Honestly, this is not a luxury hotel. It's a nursing home. But they were seriously very good to my mother. Things were not always perfect, but she loved the staff there like family, and some of them loved her. This is much nicer than the places in Pittsburgh, where I live. I am happy my mother was there.

The Covington is a wonderful community with the most caring and kind staff I've ever met. All of the staff make a point to learn and know resident's individual needs making the resident's stay more comfortable. One can feel secure in the level of car their family member will receive during their time at The Covington. Everyone goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure the residents enjoy their home.

Came in to see my grandmother and the bed was not made. It was about 1:30 in the afternoon because it was around lunch time. There has been several times where I have come in when my grandmother was either in the bed or her bed was not made. I asked one of the housekeepers could they get me some sheets so I could fix it up and they were happy to do so. I know that is not their job, but they were willing to help me. That's the only reason this review got 4 stars.

My mother has been at the Covington since last September. It has been a wonderful experience. She is on the Memory Unit and is doing great. The Doctors On Call group have been so attentive to her needs and call me any time they visit her with an update. They have a rehab unit and are working with mom regarding her posture and balance issues. We are so blessed to have found the Covington. The staff have been wonderful to her and our family. Prior to finding The Covington, mom was at two other facilities in another county. Both "kicked" her out due to her roaming into other resident's rooms and getting into their belongings. Those facilities just weren't equiped and/or trained to deal with residents like my mother.
