If giving 0 stars were an option, I would. Our dad was in memory care for a short while. [name removed] the Memory Care Coordinator made promises she couldn't keep. I appreciate the staff for all they had done for him, but they weren't given much to work with. After talking to several of them they were often left with no helping hands. Always short staffed, over worked, under paid, and given a workload that was extremely hard. [name removed] always left around 5-5:30pm. I stood at the "spa" one day and heard her speak very nasty about most of the staff there. I brought this up to the ED [name removed] and he made a comment about that's how she is. I knew then my father was going to be leaving after all I heard and seen please be careful on who you allow into your family. The workers were great just the management was terrible. I didn't get a chance to see how the Assisted Living side was, but it looked a little better. I know they were getting a new manager at that time in AL.

Our friend lived at Terra Bella for 5 years. He passed away September 17, 2024. My husband and I were his POA since he had no family in NC. I can not say enough good things about this assisted living facility. He was at another facility for 2 months prior to our moving him to Terra Bella and although the place was very nice (and much more expensive), the staff never got him involved in activities. At Terra Bella he immediately started participating in activities. The activity director was super. She listened and learned what our friend was interested in and planned activities that he would enjoy. She got 3D puzzles of things he liked and they worked together assembling them. He loved playing dominoes with his friends. I really feel like his life was extended by living his final years at Terra Bella.

The facility is a cut above. I highly recommend contacting Suzanne and getting a tour if you ever consider it for you or a loved one.

Though it was a short stay, my husband's grandpa had an amazing experience here. After experiencing declining health, and after losing his wife of over 50 years, his stay here put a spark back in his eyes. Many staff members knew him by name and conversed with him like he was family. He was able to socialize, enjoy good meals, participate in church services, and he received excellent care. We are so thankful that his time spent at Terra Bella helped him regain some independence and confidence.

TerraBella Newton is an amazing place! My grandpa stayed there for a couple months and he received the best care. The staff are super nice and he loved the activities. Highly recommend!

The community is very clean and inviting. All of the residents and staff were friendly and welcoming and spoke highly of the Executive Director as we toured.

TerraBella is such a wonderful place! The staff is always so friendly and welcoming, but most importantly, the residents always come first. They provide several activities and make living in the facility a very happy, fun place to call home. I have had the pleasure of visiting the facility bi-weekly to host Bingo. There is not a day that I have encountered where I haven't felt welcomed or part of the family. With the staff always going the extra mile to keep such a beautiful, clean and happy place makes for such an extraordinary experience with each visit. I highly recommend the facility for anyone in the search for a wonderful place to live.

MY Mother stayed there until she passed recently! She was provided with very good care and all of her needs were met to keep her Happy and Healthy as Possible! The facility never smelled bad, was always clean, and the Staff were very caring and provided all that my Mom could have ever asked for! The Nursing staff seemed to show actual caring towards my mom and was never degrading or cold towards any of the residents there ! I would and do Recommend this Facility to any one that has a loved one that is in need of professional care!

Very clean and beautifully decorated community! Employees treat the residents like family and there is a lot of laughter around the building. The residents in Assisted Living have choices of at least 6 activities each day and sometimes more! The residents have choices for meals which ensures they get what they like! Memory Care is always busy with activities and today I heard one of the residents playing the piano and other residents singing! I would put my family member here in a heartbeat!

My Mom passed in March at the young age of 90. After living at Elmcroft for 2 1/2 years. Mom was a social butterfly. And there were so many activities for her to do there. They also had spa day which made her feel so good. With her pretty nails and makeup. They took day trips, bowling, to see Christmas lights, went shopping, Mom always had a beautiful yard full of flowers. And at Elmcroft they have a garden the residents could tend to. She had many friends and the staff was so good to her. Mom was very happy living there. She gave hugs and received hugs. She was safe and loved. I was always welcomed and on first name basis with the staff. I can’t say enough good things about Elmcroft.

My mom was a resident of Elmcroft. She recently passed. The outpouring of love and compassion were astounding. The staff took care of my mom and my family. I will always be grateful knowing she was loved so much. I just want to say thsnk you do much for that. If you are looking for a place for your family member this is the place. You wil find compassion and love there for you and you loved one.
