This is an amazing facility. The staff welcomed my Mom with open arms. They were sensitive to her unique situation and allowed my Mom to set the pace of orienting herself to her new home. Every staff member we encountered reassured us that my Mom was in good hands. I want to specifically mention staff members Patricia, Mike, Brandi and Ana. What amazing people. However there is one staff member that went above and beyond when caring for my Mom, that was Charlene Ross, she goes by "Char". This woman was truly heaven sent. She is without a doubt the most caring and attentive care giver I have ever seen. I would entrust her with any of my family members. If you are considering Assisted Living or Memory Care Facility, I highly recommend this Brookdale Facility. My family and my Mom were very happy with them.

Beautiful facility with wonderful staff! I was especially amazed at how engaged the staff is with the residents of the memory care unit. Such caring people! The program coordinator, Charlene, is the best! She makes sure the residents are well taken care of and you can tell her heart is in it. . I highly recommend Brookdale Pinehurst.

My best friends father is new to the facility. We visit them at least once a year. This years visit to Mac was so much different then the past few years.It is such a relief to know that he is FINALLY being cared for the way he deserves to be, like a human being. The Memory Care workers at Brookdale show everyday how much they care not only about their jobs but the people they care for. The last facility he was in Peak Resources at Pine Lake was just a place for people to go to die. Walking in to see Mac the other day made my heart smile. Your residents look ALIVE, and the most important thing was Mac said I like this place! It is a blessing that my friend Brett can finally be able to relax knowing that her father is in a safe, loving environment! Thank you for everything you do! Charlene is amazing and hands on with the residents and their families. Thank you for taking care of Denny McCann and making his family finally feel at ease!

My dad is truly thriving in this community! And we couldn’t have asked for more loving people to care for him in our absence! (HUGE shoutout to Charthe level of care and ability to treat the residents as her own family does not go unnoticed!) My only regret is that we didn’t make this move sooner! ’

I would recommend Brookdale for your loved one should assisted living be the route your family decides to take. I have come to understand that there is no perfect assisted living facility, but Brookdale is a good option. It is clean and maintained and the food gets a mostly thumbs up! It is a smaller facility which allows for a more homey, close-knit feel. My mom moved in with dementia and depression and it was very difficult in the beginning for her to adjust and settle in. Shelly and Toni showed genuine care and concern and went the extra mile for at least two months to help her and the staff adjust. As with most facilities a lot depends on the care staff and there are really good ones and some not so good ones, but being present and involved provides the opportunity to bring cares and concerns to administration to help resolve any issues. Shelly and Toni have a good grasp on the challenges staff can bring and do their best to address and smooth things out, and they both step in when there is a need for extra assistance. A special thank you to Shelly for making sure mom had her coffee every morning! 🙂

Brookdale is welcoming, clean environment. Feels more like a home than a facility. Admission process was easy. Shelley turned what should have been a stressful experience into a manageable process. Staff was warm and attentive. Very great to work with.

Wonderful memory care facility. Charlene and her associates go above and beyond to insure my mother’s well being and that is no easy task. At Brookdale/Pinehurst the memory care staff is 5 star and my decision to place my mother there is an answered prayer. Thank you!

I am very pleased with the services that my sister receives here at Brookdale. She is having a wonderful experience, she now gets up and is participating in activities. I was pleased to get a photo of her engagement in activities. I would refer a friend to live here it’s a warm and friendly.

I don't usually do reviews but seeing the others, I felt it necessary. You will always have some people who have unattainable expectations. My loved one absolutely loves it, the staff really make the residents feel special. They are attentive and it gives me peace of mind knowing she is safe and well cared for. They work together as a team to ensure you're getting quality care. Great communication with several managers. Too many great people to mention them all but one who stands out at this time is Towanda. She has blown our family away with her kindness and patience. She goes above and beyond each and every day! While I could nag for minor instances overall I would recommend this place over any others

I rarely write reviews but must comment on Brookdale. We have had a family member at Brookdale since June 2021. We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Brookdale. Our family member has done very well there and the staff has been terrific. They are attentive and friendly and they try to meet all of the clients needs. The activity director keeps everyone involved and busy and is very personable with everyone. We would love to keep our family member there but now he requires more than assisted care can offer. Very thankful for the kindness that has been shown to our whole family.

Staff at the facility do a very poor job of record keeping/reporting. There have been incidents of injuries due to falls where no reports have been have been completed. Doctors at the hospital told a relative of the resident that her injuries were from a fall. Staff did not verbally tell the relative that the individual had fallen and she would not have been able to get up on her own so they would have to have known. Records regarding covid-19 vaccinations were not kept on some residents. Numerous calls were made to the facility and the corporate office where staff assured the person calling that they would check on things and call them back on that date. The person did not receive a call back. A different resident at the facility told staff several times that she did not like or eat tuna salad. They continued to serve her tuna salad for meals and they did not offer to fix her anything else. This person was paying over $5,000 and they could have fixed her a peanut butter or grill cheese sandwich. Instead, she had to eat some snacks that had been brought for her. The two residents mentioned have been moved to another facility. If you make a choice to put your family member at the facility you need to check often. Remember they don't return calls and the covid virus may prevent personal contact. This facility/company is more interested in the money than the care of your love ones.
