Park Manor is what you make of it, just like anywhere else. I lived there for several years, kept to myself, had no real issues and it was home to me. Rachel was the assistant/occupancy manager when I moved in. I was in a bad situation; she was extremely sweet, kind, understanding, and she got me in very quickly. There were three different managers during my time there. Jamie was the manager when I moved in and she took care of business. She left after a year and two other managers came and went. After Jamie left, I watched this little gal run the entire show on her own, with the help of maintenance and kitchen. So she became Rockstar Rachel to me. She really is the sweetest person you'd ever want to meet, but she is not to be trifled with. She has finally officially become the manager and has been joined by Rockstar Jerri as the assistant/occupancy manager. Together they make a wonderful team, take care of business and make it feel like home. If you follow the rules, effectively communicate with management, don't cause any problems, you won't have any problems. Rachel and Jerri work hard at keeping it running smoothly. It is an old building, so if you live there, know that you have to deal with the quirks of it being an older building. Management and maintenance work together to keep it running as smoothly as possible. There was housekeeping when I moved in, shout-out to them as well, not to mention the kitchen. I didn't have the meal plan, ate there a few times and had other dealings with them. From my experience, they're all doing their best and were pleasant to deal with, kind to the residents. People who give Park Manor bad reviews, either got kicked out for good reasons, don't pay attention, or don't know what it is to struggle. I have no complaints. If you need a place to live that's income based and meet the requirements, go see Rockstar Rachel and Rockstar Jerri, they'll take good care of you.

Building caters to retired individuals, easy to access handicapped ramp in front of building . apartments available with handicap facilities . Building participates in HUD rental assistance program. located in an excellent downtown location,close to shops and restaurants , plenty of on site fenced and secured parking lot , on site laundry room, exercise gym , Party or metting rooms in basement , Large conftrable TV room in lobby , Large dinning room area with a super friendly staff, Building provides Lunch and Dinner. Nice Patio area for picnics , 24 hour maintenance service, excellent customer service from the Building staff. Beauty Salon in Lobby. Nice and comfortable trouble free studios and One Bedroom apartments, Nice and very respectful tenants. Good place to live .

They have fixed any past issues and are working to make it a great place to live. They have much improved their food program and the managers are very friendly! Very beautiful historic building.

I LIVED ALL OVER THE PLACE FROM SEATTLE TO SAN DIEGO AND NOW I LIVE HERE AT THE PARK MANOR.....CHECK IT OUT......NO BULLSHYT......MANAGEMENT IS COOL AND I HAVE NOT HAD ANY BED BUGS.....SO THE HATERS CAN SHUT THEIR MOUTH.....MOST LIKELY WHOEVER HAS HAD BED BUGS WAS MOST LIKELY FILTHY AND WHOEVER HAD ISSUES WITH MANAGEMENT MOST LIKELY DIDNT HOLD UP THEIR END OF BEING A DECENT TENANT........I RECOMMEND THE PARK MANOR....

This is a great place to start over again in life, it's clean, people are friendly, and the location is right there on Central Avenue where the best thing is to go and do business with the community business. I am enjoying it!!!

I was able to move in at a time I slept in my car... that was 3 years ago. The staff are awesome and genuinely care about the tenants. The tenants are more than neighbors - we are a family. The history of Park Manor is still relevant and alive, within its walls, its artwork by famous Charlie Russell, and the location is excellent.

Very nice people and they work with you *****update**** 7 months later I found out that the bed bugs here are awful I have to move into a nursing facility due to my health they dont do anything about it at all and the so called maintenance guy wont say his name but is rude outta line to disrespecting women..my toilet has been backed up 3x and he said from now on I would have to use the bathroom downstairs well I cant get my wheelchair in most the rooms or bathrooms down there so I cant he also told me I'm being charged for him coming to fix my toilet and I keep clogging them on purpose. One of the managers has worked with me and she is wonderful person. But they kicked my personal care giver out of the building for taking up for my rights and I had to go to the hospital came home and they turned my fob off so I had to sit out side dead of winter for someone to let me in. Plus I now I have an eviction notice and they cut me off the food program where I was replying on for my food source. I am moving but I really do not recommend this place for the elderly or disabled. It was a very nice starter apartment for me at first but now the bugs are eating me alive where my skin is so raw n bleeding from scratching all the time its ridiculous. So if you need a place really bad come here but truly if you can find somewhere else then go there cause eventually you will get the bugs when I moved in my apartment was brand new and all my things were brand new everything bed n all and now 7 months later invested.
