I have had two family members live at Spring Village. I can honestly say that both of them improved tremendously in their care. The environment is a welcoming community, filled with activities. The staff, from housekeeping to nursing to administrators, know my loved one's name and engage him in conversation. Making the decision to choose assisted living for a family member is extremely difficult, but they make it so much easier.

A breath of Spring air, indeed! My experience presently with Spring Village is limited to a tour of the facility, which is extremely clean and surrounded by gardens, with a lot rooms w/ abundant natural light. All on 1 floor and ample parking definitely supports a smooth visit. Impressed by the all-day breakfast menu too. Amanda L. has been fabulous in beginning the conversations with my mother's medical/social work team in a NYC rehab facility as I investigate what is the best fit for my mother at this point in her health journey. Thank you for your support--and that yummy 'welcome loaf'.

When it came time to place my loved one in a memory care facility, the decision was easy. Spring Village at Dover is where my uncle was and my mom's best friend. Seeing the care and compassion they received was heartwarming. Being a DPOA for my friend and responsible for her placement made me comfortable and assured she would be well taken care of and safe. Her passion was walking and she was free to walk around the home with staff being aware of her whereabouts at all times. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with activities that promotes stimulation and enjoyment for the residents and family. We never had to worry and are so thankful for the staff who treats all as family!

Amanda DON is fantastic and so tentative to staff and patients. Stephanie K, Lorraine l, and Tiffany is amazing with patients and I never have to worry about my patients being cared for when they are there. Amanda office manager is fabulous and bring so much joy and laughter. I’ve seen big changes in the past 6 months. Keep up the amazing job for the residents and families

Spring Village is a warm and homey environment for my close friend! My uncle and another family friend have also stayed here and all three have been very happy! As a caretaker Spring Village has given me peace of mind knowing the staff is so attentive and caring, the facility is clean and inviting, the "neighborhood" inside the building offers a safe walk throughout for the memory care patients who always enjoyed walking around their own neighborhoods. After researching many memory care homes, we realized that Spring Village was top notch and provides the safe and caring environment we were looking for! Not only do they provide excellent nursing care, but they also have many daily activities going on for all the residents to join in. There is always something fun going on at Spring Village and it is such a joy to show up and see all the residents engaging in activities and enjoying the community there. Spring Village was the perfect place for my husband Ben. It took a while for him to get used to his new "home", but he learned it was right for him. He was always amazed that every staff member knew his name. They never tired of hearing his stories of lobstering, working at the phone company, or of his favorite place Sandwich, NH with pictures to go with his tales. He thought the meals were delicious eating foods he would never eat if I had served the same meal to him. It was also great to have the Country Kitchen for Ben and I to have lunch and dinner together every now and then. Everyone was wonderful and compassionate to me, our daughter, her husband, our grandson, and any friends who visited. I would highly recommend Spring Village to any family who is looking for a friendly and safe place for their loved one.

Regret that both parents were brought to this facility. The executive director and director of nursing do not return phone calls even if it involves emergency situations. They tried to illegally discharge my mom because she wanders and has outbursts - common with dementia. The director of nursing position has constant turnover. The care of my parents was substandard due to staff turnover and the use of staff from employment agencies who are always new. For example my dad had fallen out of bed several times and was often covered in feces and soaked in urine. Stay away from this facility if you want to your loved ones to be safe and cared for.

Spring Village in Dover, NH has been such a positive experience for my husband. The staff has gone above and beyond making him feel like he truly belongs. He lives for the weekly bus rides. I was surprised to see how much he remembered from his trip to New Castle Commons . He was able to share details about the tall ships. The facility itself is charming. I thank God daily for helping my husband find his home.

Such a beautiful building! The staff were all kind while I was visiting my grandmother and were even so kind as to provide a meal for me! Management does not care, money is the only motivation! If you want your loved one to be cared for keep on searching! Resident to aide ratios are usually over 15/1 often more. Don’t let the smoke show deceive you.

We moved our mother into Spring Village about a month ago. Since moving into the facility our mother has been very happy with all aspects of the facility. The facility provides great meals that our mother enjoys along with all kinds of activities during the day. From family member point of view: The facility is very up to date. The residents are treated very well. The staff stays on top of medical challenges and works with family members to ensure each individual gets the care they need. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The rooms are very nice and roomy. Plenty of room for someone to enjoy their own space and not feel like they are in a nursing home.

Wish we never allowed our aunt to enter that building. Over 50 falls and no documentation to cover them all and she ended up dying from hitting her head. They just want your money.

What a beautiful building, and the staff were so pleasant and friendly! The residents looked happy and comfortable. Some were gardening, others were enjoying walks around the building, and some were visiting in the common areas. There are enclosed areas to walk or sit outside. The rooms are beautiful as well. I recommend that you schedule a tour so you can see for yourself. ™
