcomes feedback and food tasting for residents. There are activities for all interests and this department strives to make things fun as well. Also important is the excellent Wellness Department for loved ones care. Despite some management change at Juniper Chatham, I will say Corporate cares and is accessible, which to me speaks volumes. Janel the Executive Director, is around and present for the residents. Mom feels safe and secure.

In two years my mom has been at Juniper they have had an upheaval in management. The director, the assistant, the chef, dining staff and now the activities coordinator have left. There was a new director briefly, possibly there two months and she left. She never sent out an introductory letter to the families. I met her once briefly in the lobby as I was passing through and I never saw her again. I visit my mom every week. She did send one letter about price increases significantly on everything! It is very disappointing and disheartening to see a downhill on the quality of services with an increase in cost! I say the nurses work hard and are dedicated but they are short staff. I did hear they are hiring another nurse.?The communication is poor across the board! Management needs serious revision to bring back a standard of care residents and families are accustomed to.

Juniper Village in Chatham, NJ is outstanding. My elderly uncle was a resident there 2 times for rehabilitation purposes and then a third time in 2023. Having been a part-time nurse there for 3 years, I witnessed first hand how the residents were treated and also learn on all of the amenities, gourmet cuisine, plus a regular menu to choose from. The chef will prepare meals that are favorable to you, and the staff go way up and beyond for their residents. This includes, the nurses, nurses aides, maintenance, the director, transportation, etc. They even plan outings for shopping and entertainment. I can tell you this, the residents are treated with the utmost respect, and care. After being a nurse for over 45 years, I personally would not opt for any other Assisted Living facility. The prices with all inclusions is lower than other facilities. Juniper Village is kept spotless and is akin to being at a resort! Heed my advise and review and your loved one will be in professional and caring hands.

When my father passed away this past October my mother decided to move to NJ to be near me and my husband. We considered a number of assisted living communities in the area and had phone conversations and tours, either in-person or virtual, with about three. Juniper Village was highly recommended by a few friends who knew people whose family members had been residents. When I first called to get information I spoke to Frank Pascale, the Executive Director. He spent a considerable amount of time with me and I was impressed with how involved he obviously was with all aspects of the community and the residents. My impression was that the Juniper staff tried to customize things for each resident rather than forcing them into a cookie cutter program. I scheduled a tour with Brian McCann who was also extremely helpful ; he reinforced my feeling that the staff was extremely flexible in caring for the residents which I felt was important for my mother because she is 98 and has compromised vision and hearing. The facility has a warm, homey feeling and the apartments are very nice. Brian was extremely helpful with selecting which apartment would work best for my mother, even measuring two options so we could see which would best accommodate her furniture. We selected Juniper because of their focus on individualized care. They also have a respite program which we utilized initially for my mother with Juniper furnishing her apartment until her own furniture could be moved from Arizona. We also liked the size of the community “ big enough to be able to provide a full range of services but small enough to avoid an institutional feel. The night my mother first arrived is indicative of the care the management team gives to residents. We arrived in the evening after a long flight “ later than the normal check in time for new residents. When we came into the building there was a welcome party of the Executive Director, the head nurse, the head chef and the activities director. They were all there to make my mother feel welcome. I knew we had selected to right place. My mother has been happy so far at Juniper. She likes her apartment and raves about the food. The aides are very good at helping her dress and bathe. Most of her medical needs can be met right there. There are nurses who help with minor issues, and she has a Nurse Practitioner affiliated with Juniper who examines her routinely, writes her prescriptions and handles issues that come up. A local podiatrist and dermatologist have come to the facility to treat her. She’s utilized the physical and occupational therapy that is on the premises. The staff is all very competent and caring. Requests from either me or my mother are handled quickly. Activities have been limited because of Covid but I expect that will change in the future. The management has done a very good job of keeping the virus out of the building since April. I would highly recommend Juniper Village at Chatham.

I have visited Juniper Village at Chatham few times for work. I have to say I am very impressed with how everything is run. The entrance is very welcoming and its nice to see the residents smiling every time I was there and greeting me when I entered the community. To me that shows that the residents at Juniper Village are happy where they are and the Staff is doing the right things to keep everyone Happy.

Juniper Village was my first choice in assisted living after searching many options in Morris and Essex county for my mom. The facility is top notch offering a beautiful, clean and updated living environment with an ongoing variety of high quality services and activities for the residents. The staff cares about each individual and provides both the expert nursing and aide interaction that is personal and caring. I feel fortunate that my mom feels so at home in Juniper Village in Chatham, NJ.

my mother who will be 94 in august has been at juniper for almost one and half years...I cannot begin to tell you how happy she is..she is busy every day with activities and cannot wait to get started in the morning......the entire staff is wonderful...very understanding, caring and polite. all aspects of juniper village in chatham are terrific...the meals in the dining room are very good and the chef and staff always go out of their way to make folks fill at home and special. the activities they have both in and out of the building are great..the day trips, weather permitting are always well thought out and fun. I highly recommend juniper to everyone..i know it is hard to make this kind of decision, but it is the best place for your loved ones to be..at a certain time in their lives as well as yours...
